It's Natural! - the best of olive oil benefits. Extra virgin olive oil is nothing but fruit juice extracted mechanically from olive fruit. There is no heat or chemicals used in the extraction process. My favourite and the most beneficial is a fresh organic unfiltered extra virgin olive oil.

2. Flavour - It just tastes good. I guess I would have to say it is an acquired taste and some people just don't like the bitter characteristic of some oils. There are olive varieties known for their mild flavour and olive oil pressed from ripe olives is smooth, mellow and buttery.
substitute olive oil for butter

3. Nutritional Value - vitamins E, K, and A as well as polyphenols, squalene, oleocanthol, triterpenes and hundreds more micronutrients make olive oil a healthy choice. Read more about olive oil nutrients.

4. Oleic Acid - oleic acid (omega 9) makes up 55 - 85 percent of the fatty acids in olive oil. Don't confuse this with the amount of free oleic acid which is the main factor used to determine the grade of the olive oil and the lower the better. It's great for your skin - read about common oils used in soaps and how they can do so much more than just clean your skin at romancing-the-soap.com Oleic acid aids in keeping our arteries supple and helps prevent cancer.

5. Hydrogenated Oils - olive oil is not hydrogenated oil. Hydrogenation creates dangerous trans-fats found in margarine and many other packaged foods.

6. Heart Health and Cholesterol - extra virgin olive oil is high in polyphenols (a powerful antioxidant) and monounsaturated fat which contributes to lowering bad cholesterol. Read more about this health benefit here.

7. Cancer - researchers at the University of Oxford believe that olive oil may be just as effective in the prevention of colon cancer as fresh fruits and veggies. A diet rich in olive oil has been shown to reduce the incidence of colon., breast and skin cancers.

8. Blood Pressure - Studies now indicate that extra virgin olive oil may help to lower blood pressure. Patients were able to reduce or eliminate the need for medications when olive oil was consumed on a regular basis.

9. Alzheimers - this disease is associated with the clogging of arteries caused by cholesterol and saturated fat. Replacing other fats with olive oil will reduce the risk.

10. Gallstones - Olive oil promotes the secretion of bile and pancreatic hormones naturally and lowers the incidence of gallstones.

There are more olive oil benefits. It's great for skin and hair care, used in natural remedies, and is a more versatile cooking oil than you may think.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

It seems
prayer still upsets some
people.. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is

what they heard:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it
choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..

We have abused power and called it
politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India , Africa and Korea .

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story, and received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

It is because they have made winning a habit.

I remember once someone ask me. What is your relationship with results? I couldn't answer him, because at that time I was at period of where I was lost and have no vision in life.

When we have no intention of creating results, we will fall into the category of being mediocre. Nothing wrong about that, however is that what you really want out of your life. Life is short and we only have one shot to life, give it your best and make a difference.

Therefore winning is a habit which we can cultivate. Getting your air crew to " Bare all" to get the attention of uninterested commercial airplane passengers.

With the increasing mishaps of airline accidents, I will say this is a thumbs up effort to buzz up air safety awareness. Enjoy the video and in the meantime, don't just focus of the bare essentials and forget about the lesson behind this air safety video.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

It was a night he will never forget, the boy is non other than myself and this has been more than 15 years.

When I got the news yesterday morning, I just couldn't believe that Micheal has left us. I just feel he is still around in our mist as his music, his dance moves, his voice and his magic will always be in our heart.

His achievements are untouchable, with more than 750 million album sold worldwide and 13 Grammy Awards, he is indeed one of the most successful entertainer in our time.

With his 50 come back concerts fully sold out in London, you know how many people have been awaiting for the opportunity to ever see him perform live again. However we will never have the chance again.

I went on to open up my little black box, where I kept my entrance ticket to the King of Pop live concert which I have keep as a momento for more than 15 years. I just want to pray that may his soul rest in peace and you will always continue to live on in our hearts. You will feel you have the fiery passion and desire to want to share with the world.

However people have the mentally free information are useless information, therefore they paid thousands of $$$ dollars to attain seminar to feed themselves with "so call valuable information"

Believe it or not, free information does not necessary be junk information, you got to do your own filtering of the information you gather. I will say the best example is the internet, you can literally find anything you want in the internet using search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN ETC free of charge and all you need is to be proficient with search engine "Keywords"

I have a recently stumble upon a very informative site call TED . In it you will find people sharing the latest information on science, technology, business etc, and mind you the people sharing these information are subject matter experts and not any TOM DICK or BOB. The best of all, the information there are free.

