Anybody who knows me knows that I'm a total "Gadget Chick". There only thing better than a gadget is but of course a new gadget lol. The gadget of choice today is cellphones...... Before I begin first things first *Here is my ~~story~~ disclaimer and I'm sticking to it, I have always been attracted to the more chic phones dating back to my startac (I'm soooo telling my age lol) and then came my next chic little gadget my hot pink razor and around the same time the sidekicks were the hot "toys"; but oh no I could'nt just have any old sidekick II. I had to have the Juicy Couture sidekickII in all its pink glory lol..... Somewhere along this journey there was a nextel or two which was not soo chic lol but in intrest of full disclosure.... Next came a samsung mda assistant with the slide out keybord very chic it was. Which brings me to my current device or should I say my current brand of device. I'm an apple girl now!!!!!! I was hooked from my very first generation apple iphone; then came the 3g, the 4, 4s, and currently using the 5. As a matter of fact just writing this post makes me feel like I'm cheating on my beloved iphone *almost a lil' shady of me dare I say lol* I say all this to say that I am a true gadget chick almost to the point that I get all excited and my palms start to twitch at the thought of getting my hands on new items lol and I have not been with another phone in 5 yrs. I have been happy for the most part with my iphones and the apple brand as a whole and have never swayed or even given a second look to any other devices since I've been in ~~bed~~ love with my apple device. Until now that is.......... This new gadget has my palms twitching and I think yes me the apple chick is seriously considering checking this new gadet out. Introducing the new......SAMSUNG GALAXY S4. Rihanna For Mac

MAC Cosmetics is known for its makeup partnerships, and the latest star to get her own line with the beauty brand is none other than Rihanna. I gotta say I absolutely love that RiRi has a Mac line and I will be making some purchases. It looks like Rihanna will produce four collections and will be known as a “creative partner” rather than a “collaborator”. The four RiRi [Hearts] MAC collections will be in stores this year. The first product, her signature lipstick, will launch May 4 to coincide with her Diamonds Tour concerts at the Barclays Center, where MAC will also open a pop-up shop. A summer collection will be sold online, while the fall collection will be in stores, and the holiday collection will, naturally, also be sold in stores. All I can say is Werk RiRi!!!!!!

So after watching many many many and more many lol tutorial on good ole' YouTube, I decided that I was finally ready to try a glitter lip *see example here*. Of course when I go into a store I can never just pick up the one thing I went look for so I ended up with the two pots of glitter in soft pink; one tube of baby lips (peppermint), and because I'm always do glitter on my nails on bottle of super glitterly silver nail polish. I will post pics of my results with my glitter lip trial and glittery mani. Until next time....

The First Lady was definately serving it up for the inauguration yesterday. As usual her sensible fashion sense took center stage with a touch of glam and a pop of color, and I loved every minute of it. Designer Thom Browne designed the coat/dress ensamble; J. Crew gets credit for the rhinestone belt, grey shoes, and fuscha gloves; and Designer Reed Krakoff takes credit for her cardigan and boots.

Oprah is rocking a natural fro on the cover of her September issue and it looks great! I'm sure there will be a lot of ~~controversy~~ buzz with her hairstyle choice as many people think that her hair is not natural, (meaning it is relaxed)... Either way as I stated she looks great which ever way she decides to wear her hair (Aunty Oprah can do no wrong in my eyes lol). In this September's "What I Know For Sure" column, Oprah tackles the hot topic of natural hair by opening up about her personal hair journey, rocking her hair natural on weekends/vacations and what role it plays in the expression of "self." You know Oprah always has to have an "Aha!" moment -- even when it comes to hair.

One of those moments came courtesy of funnyman Bill Cosby. Oprah writes about wanting to chop off all her hair and wear it super short like Camille Cosby, Bill's lovely wife. But she says she quickly abandoned the idea after Bill told her: "Don’t do it. You’ve got the wrong head shape and you’ll disappoint yourself."

Let me start off by saying that I'm such a huge fan of Anya Hindmarch. Her leather bags are classy and classic, But I really love her canvas collection. This collection can be used widely from schlepping groceries to beach bags. They are a littel costly for a canvas bag costing as much as $295.00 but I'm sure my chic bargin hunters will have no problem fnding them for cheaper on line at boutiques such as shopstyle.com

Nail Polish mini Haul

I went into the store over the weekend to pick up a few things and because I'm so easily sidetracked by pretty colors *check out my ombre* lol.... I digress as I was walking past the nail polishes I found myself quite smitten with the colors below and I just had to have them. So here is my mini haul from walmart at about $3.00 a bottle; the Maybeline Color Show Collection is a hit with me. You all should go check it out the colors are pretty and they have quite a few shades to explore. Stay tuned for a review.

Gelous Gel Topcoat Review

Before you get you next mani please read!!!!! How many times have you gone for a mani and it looks beautiful for all of 2 maybe 3 days. We chalk it up to a drawback of having natural nails *I know I know*. I recently tried the shellac mani and while it was beautiful and lasted I did not like the removal process at all. I kinda want to just go in and be out in 30 mins or less please. Well I recently was in Sally's and I found a gel top coat and *ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh* omigosh I love, love, love this stuff....... It's called American Classics Gelous Nail Gel. It supposed to make your mani last and it does just that. I am currently rocking a 6 day old mani with the help of this product *I will post a pic*. To be fair it is a light color so chips are hard to see but believe me the chipping is very minimal for day six on natural nails. I actually did the mani myself and I have this gel primer *which you can also find at Sally's*, that I applied first, then I applied a base coat of the Gelous and let it dry for about a minute, then I applied the first coat of my nail color which was Essie' Like Linen, next the second coat; and lastly the Gelous as a top coat. Let dry and bam you have a longer lasting mani. The removal is simply regular no acetone nail polish remover. You gotta try this!!!!!

For those of you who have been introduced to holly you know this scene and items well. Usually on weekends when I'm able to sleep in I channel Ms. Golightly. The Hubby just regards it as one of eccentricities lol *he gets me*. Go ahead and let your Holly flag fly, its fun and super cut e. I'm going to upload of pic of me in my glory lol.
