Couple John Prats and Isabel Oli Announce Birth of their Baby Girl.

Kapamilya actor-dancer John Prats and wife, actress Isabel Oli took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce that Isabel has finally given birth to a baby girl, whom they named Lily Feather. John shared with Boy Abunda that the name ‘Lily’ is Isabel’s grandmother’s name while ‘Feather’ meant the feeling of being light.

Isabel posted a photo of baby Feather’s foot with an information bracelet that says, “Prats, Girl of Maria Olivia Daytia,” and the date, “April 18, 2016.”

“Thankyou so much God ❤ #WeAreTheDynamites @iamjohnprats @featherprats �” she captioned the photo.

John and Isabel got married May of last year in two ceremonies. Four months later, on September 15, they announced that they are expecting their first baby.

Kapamilya Game Show 'Game ng Bayan' Is Set to Air its Final Episode this Friday.

Robin Padilla's "Game ng Bayan" is set to air its final episode on Friday, just a little over a month since its debut last March 7.

On Wednesday, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications Head Kane Ochoa released a statement announcing the end of the show's "limited run."

"We thank the hosts Robin Padilla, Alex Gonzaga, MJ Lastimosa, Eric Nicolas, and Negi, the whole production staff and crew, the various barangays that participated in the game, and most importantly, the viewers for their support to the program," Ochoa wrote.

"During its limited run, 'Game ng Bayan' brought fun and entertainment to Kapamilyas around the world and enabled residents in participating barangays to provide the resources they need in their communities by working together in time-bound challenges in the show."

"ABS-CBN, however, will continue to develop programs that will not only give viewers an enjoyable viewing experience but will also bring joy and cheers to barangays across the country."

"In the meantime, Robin Padilla will focus on 'Pilipinas Got Talent,' which has started its semi-final rounds. Alex, MJ, Eric, and Negi, meanwhile, will also attend to other projects," the statement concluded.

In recent days, "Game ng Bayan" has been lagging just behind its timeslot rival "Wowowin" in terms of nationwide ratings, according to data from Kantar Media. On Monday, it scored 10.2 percent compared to the Willie Revillame-led show's 12.7 percent.

In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer's Bandera, Padilla downplayed the rivalry between the two programs, saying his goal has always been to help his fellow Filipinos rather than compete for ratings.

"Tandaan mo instant money 'yun. 'Yung mga ganoon dapat sinusuportahan nating lahat. Sabi ko nga kay Ka Willie, ako nandito ako dahil sa tao lang," he was quoted in saying.

The conclusion of "Game ng Bayan" will pave the way for ABS-CBN's newest superhero series "My Super D," which will air before "TV Patrol" starting Monday. Melai Cantiveros and Pokwang's "We Will Survive" is expected to move to an earlier timeslot.

Dominic Ochoa: ‘Excited ako na makasama si Marvin (Agustin)’

Dominic Ochoa said that he is grateful for the opportunity to portray the role of a superhero in the upcoming ABS-CBN show My Super D.

“I am very thankful of course. It was an early Christmas gift for me because they told me about this before Christmas, napakagandang pamasko ito sa akin. Ayon nagpapasalamat ako na nag-umpisa na kami last Feb and we airing in how many days so siyempre masaya ako,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.

He added that what he is more excited about is the chance to impart good moral lessons to the viewers.

“I’m excited dahil maganda naman ‘yung aral na gusto namin iparating sa mga manood. I think that is the most important thing sa akin kaya excited ako. Dito I became a tool para mabigyang aral ang mga tao.”

What were his preparations for the role?

“It’s a learning stage, we didn’t have time to prepare. I had to lose weight a little and nagtra-training ako ng a little bit of martial arts and then mahirap po kasi ‘yung harness so it’s very important na I try to do ‘yun hangga’t makakayanan ko gaya kahapon buong araw naka-harness kami. I’m thankful na ‘yung mga kasama ko I worked with them already at napakadali katrabaho.”

Dominic reunites with his friend Marvin Agustin on the show. When asked what he feels working again with the actor after ten years, he replied,

“Kaya ako na-excite. I think the last time we worked together was 2003 or 2004 Whatta Men pa, bascially 10 years ago.” He quipped, “Wala namang pinagbago, kasi makunat pa rin siya (laughs) ganon pa rin naman ‘yun.”

He added that he is thankful that he gets to star on the same show again with Marvin.

“I’m thankful na nagkadugtong-dugtong, it’s a very light drama and comedy hindi naman sagad comedy kasi realistic ‘yung gusto nating mangyari sa katatawan nito so as much as possible we play for truth so yun. Excited ako na makasama si Marvin at hinihintay pa rin namin na manlibre siya ng siopao niya ang tagal na non eh,” he said.

Former PBB Housemate 'Hermes Bautista' wins Mister Philippines 2016.

Hermes Bautista of San Fernando, Pampanga was declared the overall winner of Mister Philippines 2016 at the finals night held April 14 at the Tanghalang Pasigueno in Pasi City.