I have grew to glue myself to this site as there are so many things I can learn there, and this will be my Free Online Learning Seminar.
so log on to TED.COM to learn something new. Can this be true?

The top 10 reasons why passionate people are able to turbocharge the Law of Attraction in their lives are:

1) Passion Flames Focused Action.

Not all action results in positive outcomes. But any action is better than no action. Any action you take bridges the gap between the spiritual and the physical. Like a laser beam, action focused action concentrates your activity and energy in powerful ways, which in turn accelerates your results.

2) Passion Fuels Our Desired Outcomes

When we are not passionate, we do things half heartedly and achieve mediocre results. But when we are passionate about it, we are virtually assured our our success in what we want to achieve.

3) Passion Opens The Floodgates of Creative Inspiration

Haven't you experienced this before. When you are passionate and excited about something, your mind becomes like a creative force that cannot be stopped. You develop one amazing idea after another. But when you are lackadaisical about something, nothing creative comes to mind no matter how much time you spend on it. Like resonance, passion is a higher frequency vibration that will attract more high-frequency vibrations – like creativity and ingenuity. And when the two frequencies are in harmony, you get extreme results!

4) Passion Turbocharges Your Results

Whether you’re focused on increasing your financial abundance or creating a work of art, your strong flames of passion and emotion will usually propel your results so that you achieve what you want more quickly that you would ordinarily.

5) Passion Inspires Clear Vision On The Way Ahead

Life is full of choices. Sometimes there are many paths ahead of us that we can choose. None of the paths are wrong but some paths chosen are definitely more difficult than others. Passion can help you determine the right path because it is more meaningful and important. And this results in greater clarity and insight to the way ahead.

6) Passion Keeps You Firmly In The Present

A nature of a passionate person is that they are completely immersed in what they are doing at the moment. They do not worry about the future or dwell in the past. Look at any athlete, they live for the moment they are playing. Nothing else matters. Not the past or future games. It is the next point. Not the end score. So if we can learn to focus on our current activities, we will enjoy them more and achieve more.

7) Passion - An Escape from Complaints

Instead of complaining and being unhappy about what we do not want, passion helps shift our attention to focus better on what we do want. The more we do things that we are passionate about, the less time we focus on what we do not have, the unhappy things. The negative things. And we start attracting more of the positive things!

8) Passion Means No Fear

When you are passionate about something, you will be able to block out all fears and resistance. Instead of anxiety, you are filled with an adrenaline rush when you are engaged in your passion. Enthusiasm and passion blocks out any chances of you experiencing fear or worry. This enables you to do things you never could have done.

9) Passion Extends Endurance

Just consider. How often do we spend hours and hours on what we are passionate about and still feel that time has flown right by? Working on the car, waiting for the prize catch. We easily get lost in it willingly and because of that, we accomplish much more that what we would have otherwise. This can also create more expansive results than you would otherwise receive.

10) Passion Begets Passion

The more we invest in our passion, the more chances we get to feel passionate. It is like love or any other emotion. The more we love, the more we receive love. The more we give, the more we receive. Passion begets passion and the flames will spread quickly and you will burn even brighter!

The Law of Attraction speaks about the vibrations you emit to the universe. If you emit strong emotions, like your passion, it will eventually return to you in the same or similar form. So if you want to reap what you sow, make sure your infuse whatever you do with passion and energy and just marvel when this creates a circle of love, joy and abundance in your life!

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

Now you can simply do this by sharpening your old scissors or knives using the neck of a glass bottle.

Dead Sea Salt Bath Foam
I used to buy bath foam with dead sea salt that cost SGD$15 per bottle, until I discovered this trick. Just create your own dead sea salt bath creme by adding in fine sea salt into your regular bath creme(1 table spoonful for every 100 ML). You will find that using salt in your bath foam, will give you a cleaner skin than your usual bath creme.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

It's a test of your courage and your determination to see something through, and when things get tough it seems harder to stick to the path you've chosen.

In the early days, you're buoyed along by the excitement and satisfaction of having made an important decision, and it feels relatively easy to stick at it and give it 120% every day, because you made an obligation to yourself, and maybe to other people, to apply yourself and give of your very best.

Wouldn't it be just great if things stayed that way? Wouldn't life be terrific if everything was plain sailing and nothing got in the way?

You and I both know life's not like that. That weight loss and fitness programme that suddenly seems like too much hard work and you cut sessions for too long. The relationship that over time appears to be less exciting and romantic than before and your attention begins to stray. The real purpose in your life towards which you've set your determined face now seems too difficult to reach.

