5 Natural Ways to get rid of Belly fat!

2016-01-14T00:40:00.001+00:00

The most harmful abdominal fat, the hardest one to get rid of. By cleansing your liver, helping normal

bile flow, reducing fat absorption into the fat cells, regulating your lipid and cholesterol metabolism. Prevents your blood vessels from forming atherosclerotic plaques.

This visceral fat in your middle makes toxins that affect the way your body works, says James Edwards, MD, president of the American Diabetes Association. Among them are chemicals called cytokines that boost your chances of heart disease and make your body less sensitive to insulin, which can bring on diabetes.Cytokines also cause inflammation, which can lead to certain cancers, says Eric Jacobs, PhD, a researcher at the American Cancer Society. In recent years, he says, scientists have uncovered links between belly fat and cancers of the colon, esophagus, and pancreas.

...Here Are 5 Steps To Change Things Up:

1. Skip the fruit juice. It might seem like a healthy swap for sugary colas, but it’s not. All the fat-reducing fiber in the fruit has been removed, leaving only the pure fruit sugars that go straight to your waistline.

2. Eat your veggies. They should fill up at least half your plate, especially at your biggest meal. Choose more nonstarchy varieties (think leafy greens, broccoli, and beans) than their carb-filled kin (potatoes, corn, and carrots).

3. Choose proper supplement. Claims vs. reality. Your choice should focus on product that is formulated with abdominal fat in mind. Ingredients such as Caralluma Fimbriata, Lychee Exctract, Green Tea, Irvingia gabonensis are those which have been proven by clinical studies as the most effective in the fight for the waistline.

4. Go natural. Processed foods are not your friends. When you’re in a rush, it’s easy to overlook the fact that packaged foods are often loaded with trans fats, sugar, and salt -- all guaranteed to boost belly fat.

5. Keep your cool. The stress hormone cortisol can override your diet and workouts. When it goes through your body, fat deposits relocate to your belly area. Exercise and meditation can both be great ways to dial down your stress to nontoxic levels.

I know it's not easy keeping to these steps but we just gotta try hard:) #teamflatbelly

Am Back!!! Living a Healthy Life....

2016-01-13T02:16:00.002+00:00

Hey Dolls and Gents, i know have been away for a minute (very very long time)...lol.

A lot has happened in the past 2 years. Work, studies, stress, DISTRACTIONS etc..phew!

Hey, guess what? am doing great and back to doing this again..lol.

I really do have passion for what i do however y'all will agree with me that at some point in

our busy lives, we all do need to prioritize what matters most!!

Right, am not gonna sit here and bore y'all with things you might not even care to know

about ..lol. So let's get started.

My first come back post is an exciting one, it has to do with living a healthy life and making it your life style. How healthy are you? Do you have a healthy diet? Do you exercise regularly? Do you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day? Do you get enough sleep every day?

Our body is our temple, and we need to take care of it to have a healthy life. Think of your body as your physical shell to take you through life. If you repeatedly abuse it with unhealthy food, your shell will wear out quickly. While you may look okay on the outside, on the inside, your arteries are getting clogged up with cholesterol and That’s not a pretty sight!

I have made living healthy my life style and i can tell you, its been an amazing transformation for me...

Here are few tips on living healthy;

1. Drink more water. Most of us actually don’t drink enough water every day. Water is essential for our body to function – Do you know over 60% of our body is made up of water? Water is needed to carry out our body functions, remove waste and carry nutrients and oxygen around our body. Since we lose water every day through urine, bowel movements, perspiration and breathing, we need to replenish our water intake

2 Get enough sleep. When you don’t rest well, you compensate by eating more. Usually it’s junk food. Get enough rest and you don’t need to snack to stay awake. Also, lack of sleep causes premature aging, and you wouldn’t want that.
3 Exercise. Not just a few times a week, but every day. Movement is life. Research has shown that exercising daily brings tremendous benefits to our health, including increase of life span, lowering of risk of diseases, higher bone density and weight loss. Increase activity in your life. Choose walking over transport for close distances. Climb the stairs instead of taking the lift. Join some aerobics classes. Take up a sport of your liking (see tip #5)
4 Pick exercises you enjoy. When you enjoy the sports, you’ll naturally want to do them. Exercise isn’t about suffering and pushing yourself; it’s about being healthy and having fun at the same time. Adding variation in your exercises will keep them interesting.
5. Work out different parts of your body. Don’t just do cardio exercises (such as jogging). Give your full body a proper work out. The easiest way is to engage in sports, since they work out different muscle groups. Popular sports include basketball, football, swimming, tennis, squash, badminton, frisbee, and more...
6. Eat more fruits. Fruits are a plethora of vitamins and minerals. Do you know that oranges offer more health benefits than Vitamin C pills? Taking in synthetic supplements are not the same as consuming the foods direct from nature. Fill your palate with these 10 most nutritious fruits: Watermelon, Apricots, Avocado, Apple, Cantaloupe, Grapefruit, Kiwi, Guava, Papaya, Strawberries.

