Decode yourself

2015-11-14T04:00:00.000-08:00

Remember to be kind and positive about things. Appreciate what you have instead of looking at what you don't have and eventually you'll be blessed. It's okay to be sad and cry sometimes but don't let it get over you and be aware of your strengths.

Often we focus too much on how to overcome our weaknesses and do not acknowledge the strengths we got within us. Not to say we should be proud of it but rather to leverage on it and make ourselves a better person.

We might not be able to change the world but we can do small things in a great way =)

Stay awesome people!

Quick Escape

2015-11-13T04:30:00.001-08:00

It's been awhile since the last Malacca trip (last year) I guess. Last minute plan to have a day food hunt at our 'Second Home'. We were feeling nostalgia most of the time and so many flash back.

But the weather wasn't good and raining most of the time hence island hopping is definitely out :/

Our first meal starts as early as 7am! Since is Sunday, for sure we're heading to Gaya street for Yee Fung laksa/beef noodles. Something you can't get in KL is the Teh Maderas which always taste better than teh tarik :D

After breakie, decided to go to Kundasang and positive that the rain might stop :P

Unfortunately it was still raining when we got up there and it was super duper cold!

So we had milk and some sausages.

We love our pink rain coats :3

So drama

Will definitely come here again

Little throwbacks on the previous trip we had when we're still studying and this is how this place suppose to look like when the weather is good

Awesome right? =)

Then we drop by for yummy coconut pudding

Crave fixed!

Then we thought of going to sunset bar for a drink cause usually they will have nice jazz live band there but apparently it was closed that day.

The GSC

Nowadays because of work, you didn't really get much time to meet up with friends compared to last time where you will be seeing them like almost everyday. Sometimes having a short random escape like this is indeed nice =)

I'm feeling blessed that having great people around me that motivate you and eventually make you a better person. Real friends like this is hard to gain and if you have them, please treasure and appreciate them. Love you bitches!

Yours truly~

Ladies Short Escape

2014-07-25T09:03:00.000-07:00

I can't recall when was the last time I logged in my blog and now I totally agree with words people usually telling me when they started work. Sometime is difficult to balance things as well as your routines too :/

Haven't been going out for a short trip (not work related) for quite some time and finally have made up my mind to have the first short escape of the year (i know is July now.. sob sob) with the ladies to Melacca :) Is like after so long we have been saying about it ><

We arrived there around 11am and decided to have chicken rice ball for our brunch followed by some window shopping

was quite lucky cause the queue was super long after that

The weather was really hot and we stopped by a cafe to grab some drinks. Coffee there tastes good too :)

Missy Elaine

At some point we felt sleepy and decided to check-in, freshen up and most importantly POWER NAP!!

You don't have to guess, this is our Ms Elaine :P

Surprisingly Elaine's 'Uncle' pops up too in the evening

At night, the must for place would be the night market at Jonker Street too and again it took us some time to think what to eat. Then, we decided to try nyonya cuisine near there and food was good too :)

After feeding ourselves with awesome food, we did shopping at the night market and head to Hard Rock Cafe for music :)

Day 2

Jonker 88 for brunch :)

Flora print day

Baba laksa, my favorite!!

and Cendol too :3

Alongside

Oppsss

hey woman, look at here!

there you go :)

So that's our little escape~ *signing off*

Night peeps!!

#Throwback

2013-07-18T07:52:00.000-07:00

It's been really really long time ago since my last login, getting lazier nowadays >< Always wish to lay on my bed for all day long. Really miss those uni moment where you are just so energetic in doing anything even for no reason sometime, your silly friends that fools around with you . . . Time flies and everyone is working right now and you wouldn't believe that is so difficult to meet every at a moment.

#Throwback

Were browsing some of my old folder and come across the album of our Bali trip last time. There are soooo many pictures and videos as well. So I decide to edit those random video taken by my lizard partner - Ms Bell Bell~ Those videos are random enough and some with funny conversation. It took me some time to arrange it too...

That's all for tonight! Good night peeps!

Chloe

Priority

2012-09-25T03:50:00.000-07:00

Sometime, doing 'what you should do' and 'what you like to do' both can be the same or different because it all depends on what situation you are it. In some situation, you got no choice but to do what you should do and this is when your sense of responsibilities are tested. In other words, it's about priority that you put within yourself.

For sure there is always things that we love to do but sometime we need to see whether have we full fill our responsibility. I always believe that things happen for reason and most of the time is because of the decision that we have made. Most of the things are within your controls. Just that do we really realize what are we doing and looking into it. Problem occurs may be out of our control but if the same problem occur over and over again than we really have to think about it. #self-reflect

Wamssler - "A Taste of Gold'

2012-09-20T04:46:00.000-07:00

When come to wine, we always heard of red wine or white wine that commonly can be found in the market which fermented from grapes. But there also other types of wine which called honey wine and for sure it's fermented from honey. Discover this wine when I went to the Hot Import Nights in Penang and I personally do like this wine which is Wamssler mead which is purely fermented from honey without any sugar =) We all know that honey contain high level of anti-oxidant and is always the main ingredient when come to beauty or health care product.

So when Anna told me that it's made of honey, I was so curious and love the taste after give a try on it. I would say it's delicious and the aroma of honey lingers in my mouth~ I do ask her why they call it "The Drink of Love" and then only I know that it has its history as well where back to the medieval days, the father in law will give the honey wine to the newly married couple for 1 full moon so that they will give birth for a baby boy where last time they don't have month but call it as moon. That's why people call it honey moon. Hence, honey came before grape wine.