First of all, remember this. You're not a bad person for letting go of the wheel for a while. You're not a failure. You're simply a human being, with frailties and insecurities and sometimes a faltering sense of self-belief. We are all the same.

These lapses of commitment are of huge importance because they are chances to test your courage and your determination. They're unsettling - they make you examine the reasons for letting go of the wheel and sometimes those reasons aren't easy to hear.

Maybe the time is now right for you to confront your fears of failure - or even success. Fear is simply an illusion and you don't need to be controlled by it. Fear stops you from listening to that quiet voice inside. Let it go.

Are you beginning to doubt the importance of your vision and question the necessity of carrying on? Pay no heed - you know in your heart that these are simply smokescreens and cloud your mind to what you know is right and true.

Are you beginning to doubt your courage? Remember that you never lose it - courage is part of who you are and it never disappears. It is you that hides it from your heart.

Always remember that setbacks and discouragement are part of life. They're as inevitable as the sunrise.

What makes us worthy of their challenge is how we learn from them

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.

His first owner also did not think that he could survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'. By this time, his present owner, Judy Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She was determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith'.

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.

Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows . There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Judy Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul'.

In life there are always undesirable things. Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the point of view from another direction.. After numerous hours of discussion they come to a series of points to support their argument.

4 Reasons Computers Must Be Female

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic.

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.

3. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

4 Reasons Computers Must Be Male

1. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.

2. They have a lot of data but are still clueless.

3. They are supposed to help you solve your problems, but half the time they cause the problem.

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have had a better model.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

So he goes to a priest and asks for his opinion on this question.

After consulting the Bible, the priest says, "My son, after an exhaustive search, I am positive that sex is work and is therefore not permitted on Sundays."

The man thinks: "What does a priest know about sex?"

So he goes to a minister, who after all is a married man and experienced in this matter. He queries the minister and receives the same reply. Sex is work and therefore not for the Sabbath! Not pleased with the reply, he seeks out a Rabbi, a man of thousands of years tradition and knowledge.

The Rabbi ponders the question, then states, " My son, sex is definitely play."

The man replies, "Rabbi, how can you be so sure when so many others tell me sex is work?"

The Rabbi softly speaks, "My son, if sex were work, my wife would have the maid to do it."

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

This will let the colour of your clothes stay on for a long time. I had a friend who told me he did this to his table cloth 10 years ago and till now, it still look as good as new. Unbelievable!!!!

Houseflies Prevention
Always having houseflies hovering over your food? Pour some sesame seed oil or sprinkle some pepper into a small bowl and put it on your table. The smell of the sesame seed oil or pepper will stop houseflies from coming near your food

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

As
Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, wrote, “Whatever
the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

Step One. Decide exactly what you want in each area of your life
and then write it down in clear, specific language. Writing your
goals on paper moves you into the top 3 percent of living adults.

Step Two. Set a deadline on your goal; if necessary, set subdeadlines
so that you can always measure how well you are
doing and how fast you are moving toward what is most
important to you.

Step Three. Identify all the problems and obstacles that stand
between you and your goal. Select the biggest obstacle or roadblock
and make a plan to deal with it or remove it as soon as
possible.

Step Four. Identify the people, groups, and organizations
whose help or cooperation you will require to achieve your
goal. Determine what they might accomplish by helping you.
Anyone who wants to achieve large goals must have the help
and support of many other people. Who are they?

Step Five. Identify the additional knowledge and skills that
you will need to achieve your goal. Remember, as Les Brown,
author of Live Your Dreams, says, “To achieve something you
have never achieved before, you must become someone you
have never been before.” Select the one skill that can help you
the most in the achievement of your biggest goal, and make a
plan to acquire that skill as soon as possible.

Step Six. Take the answers to the first five steps and organize
them into a plan of action. Make a list of every step that you
will have to take to achieve your goal. Organize the list by prority and sequence. Organize parallel activities and sequential
activities. Put time lines on each part of your plan. Commit the
entire plan to writing and review it regularly.

Step Seven. Take action on your plan immediately. Do something
every day that moves you in the direction of your most
important goal. Never miss a day. As Robert Schuller said, “By
the yard, it’s hard; but inch by inch, anything’s a cinch.”

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

An effective to get rid of the smell is by soaking your clothes into half a bucket of water, which 3-4 tablets of Aspirin has been added for a couple of hours.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

He inadvertently left his cello in it's case outside on the friend's doorstep while he chatted with his friend inside.