The 30-year-old former Pinoy Big Brother housemate won the Mister Universe Philippines title and will represent the country at the Men Universe Model 2016 pageant to be held later this year in the Dominican Republic. He also won the Best in Swimwear and Best in Formal Wear awards.

Bulacan’s Mark Louie Bornilla was named Mister Global Philippines 2016. This 24-year-old student from Bulacan State University will be the first to compete among the winners as he will compete in Mister Global 2016 pageant to be held on May 6 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Nico Angelo Dela Paz of Marikina won the Mister Tourism Philippines 2016 title, while Ralph Otivar of Letye and Isaiah Thomas Anselmo of Calapan City finished first and second runners-up.

Joaquin Rudolfo Rosallosa Dresele and Hikari Sanshiro Arai were named Mister Global Teen Philippines and Mister Star Teen Philippines, respectively.

The rest of the 15 semifinalists were: Niel Oswald Ambrosia (Cauayan City), Jan Kristenze Quiambao (Baguio City), Julio Paolo Evina (Palawan), Julian Mari Lee (Urdaneta), Jeffrey Camus (Laguna), Ezra Usita (Nueva Ecija), Cristel John Rada (Dasmarinas) and Kyzer Brook Gewan (Cordillera).

Ngayong Mayo ay ipagdiriwang ni Julie ang kanyang 10th anniversary sa showbiz. Gaganapin din ang kanyang concert tatlong araw bago ang kanyang 22nd birthday. Sa Mayo rin ay nakatakda nang grumadate si Julie sa kursong Mass Communication kung saan siya ay running for honors.

“Marami pa pong pasabog na magaganap. Pasabog talaga siya. Well, may mga production numbers po ako with different people na naging part ng 10 years ko sa showbiz,” pahayag ni Julie sa panayam ng 24 Oras.

“I’m working on my thesis right now, so lahat ng pressure [ramdam ko]. And maraming mga requirements na kailangang ipasa,” paliwanag din niya.

Maliban sa kanyang anniversary, birthday, at graduation, sa Mayo rin ilalabas ang kanyang bagong album under GMA Records.

Sa sobrang abala, dedma na raw si Julie sa kanyang mga bashers. Tumanggi rin siyang pag-usapan ang kanyang love life.

“I always try na maging reserved palagi kasi syempre may private life pa rin naman ang bawat artista, so I think that people should you know, respect na lang,” aniya.

Actress Angelica Panganiban definitely had a good time pinch-hitting for Alex Gonzaga as co-host in ABS-CBNs new game show, Game ng Bayan.

On her Instagran account on Tuesday, Angelica expressed how much she enjoyed bonding with the people in a barangay and how happy she was that she was tapped to replace Alex who was busy that day.

"Napakasaya maki bonding sa mga ka barangay kanina 🤗 masayang masaya ako dahil busy ka,@cathygonzaga 👹 dahil nag enjoy talaga ko kanina."

Angelica added that she wants Gonzaga to get busier each day for her to always take the latter's place.

"Hinihiling ko, na maging mas busy ka pa. Para ako lagi ang papalit sayo."

But did Angelica go overboard when she said the production team of the show met and thought of the ways how to axe Alex from the show?

Transgender fitness model Benjamin Melzer, will appear as the cover model for the April issue of Germany’s Men’s Health magazine.

The 27-year-old says he began to transition at the age of 23 and says he couldn’t be happier with himself now that his outer and inner self are finally aligned.

Melzer tells Men’s Health that he wants to use his time in the spotlight to give hope to those living with gender dysphoria.

“When I was in that situation, I had nobody to talk to,” Melzer said. “I want to give the community a face, stand up and answer those questions for people.”

Jabbawockeez Fans Impressed the "Dance Kids" Judges with their Smooth Dance Moves.

A group of young Jabbawockeez fans impressed the "Dance Kids" judges with their smooth dance moves on Sunday's dance offs.

Gelo, Jahren and Uno, collectively known as Kiddowockeez, went against Maximum Groovers, composed of Marco, Lee, Deyniel, Ezekiel and Sunder.

The two groups danced to the tune of One Direction's "Drag Me Down."

"Sobrang adorable nitong dalawang group na ito. The whole time naka-smile ako, tuwang-tuwa ako sa performance niyo," professional dance instructor Georcelle Dapat-Sy told the two groups.

Dance expert Andy Alvis, for his part, said: "Alam niyo, nagpapasalamat ako kay Teacher G kasi kung natatandaan niyo, hindi kami nag-stomp pero kinonvince niya kami. Hinding-hindi ako nagsisisi, Kiddowockeez."

"Kayo naman, mga boys, sobrang galing. Complicated 'yung blocking ninyo, sabay sabay kayo, lahat kayo pogi, lahat kayo may personality. Bow ako sa inyo," he added, referring to Maximum Groovers.

"Una sa lahat, talaga namang ang kagwapuhan ninyo nagsisigawan. Kiddowockeez, thank you kasi sinunod niyo ang advice ko... Kayo naman, sa inyong lima, bukod sa kagwapuhan, 'yung costume niyo hindi nagpaiwan, at sabay sabay pa rin kayong lima," "It's Showtime" host Vhong Navarro said.

