Pay scale and allowance: Pay scale of PB-3:-Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- p.m.

According to the News First day Web counseling Over 18,000 give options for B.Tech and B.pharmacy . The webcounselling process for admissions in engineering colleges started on sunday and about 18,700 students choose to give options of their choice of courses and colleges on the first day.

As of now 678 engineering colleges have been included in the webcounselling apart from 261 pharmacy colleges. The total number of seats available in all the engineering and pharmacy colleges are 3,18,686 while in the convener quota 2,14,689 seats were available. The ECE stream has the highest number of seats 76,500 followed by Computer Science Engineering (64,920).
