OH MY GOSH! Amanda and I are so excited to announce we are expecting our second child later this year!

Tentatively named Little Monc 2, we are actively preparing for his/her arrival by cleaning out our spare bedroom and making it their room! So exciting!

Eliana is going to make a wonderful big sister.

After a beautiful ceremony we made our way to Sea Palms Resort for the reception. As a surprise to the guests the typical father-daughter dance was replaced by a father-daughters “concert” preforming Man of Constant Sorrows from the movie Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?. (Hence the beards)

The sessions were in Brunswick at the College of Coastal Georgia gym and Darien at the waterfront.

Bradi + Alan’s engagement session was on St Simons Island in the village near the pier. Their wedding was to be only a few blocks away at the AW Jones Heritage Center and Lighthouse, so we kept the coastal theme by staying close. They even brought along their cavapoo puppy who also made an appearance in their wedding.

We drove up to Richmond Hill, GA to meet the Ospinas at the great piece of land on the river. You can see the photographer in her came out with the perfect outfits that go together and fit a common theme but without looking like matchy uniforms. We LOVE that!

After romping through the grass and playing on the old buildings making some great images, we ended (as is my usual theme) with some great sunset photos as it set over the river. I think those are my favorites!

This senior portrait session was in downtown Darien and planned to take advantage of the awesome sunsets you can see from there. Mission accomplished!

The field and the setting sun worked perfectly together during their family portraits session and I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. They were all just plain fun!

 

 

 

 

 

After the wedding ceremony we hopped in a 1970 Rolls Royce Shadow to head to Jekyll Island for their wedding reception at Crane Cottage at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. Mine and Amanda’s favorite part was the way they mixed traditions of the north and the south, mainly hers from Atlanta and his from Boston. The bride and groom said their vows at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica on St Simons Island, GA. Throughout the day I was constantly amazed at the details and depth of this wedding. Every piece fit together perfectly.

We’re finally catching up after the craziness that is being a photographer in a vacation town. And after shooting 33 of our 36 weddings this year we actually have time to share them with you! Expect to see more as we near year end.

We’ve also been taking a little more time off since having our little girl Eliana. She is growing so big! Isn’t she cute?!

As always, they arrived with perfect outfits at the perfect location we decided on. This time a cotton field near their new home in Statesboro, GA. We could see harvesters in another cotton field across the way. This crop was ready for the harvest and for pictures!
