Although it was photographed by my friend, I did a little photo-styling and I know that he's going to hate me for this, but what the heck SO sue me ;þ. There is nothing as cool as posing in front of a spray painted penis. Graffiti, vandalism or whatever you may call it, I applaud the magnificent ART work. Seriously sarcastic. The inspiration of course; none other than Japanese harajuku style. Crazy colourful makeup and colourful outfit. I DIG COLOURS!

TURBAN AND MAXIS.

A full on outfit post as promised finally! I should be taking more of it since I have no more excuse to say "brrr it's cold outside" since winter is away. I have to say that this is how I would wear a 'crop top' none of that midriff tops that are a little too embarrassing for some people to wear, but then again that's what I would call confidence! Unless you really have something to show and you think you can pull it off, then you go girl! Go on and flaunt that thang!!! I've been uberly obsessed about turbans and maxi skirts. It's such a fun way to wear in summer.

I guess the secret is out my friends...My FASHION blogging began due to my love for all things Chic and Eclectic. Just a place to channel in all the inspirations I get from day to day. For a while now, I have kept it a secret from all my closest friends. I guess it was something I wanted to keep for myself, to post random fashion images, vanity of all kinds and things that I'm specifically interested in. Fashion blogs are like the NEW Fashion Magazines to me. I love getting inspiration from all over and not just by clothes alone, but with style living. It's nice to share my own take on fashioning the world. My style changes so often and I don't like to stick with one look. I like experimenting and having fun and trying out all sort's of looks even though some people might think it won't work out for me. I just hold my chin up high and walk it out with confidence. COATIGAN AND FLOPPY HAT.

Although it's sunny, it's still mildly cold out. I just had to wear one of my favourite purchases from last year. I call this knitted thick chunky sweater slash cardigan a "coatigan" because it serves as a coat and cardigan all at the same time. Isn't it fabulous? You can tell from my other previous outfit posts that I love oversized chunky sweaters. They're so comfy and perfect for our cold weather here in Winnipeg. Since I was in the mood for neutrals, I had to wear a chocolate floppy hat to go with this ensemble and the black satchel bag is just the cherry on top. I know that spring is near but I just can't stop buying knitted sweaters, I am obsessed with them!!...This past week have been so very busy, since I opened a new account with Etsy.com because I plan on selling a ton of preloved goodies, most of which are sitting in my closet. I have collected quite a few of this thrifted vintage stuff and I think it's time to share them with you guys. I am actually excited and nervous at the same time. I've been wanting to do this since the day I bought vintage goodies on EBAY. I'm happy to take the next step in my life to finally do something I love and get paid for it. So please stay tuned for the grand opening as I am still in the middle of organizing everything as far as the pictures, banners, logo, business cards etc etc. I can't wait!

ALL MAKEUP DONE BY ME.

I had a makeup blog called ~~fanzcy.blogspot.com~~ which I changed to ~~MarixelFanzcy.blogspot.com~~ last 2008. I also had a youtube account called ~~MarixelFanzcy~~ in which I uploaded videos of me babbling about makeup and such, doing random haulage and suggesting all kinds of cosmetics that work out and that I personally like. I was having so much problem with the blog itself, editing, deleting, adding etc, that I easily got tired of it. It's really too bad since I already had about 100 plus followers and my youtube account had 700 plus subscribers. It was a lot of fun and very time consuming. Having said that I "had" meaning I don't have that blog anymore nor do I still have a youtube account. I've deleted all of them since I think fashion is more me. It didn't even last a year tsk tsk. I still get inspired by anything means of art. I can still do makeup and I still love all kinds of cosmetics. Heck I still buy a lot of makeup junk, I have so many blushes and lipstick to last me a lifetime. I thought I'd post two favourite pics of mine. Makeup to me is like an art, a painting, only your painting on your face. I always say that makeup and fashion are supposed to be fun, there are no rules, just enjoy and be creative. Makeup is suppose to enhance your natural beauty, of course you don't want to be seen looking like a clown, insert-my-pic above. I did that look for a makeup contest, just for fun, it turned out rather artsy. Let me know if you like it. If I feel inspired to go crazy on makeup, I will for sure post another look, but for now I will fashion-away.