I hope some of you will find the above tips really helpful....Stay healthy!!!

It's Prince GEORGE ALEXANDER LOUIS of Cambridge! Kate and William proudly announce the name of their baby boy

2013-07-24T22:02:00.001+01:00

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have this evening revealed that their son - now the third in line to the throne - will be called George.

Kensington Palace revealed the baby's full name will be George Alexander Louis. William and Kate's baby will be known as Prince George and as third in line to the throne will one day be king.

Kensington Palace said in a short statement: 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis.

'The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.'

By naming their son George - which is synonymous with British kings - it looks like the couple have followed tradition. However, royal sources say the baby's names are not supposed to be symbolic but that the couple genuinely like them.

2013-05-22T21:53:00.003+01:00

A man reported to be a serving soldier has been hacked to death in Woolwich, south east London, in what is being treated as a terrorist attack.

Dozens of weapons - including a number of knives - and pools of blood could be seen on the ground in John Wilson Street, where a man said to be wearing a Help for Heroes T-shirt was attacked by two men.

Witnesses say the pair appeared to deliberately drive their car at the victim, before getting out with various bladed weapons and launching their attack.

As the victim lay motionless in the middle of the road, witnesses say they heard the pair chanting "Allahu akbar" - and inviting passers-by to take photographs of them.

As soon as armed police arrived at the scene, witnesses say at least one of the alleged attackers began approaching the officers - who opened fire and shot the pair. The men were taken to separate hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Prime Minister David Cameron described the incident as "shocking and horrifying" and said there were "strong indications that it is a terrorist incident"

D’Banj Signs Durella To DB Records

2013-05-22T19:14:00.000+01:00

D’banj‘s quest for dominance in the Nigerian music scene won’t stop now; he might have lost out on signing Olamide and Davido – but he has nicked another artiste, this time a familiar friend-foe.

The self-proclaimed ‘African Michael Jacskon‘, we’ve learnt has signed his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known to the public as Durella.

The move might however not come as a surprise to everyone, considering that Banger Lee (that’s D’banj’s new nickname by the way) and the ‘King of the Zanga’ Durella recently settled their differences. Some weeks back, D’banj and his DB Records crew released a single ‘Ibadi e‘ off their compilation album (D’ King’s Men) which featured a verse from Durella.

Fans were very excited to see the pair had reunited after a very long and well publicized fall out between the pop.

Congrats guys!

The Scotsman secured his 13th Premier League title with Manchester United two weeks ago and is the most successful manager in British football history.

Former Nigerian On-Air Personality Yinka Olonode commits Suicide in the United States of America

2013-05-06T21:23:00.001+01:00

Yinka Olonode got his big break on Cool FM in 2002 while hosting a show called “Get a Grip“. The on-air personality also featured as a model in a commercial for telecoms giant MTN during that time.

On the 29th of April 2013, Yinka’s journey came to a tragic end when he reportedly committed suicide.

Oregon Live Online reports

“The Multnomah County Medical’s Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died after jumping from the rooftop restaurant of a downtown Portland hotel Monday.
Yinka Olonode, 34, of Portland, fell about 6:30 p.m. from the 15th floor of The Nines hotel at 525 S.W. Morrison St., where Departure Restaurant and Lounge is located.
The death temporarily shut down MAX service in the area. A motive has not been identified and no one else was injured.“

Based on news reports, Yinka’s journey in the US had been rocky up to this point. ICE was contacted and placed Olonode into custody.“

the man deemed ‘too handsome’ and deported from Saudi Arabia

2013-04-27T21:49:00.004+01:00

Three men from United Arab Emirates were attending the Jenadrivah Heritage & Culture Festival in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. They were forcibly evicted from the festival by Saudi police officers. The grounds for this harsh move? The visitors were too handsome.

“A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them,” a Saudi Arabian newspaper Elaph reported.

After evicting them, the police immediately deported the trio back to Abu Dhabi, lest any Saudi women see them and find them too irresistible to not fall in love.
