We just got back from vacationing in the Smokey Mountains and what do I find…my site has been hijacked! Thanks to my daughter, Erin, for notifying me of the problem.

I was unable to delete the added files of gibberish and foul language and wound up terminating the entire site and reinstalling it. Needless to say, I lost several years of posts today. I’ve been commenting on health products and research news for a number of years now and it’s all gone.

This wasn’t the only site I have that was hacked into, but it is the only one I could not recover.

Lessons learned the hard way: When your hosting company recommends better passwords, they really mean it. This time I used the password generator and now my passwords look like nonsense. I’m also changing all my passwords on any sites I have to prevent this in the future.

The second thing I learned is to turn on the wordpress backup and actually have it sent to a working email address not associated with this website.

I’ll try to reconstruct some of my posts and get this health review and report site back up and running again. If you have any requests for reviews, just fill out the contact form and I’ll get it.

Vitamin D deficiency is now linked to chronic pain conditions according to Stewart Leavitt, editor of Pain Treatment Topics. He looked at more than 20 clinical investigations of chronic pain and fatigue conditions and found that most everyone had inadequate levels of Vitamin D. Surprisingly, when the participants were given Vitamin D, their aches, pains and weaknesses were helped or relieved.

Our bodies use Vitamin D to benefit bones, muscles and nerves. In children, vitamin D deficiency causes rickets, which results in skeletal deformities. In adults, vitamin D deficiency can lead to osteomalacia, causing muscular weakness in addition to weak bones.

Our bodies will naturally produce Vitamin D with exposure to sunlight. Today, many of us work inside which limits our time outdoors. Vitamin D is found in few foods. Milk and breakfast cereals are usually fortified with it.

Leavitt states that the current recommended daily intake of Vitamin D should be increased from 600 IU per day to at least 1000 IU per day. He also recommends that chronic musculoskeletal pain sufferers would benefit from 2000 IU or more per day of Vitamin D3 (also called cholecalciferol).

Leavitt’s report, “Vitamin D, A Neglected ‘Analgesic’ for Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain” concludes that adding Vitamin D Supplements could help with chronic musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorders, and should be considered early in the course of pain management.

Just so you know, Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin. It’s not considered harmful unless you take it in extremely high doses, such as over 50,000 IU or more a day. It’s inexpensive and easy to take. I think I’d talk with my doctor about including 2000 IU’s of Vitamin D to help with my pain management.

In Fat Loss 4 Idiots you can learn the “10 Idiot proof rules” of dieting and fat loss. You can stop using low carb diets. You can stop using low calorie diets and you can stop using low fat diets. Now you can download their brand new accelerated fat loss diet.

They claim you can lose 9 lbs. Every 11 days!

Even you’ve gotten overweight by eating the wrong foods, you can get slim by eating the right foods at the right times each day. It has nothing to do with starving yourself or even jogging.

You know what doesn’t work – low calorie, low carb and low fat diets. Fat Loss 4 Idiots promises to show what does work. Their eating system is so unique you’ll get noticeably thinner in the mirror in as little as 11 days.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots talks about calorie shifting. You’ll be eating different types of calories each day to force a faster fat loss. There’s another thing called fat burning compatible. They even have an on-line diet generator, which will give you the right daily menu for each day. That’s why it’s called the Idiot Proof Diet.

I’ve purchased this plan over a year ago, and when I follow it, it works! I lose weight quickly and easily. If you need to lose weight fast, this is a decent plan, and you don’t have to go out and buy all sorts of special foods for it. I just used what I normally buy and had in the house, but planned and ate my meals a bit differently. They spell it all out in their book.

I’ve lost weight with this eating plan and now you can too: Get it here – Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Kinesiologist Shola Oslo has written a book on how to shrink uterine fibroids fast called The Fibroid Cure. If you have been diagnosed with fibroids and are unsatisfied with the options your doctor has given you, then you will want to read about Oslo’s recommendation on shrinking your uterine fibroids.

Her book, The Fibroid Cure teaches you which natural remedies are the most powerful against fibroids and how to use herbal remedies to tackle the root cause of them. There are many testimonials on her site of women who have taken her advice and used it to eliminate their fibroids.

Oslo has an action plan of 7 steps to becoming free of fibroids. These are valuable for anyone who has decided to take control of their health and their body. She claims the remedies apply whether you’ve just been diagnosed, have had fibroids for 30-40 years or anywhere in between.

The Fibroid Cure includes information on:

how to reduce menstrual pain

how you can stop heavy bleeding

strategies to aide painful intercourse

what foods can help to shrink uterine fibroids

which foods seem to aggravate uterine fibroids and much more….

Olso discusses foods and supplements that can help with your fibroid problems and common household substances that sabotage your health. Then she tells you the herbal remedies that shrink fibroids and cure them at the root cause.

My thoughts on this – if you have fibroids and want to avoid surgery – which I would want. . . then you will want to read this valuable resource: The Fibroid Cure
