I like editing reels for friends and I am pretty good at it. The secret in cutting a good reel is music that you can cut to and the ability to group disparate elements together in a cohesive story. City Engine creates procedural cities by importing terrain of world cities. Parametric modeling of buildings and streets. Exporting of models to 3D packages. Expensive but very cool tool that will save a ton of time.

Looking to save ink? Here is a font that uses a fine pattern of dots that saves ink but makes it still readable How much of a letter can be removed while maintaining readability? Just finished the logo and working on the web site for the film 9-9-09. I am the digital VFX person for the creature feature involving alien worms that kill and control human beings I modeled the creature based on Richard Miranda's practical effects and rendered in mental ray using the HDRI I shot on set. Apparently this was a favorite at the Cannes Film Festival this year. I was wondering when the country who brought us Godzilla was going to bring us an Akira version of monsters invading a city. I have not seen the entire film but is it another satire on the aging large nuclear powers? I would not be surprised. Looking forward to it coming to the states.

Sci-fi Noir at its best, with an amazing rendering style that looks like animated woodblock prints. It takes ones full attention to concentrate on the plot and the visual rendering to discern what character is talking, where are they, and where did the invisible soldiers go. Worth more than one viewing just to be able to take it all in.

Edited Project Fear Trailer , even did the music and came up with the tagline - All you have to fear is .. yourself. The director gave me 2.5 minutes of footage which I cut down into a compelling trailer for urbanchillers and other sites. The film was shot on location on 2 islands in the Visayas.
