The 2012 Parent's Packet is designed to provide you with some of the basic information and policies about our team. The 2012 Swim Team Registration form allows you to register your child.

Please go to "Handy Forms" under Resources (on the left side of the Home page), click on the Swim Team folder to download these packets.

Fox and Coyote Sightings: Education/Warning

Coyotes and foxes have recently been seen in Chimney Springs. Cats and small dogs can easily become victims, especially to coyotes. Please use caution if leaving in your yard unattended.

An informative article about foxes and coyotes is featured in the November Newsletter (linked here) to help educate our residents on “Coexisting with the Other Canines”. It is hoped that you will read this article and find it helpful regarding these canines and their behavior.

Homeowner's Dues

The bills for the bi-annual regular homeowners’ dues of $270 will be mailed on or before July 1. Please remit your payment in a timely manner. Payment is due no later than July 31. If you do not receive a bill by Monday, July 12, please contact the Homeowners’ Office at (770) 992-5055. Also, please contact the Homeowners’ Office at office@chimney-springs.org should you wish to request a Hardship Payment Plan to facilitate your dues payments. Thank you for your continued support of our community.

Swim Team News - July

The Sharks have been swimming hard! Our first meet was against Post Oak on June 1. The Sharks came away winners with the final score being Chimney Springs 465, Post Oak 398.

The Sharks traveled to Chestnut Springs on June 8. While we faced tough competition, the meet was close and many swimmers posted best individual times. The final score was Chimney Springs 459, Chestnut Springs 475.

The Sharks will host Arbor Bridge on June 15, will travel to Pinecrest on June 22 and finish the season at home against Northampton on June 29. Look for the scores in the August newsletter.

The Cobb County Qualifying Meet is July 9-11 at Mt. View Aquatic Center. As in the past, we hope to have many swimmers qualifying for the Cobb County State Team which will compete in July at the GRPA State Meet.

Tournament Completed with No Rain in Sight!

Despite an ominous forecast, the 26th Annual Chimney Springs Memorial Charity Team Tennis Tournament (we’ve GOT to come up with a shorter name!) was played without a drop of rain falling. Fun was had by all, but the most fun was had by our winning team, “The Greenie Weenies”, whose members were Karen Farabaugh (captain), Daniel Abernathy, Sue Allocca, Ralph Christian, Dan Clark, Jenny Lang, Chris Lydon, Lori Martinez, Lisa Mishoe, Heardy Myers, Patrick Pelt and Lauren Waddilove. Congrats, all you Weenies!

Hello, registration for the new website has been open since we launched and today we have over 45 registered users on the new website. I encourage each of you to continue to sign up if you have not. We do have plans to start offering "owner only" content that is viewable by only registered users, but it is important to note that WE CURRENTLY DO NOT REQUIRE REGISTRATION to view any articles or other content right now. If you are in a rush to find the latest news, calendar of events or use one of our handy forms, you may do so without waiting on account approval.