PEEK-A-BOO.

My nails and cuticles are driving me crazy, my hands are always so dry and it's painful to see how bad my cuticles are. Every winter is always like this. I keep forgetting to bring my holy grail cuticle magic wanderer which is LUSH "Lemony flutter" it's a cuticle butter and it works like no other. (WOW did I just rhymed?..lol) Anyhow it's amazing and if you guys want something to soothe your weak cuticles, go get yourself lemony flutter from LUSH COSMETICS, I promise you won't go back to regular cuticle cream. Such a NAIL dilemma.

BRRR IT'S COLD.

I took advantage of last Friday's beautiful weather and took my dog for a walk, he had fun just as much as I did. Picture Heavy. Normally I like posting one to four pictures per posts because I like my blog to look as minimalistic as possible. Not too overcrowded with such pictures that are too large or too small, or having too many ads all over the place (even though we bloggers get paid for those ads). Some blogs are way too overwhelming to browse at. Although everyone has their own unique style of blogging that attracts many people, this is just my own simple yet chic style. Since I am the owner, I can post whatever I want, but still keeping that minimal-clean-slate look. I'll try to post less pictures next time, I went crazy over this post...Btw that vintage sweater I'm wearing, I stole from my dad, heehee, it looks better on me than on him what do you think?

RED IS THE NEW BLACK.

A photo shoot collaboration with my friend, I call it "the colour of the apple." My face is looking a little sour haha because of the sun glaring at my face so please ignore that sour face. Styling and makeup done by me. I also posted a look of this on CHICTOPIA.COM. I had so much fun, as this was suppose to be inspired by Japanese style. Crazy colourful makeup, colourful outfit...Truth be told, it exactly resembles my extreme and colourful personality and if you personally know me, I am sure you would agree. I loved every minute of it...I just finished watching "Letter to Juliet" and I can't help but to tear just a little so I thought of watching another movie, "The Devil Wears Prada" a girl always loves her PRADA & CHANEL. YSL ARTY OVALE RING IN LAPIS CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM MY FIANCE.

This YSL Iconic Arty Oval Ring is so coveted and loved by many fashion bloggers and when I saw this beauty it was love at first glance. I was probably good this year because my fiance who spoils me to no end gave this to me on Christmas Eve. As you can see I couldn't wait to place it right beside my Engagement Ring as I will be wearing this two lovers together always...This should be my last post until New Years. I have so much errands to do and I am still in the process of figuring out what to wear for the big night. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and celebrate New Years Eve with a smile.

ALL ABOUT THE GREEN PARKA JACKET.

I found a nice white background, although I need more lighting. I am not satisfied with this, but it will have to do. My bangs are driving me crazy as I am growing it out, I look like a freaking grudge. My favourite part of this outfit are the jewelries of course! The Green Parka with the faux-fur is a must have for my closet. I just love all things parka.

LAZY DAY.

Today is lazy Saturday, you can see how lazy my sister's dog is. Winter makes me just want to curl up in bed with my dogs with a nice fleecy blanket and cuddling up with my man, *sigh* that sounds cozy. Hibernating is the perfect word. I miss autumn, I love the smell of fall and I love fall fashion, layering is a must. As much as I want to keep this day as lazy as possible it's unfortunate that I have to break from this lazy dream and wake up and go Christmas shopping. I am off to brave the city and fight those crazy shoppers. This is what I get for procrastinating.

NARCISSISTIC MOMENT.

I had imagine myself that this blogging thing is going to be difficult, running a full time job and all. The weather here in Winnipeg is ghastly. I dreamed of a personal photographer to take pics of me as I run about in this cold winter city, in which I call 'winter wonderland'. Phon my fiance doesn't have an interest for these things, he would gladly take my pictures but my dslr doesn't like working with him. So if you want everything to go right, you have to do them yourself...The weather drops down to extreme minus thirty. My toes would be frozen by the time I finish taking pictures outside. I need to find a place in my house with a white background (that's tough, my place is a chaotic mess) and I need to buy a tripod (all my pictures are taken by me). All in the sake of fashion blogging and with that said, please do join me, I promise you won't regret it.