-Wammsler Sparkling Mead-

Did a short interview with Anna - the managing director of Wammsler in Malaysia and listen to the interesting history and stories about the honey wine.

Wamssler Mead "Q&A

Should give a try if you never, who knows you might like it as well like I do~ Cheers!

Good or Bad, You Decide.

2012-05-11T04:36:00.002-07:00

Hey everyone!! Our video is done and here you go.. "Good or bad, you decide." Is our first time doing this video together and we are looking forward for your comments so that we can improve. Generally most of our friends said that don't really see how technology link with friendship.. hmm... think we really need to look into that.

Anyway, still happy that we manage to finish it before the due date for Kota Kinabalu International Firm Festival 2012. The main reason that drive us doing this video because we want to have something which is meaningful for us after we leave our uni, just want to capture the moment we had and share our stories =)

How TryandSee exist??

At first we don't even have a name where Veron just open a secret group for us with the name of "Try Try See See"..Hahaha... yea! that's the intention we have that time to try to make a short firm and to take part in KKIF 2012.

Hope you guys enjoy the video and feel free to tell us your opinion as we all are still learning and wish to improve.

Cheers!!

Time passes fast and this should be my last time to attend my course family day and annual dinner.. This time they make it 2 in 1 where they combine it both and make it at Beringgis Beach Resort which approximately half an hour from KK.Went there by bus and unfortunately the bus driver was known as "roller coaster" driver in Kampung E,swing all the way to the resort after 1 hour plus of waiting *dizzy*

#Holo-Holo Summer

Sabah Tea Garden, Ranau

2012-03-27T07:07:00.002-07:00

Went for a 2D1N education trip to Sabah Tea Garden at Ranau. It's a relaxing trip and is my first time to this tea garden. Depart from uni around 10am after everyone has take their attendance. Then we stop by Nabalu which is one of the spot to take picture with the Mount Kinabalu view.

Cas, Ci Yi, me and Lee Xin

Cas with Pan Xue

Pan Xue and Jully

haha.. Fuad look so pity..

Then continue our journey till Ranau town and have our lunch there. It's a small town and not much shop open maybe because it's Sunday. Walking around to look for food and finally found a chineses rtaurant and order some dishes. When the dishes are here and cas is asking for cili padi, guess what the aunty answer?? "We din't buy cili padi, it's too expensive, RM 36 per kilo" haha... She is so straight forward, cause normally people will just tell you don't have and that moment we were thinking like what expression should we give, so random...

We are getting nearer to the destination and we reach the tea garden around 3 something. We are staying in the long house. I use to see long house in the book or pictures from the others and this is my first time to stay in long house. Not bad =)

let's get in and have a look =) *excited*

the long house

simple yet nice decoration

3 persons sharing a room, the room is so cute

Walk around the place and snap some picture of the scenery after we setle down.

"welcome to long house"

the ladies are here too =D

Other than long house, there are also cottages for rent and it look lovely too <3

side view

the front view of the cottage

well, this is Cas's idea XD i like

bought this thing while stop by at Nabalu town, epic!!

We play some "interesting" games after we have our dinner and we will be visiting the Sabah Tea Garden next day. =)

The Sabah Tea Garden

They brief us on how they process the tea before going into the production side.

shows us how to differentiate the tea

they have their own collection of tea =)

The next thing is to check-out after visiting the tea garden and heading to Sg Moroli for fish massage. It's my first time to try the fish massage. Before listening to the briefing, what in my mind is the normal fish massage at those spa center where the fishes are as small as finger. But guess what?! the fishes here for massage are are big as our hand!! =S

It took me quite some time to step inside the river because the fishes are freaking big and you must try it yourself. The feeling is undesirables~ you can hear the voice of the fishes sucking your hands and legs loudly!

Done with the fish foot massage and is time to go back~ stop by Kundasang for a quick lunch and heading back to ums. This is my companion when I'm in the bus. =))

My course Family Day and dinner at Beringgis Resort are coming soon, hope it will be a great one =)

I would like to announce that my holiday starts now!! Enjoy your holiday people and Happy Dragon Year!!!

Island escape

2012-01-03T02:38:00.000-08:00

Since mr boyfriend is here so we decided to go to Manukan island after few days of rainy days and finally today is a good weather for island escape with my "photographer". Reach Jessleton Point at noon so only manage to go to one island.

Here we go!! But the tone of the sea was not really nice compare with last time, maybe is due to the weather . Anyway, still a relaxing day for me =) will go again after my exam perhaps?

Thank you Mr Bf for the photos - my photographer of the day.. hehe~

spotted a pair of cute & lovely bro-sis

Is time to go! and we actually miss the boat, they just leave before time =___= end up need to wait for another 1 hour and is about to rain that time~

2011-11-04T08:26:00.000-07:00

Do you guys still remember about the usb lomo camera that i posted before? There's a double exposure effect in this camera and i don't really know how t change to mode to this effect. But finally i know how to use it a couple of days ago and still figure out how to capture a good double exposure pic.

These are the double exposure effects and as you can see there will be 2 layers of images in the pic. There will be a shade of the first image that you've captured when you want to capture the second layer of the image =]