A young man passing by on his bike saw the cello case outside the house. When he saw that there was nobody around, be quickly grabbed it and took off with it. When he was some distance away, he stopped to examine the contents of the case.

When he saw that it was a musical instrument he was so disappointed that he tossed it into a nearby garbage dumpster.

This young cyclist had no idea that this musical instrument, which is a cello is an extremely rare Stradivarius cello, and is valued at.... 3.5 million dollars!!!

3.5 Million and he had just thrown it away, where it sat amongst all the other heaps of rubbish.

When Peter Stumf found out that his priceless Stradivarius cello was lost, he was totally devastated.

Stradivarius instruments are extremely rare and priceless. They belong to the stringed instruments made by the Stradivari family in the 17th century. The best instruments were made by Master Craftman Antonio Stradivari between 1698-1720.

Back to our lost cello... a young woman passing by the garbage dump picked up Peter Stumf's cello and took it home. she of course had no clue as to it's value. She turned it around, examined it and thought of creative ways to use the cello.

She then struck on what to her was a brilliant idea... aha! she thought, she could bring it to her carpenter boyfriend and get him to cut it open, put tiny shelves in it, add some hinges so that it could open and close and use it as a CD Rack!!!

Thank God she discussed this with her friend who asked to see the cello. Following her instincts, her friend examined the cello closely and to their utter shock discovered it to be a priceless Stradivarius!

The friend recalled reading about this lost cello and ... happily this 3.5 million dollar cello was reunited with its owner.

I would like all of you to think into this story with me.
When we don't know the value of something, we could very well treat it as mere rubbish. Imagine treating a 3.5 million dollar cello as rubbish because WE DON'T KNOW.

What if we don't know OUR OWN VALUE? What if we were all 3.5mllion dollar Stradivarius cellos and WE DID NOT KNOW IT?

We could very well throw ourselves away in a rubbish heap! Or we could very well end up as a cheap CD Rack

The problem of not knowing our own value means we don't value ourselves. We don't value ourselves enough to do everything we can to bring out the very best in ourselves.

To bring out the most beautiful music from our very hearts, our minds and our souls... because WE ARE ALL THAT 3.5 million dollar cello!

Each of us have to know that we are all God's priceless creations.

And... you and I have within ourselves songs that need to be sung.

My friends, know yourselves, know your worth, know your value... so that we can all fill this world with the most exquisite melodies of lives fulfilled, of lives that have reached their full potential.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul

display: block;" width="202" height="295">Image via Wikipedia
I just feel that I want to share with you about hearing God and what I am going to say is only a very small part in a big thing. Yes we hear 3 voices, First - self, Second - Satan and Third - GOD. when we pray about something, the answer comes, but primarily our own will also come, then Satan will also say something THEN THE BIG ONE ALSO SAY SOMETHING.

Discern - this is the difficult part - to find out - to sieve through and find the answer that is from God and not our own will talking or Satan. Be still and ask God to show you to confirm to you which one is from HIM. through trial and error, through time, through experience, you will learn to know, to distinguish which idea or voice is from God. When I say three voices, I actually mean three ideas that will drop into your head as you pray or just after you prayed. For a smaller percentage of people, whom I think are so so favoured, they can actually hear God's voice. For most of us, I think it is the thoughts that are dropped into our heads.

This is one common way of hearing God. Every one is different. Some they "hear" God through their dreams and wonders that will appear to them .

We can pray for a specific way - ask God that I want to "hear" you through dreams and wonders, and it is entirely up to HIM which media HE wants to let us know of HIS answers.

It can also be from reading the BIBLE. Some of us is when you read, the words just jump up at you and at that moment you know (you will know somehow) that this verse is meant for you from God.

So please do not think that you cannot hear God, that you have a problem with hearing God, it is more , are you "seeing" or "hearing" correctly? God has always been there, saying, answering, but sometimes, we choose not to see or hear as it is not an option we want.

Obedience, trust, faith, all into one, we are such stubborn people, sometimes just being naughty we CHOOSE not to listen, not to follow, and follow only our own whims and fancy, that is also when we failed to "listen" .

<div style="margin-top: 10px; So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes Benz and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.

As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.'

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.

A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be... Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: 'You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.'

Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.

Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....

She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'

There is an old saying 'What goes around comes around.' Today I sent you this story, and I'm asking you to pass it on and pay it forward. Let this light shine.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/chickensoupforyourSoul