Kiddowockeez moved on to the next round after getting two "stomps" from Sy and Alvis. Maximum Groovers, on the other hand, got one "stomp" from Navarro.

The group previously caught the attention of the judges with their powerful dance moves during the auditions.

Kiddowockeez got the second to the last spot in the next round of the competition. Along with Dhao Mac Macasipot, the group completed the roster of contestants who will compete against each other in the "Step Up" round.

For the first time, actor Derek Ramsay introduced his girlfriend, model Joanne Villablanca, to his followers on Instagram.

On Friday, the 39-year-old "All You Need Is Pag-Ibig" star posted a photo of him with Villablanca while on vacation in Palawan. The caption read: "Thank you for everything. I hope you enjoyed as much as I did. Love you."

For her part, Villablanca revealed that Friday was their anniversary as a couple. She wrote as the accompanying caption to a photo of her with Ramsay: 'Happy New Year and Happy Anniversary Love!"

"Can't believe 2015 went by so fast. It wasn't the best year for us, yes. But I think the honeymoon stage is overrated anyway. 2016 will be our year. Love you," she added.

In an earlier interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Ramsay, who previously dated actresses Angelica Panganiban and Cristine Reyes, said that he wants his relationship with Villablanca to last.

"We enjoy each other's company and we're very much intrigued by each other —we want to know each other more," Ramsay shared. "She supports the things I do and seems genuinely interested in them. There's no pressure. And I love it."

Former Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali? actress Empress Schuck offered netizens a first glimpse of her baby with boyfriend Vino Guingona yesterday (June 15).

Empress posted the sonogram of her five-month old baby on Instagram which she called “little angel.”

Her beau, Vino is the grandchild of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr. and the nephew of incumbent Senator Teofisto Guingona III.

What’s more, the Kapuso actress seems to be planning an Avenger-themed baby shower too.

Several Kapuso stars have proved their excellence in acting and received recognition at the prestigious 38th Gawad Urian Awards.

Buena Familia star Martin del Rosario won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dagitab.

"The nomination was more than enough for me, pero 'yung ako ang nanalo, ibang klase 'yung feeling. Ang saya-saya!" He then thanked Gawad Urian and all his co-actors in the film.

"Thank you Lord! First time ko nanalo and ma-nominate," says the Kapuso actor.

Meanwhile, Let The Love Begin kontrabida Gladys Reyes won Best Supporting Actress for her role in Magkakabaung, beating several other Kapuso stars like Shamaine Buencamino of My Mother's Secret, Yagit's Alessandra de Rossi and The Half Sisters star Barbie Forteza.

And the biggest winner last night was The Half Sisters actress Eula Valdes, who won Best Actress for her role in Dagitab. She bested top-caliber actresses including the Superstar, Ms. Nora Aunor. Congratulations, Kapuso!

A new study from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston suggests that caffeine could reduce your likelihood of having erectile dysfunction (ED).

Researchers found that men over the age of 20 who consumed the caffeine equivalent of 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day were less likely to report ED issues than men who did not drink the stimulant.

NYPost adds:

The connection was strongest in overweight guys, says study author David Lopez, Dr.P.H., M.P.H., but he plans to dive further into how the caffeine/ED link can affect different weight groups.
Caffeine has properties similar to ED drugs like Viagra, says study coauthor Run Wang, M.D. The stimulant triggers a series of effects that cause the arteries in your penis to relax and your blood flow to increase—both keys to a strong erection.

Did You Know It Was Illegal For Men To Show A Nipple in Public in the 1930’S.

Up until the mid 1930’s it was illegal to publicly flaunt the male nipple in public.

Men were forced to wear nipple-covering swimsuits prior to 1936, when it became legal to expose nipples in New York state.

In the early 1930’s, a group of men gathered on Coney Island to fight for their right to swim and sunbathe in shirtless swim trunks.

In 1935, another group of brave male protesters got themselves arrested in Atlantic City for hitting the beach while baring their torsos.

Then in 1936, these men legally gained the right to show their nipples in public, laying the foundation for existing New York state laws that allow women to be topless wherever a man is legally allowed to be, Yahoo reports.

Today, women can still be charged with public indecency, disturbing the peace, or lewd behavior for going topless.

Louisiana specifies that “female breast nipples in any public place or place open to the public view with the intent of arousing sexual desire or which appeals to prurient interest or is patently offensive” can receive up to three-years in jail for a first-time offense and a $2500 fine.

Women in Delaware can be arrested if they expose their breasts “under circumstances that she knows her conduct will likely cause affront or alarm.” In Arizona, a woman can be arrested for indecent exposure if she exposes the areola or nipple of her breast if someone else is present.

Today, the #FreeTheNipple movement is gaining momentum, fighting a similar fight that men waged in the 1930’s to liberate their nips. The movement has garnered support from Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham, and Rumer Willis, among other celebrities.
