What people need to realize is that staying active and eating right are critical for long-term health and wellness -- and that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The more you know about how your body responds to your lifestyle choices, the better you can customize a nutrition and exercise plan that is right for you. When you eat well, increase your level of physical activity, and exercise at the proper intensity, you are informing your body that you want to burn a substantial amount of fuel. This translates to burning fat more efficiently for energy.&lt;br /&gt;In other words, proper eating habits plus exercise equals fast metabolism, which, in turn gives you more energy throughout the day and allows you to do more physical work with less effort.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The true purpose of exercise is to send a repetitive message to the body asking for improvement in metabolism, strength, aerobic capacity and overall fitness and health. Each time you exercise, your body responds by upgrading its capabilities to burn fat throughout the day and night, Exercise doesn't have to be intense to work for you, but it does need to be consistent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I recommend engaging in regular cardiovascular exercise four times per week for 20 to 30 minutes per session, and resistance training four times per week for 20 to 25 minutes per session. This balanced approach provides a one-two punch, incorporating aerobic exercise to burn fat and deliver more oxygen, and resistance training to increase lean body mass and burn more calories around the block.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's a sample exercise program that may work for you:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Warm Up -- seven to eight minutes of light aerobic activity intended to increase blood flow and lubricate and warm-up your tendons and joints.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Resistance Training -- Train all major muscle groups. One to two sets of each exercise. Rest 45 seconds between sets.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Aerobic Exercise -- Pick two favorite activities, they could be jogging, rowing, biking or cross-country skiing, whatever fits your lifestyle. Perform 12 to 15 minutes of the first activity and continue with 10 minutes of the second activity. Cool down during the last five minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Stretching -- Wrap up your exercise session by stretching, breathing deeply, relaxing and meditating.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When starting an exercise program, it is important to have realistic expectations. Depending on your initial fitness level, you should expect the following changes early on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* From one to eight weeks -- Feel better and have more energy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* From two to six months -- Lose size and inches while becoming leaner. Clothes begin to fit more loosely. You are gaining muscle and losing fat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* After six months -- Start losing weight quite rapidly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once you make the commitment to exercise several times a week, don't stop there. You should also change your diet and/or eating habits,' says Zwiefel. Counting calories or calculating grams and percentages for certain nutrients is impractical. Instead, I suggest these easy-to-follow guidelines:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Eat several small meals (optimally four) and a couple of small snacks throughout the day&lt;br /&gt;* Make sure every meal is balanced -- incorporate palm-sized proteins like lean meats, fish, egg whites and dairy products, fist-sized portions of complex carbohydrates like whole-wheat bread and pasta, wild rice, multigrain cereal and potatoes, and fist-sized portions of vegetable and fruits&lt;br /&gt;* Limit your fat intake to only what's necessary for adequate flavor&lt;br /&gt;* Drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water throughout the day&lt;br /&gt;* I also recommend that you take a multi-vitamin each day to ensure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I suppose that's all I can think of for now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Make it a great day!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chris Walker&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kitchener's Weight Loss expert!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chris Walker has helped thousands obtain " permanent weight loss, quick and easy everytime!" The type, intensity, frequency, and duration of a “dose” of exercise are all critical. One person’s healthy, vigorous workout could be hazardous to another. These dangers may be greater in pregnant women because they are more likely to have strains and other serious side effects for the would-be mother.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, if exercise will be implemented and carried out in a normal, average range, exercise will not have an effect on the overall condition of the pregnancy and especially on labor or delivery.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pregnancy&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quality prenatal care should be given to a mother during her pregnancy. She should be prepared for the normal delivery of a healthy baby. Complications should be prevented at all costs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All of these things are boiled down to the fact that a pregnant woman should be cared in such a way that she will not be compelled to do vigorous work but should not also stay in bed and be inactive until she gives birth to her baby.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Consequently, a pregnant woman’s condition varies in relation to the growth and development of the baby in side her womb. Therefore, it is necessary that proper health guidance be provided by her physician during her visit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Moreover, it is important to keep the pregnant woman’s life active in order to promote good health, not only for her but also for the baby most importantly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Physical conditions like blood pressure, weight and health status is usually monitored during the pregnant woman’s visit to her doctor. For this reason, it is significant to note that exercise can be the number one factor in order to keep these aspects in good condition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As the health experts contend, adequate physical and emotional information is needed by a pregnant woman to prepare herself for delivery. She needs practical health messages in keeping herself and the baby healthy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hence, for mothers or would-be mothers who are not yet aware why they should exert some effort in engaging into moderate, normal exercise, here is a list of some of its benefits so that you will be able to understand the reason why pregnant women have to exercise regularly:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Defiance against fatigue&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As muscle becomes fatigued, it produces less force. To accomplish a task like climbing the stairs, for example, or shoveling snow, more units of muscle must be called into play to back up the wearied muscles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The tired muscles are both less efficient and less effective. Hence, this will just put more strain on the pregnant woman because of the weight that is continuously adding up each day. That is why tired muscles will usually result to leg cramps or sore muscles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What every pregnant woman must know is that exercise improves the condition of the muscles and their ability to work longer without fatigue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Reduce backaches&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even when you sit or stand, some muscles are working, and such relatively easy postures can tax some muscles and cause fatigue. The muscles of the lower back, for example, can be exhausted and worn out by the effort of keeping erect when a pregnant woman stand still for several hours.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With exercise, a pregnant woman can correct this error by developing her posture.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Increase the amount of oxygen&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Work and exercise rely on glycogen, a substance produced by the body from complex carbohydrates and stored muscles and liver. The supply of glycogen in the muscles determines and limits the duration of activity. Exercise depletes the glycogen in the muscles and leads to tiredness.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, when glycogen is depleted by strenuous activity, it is replaced in quantities greater than before, as if the body recognized the need to lay in a larger supply of fuel.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hence, oxidation is essential for converting glycogen to the energy that pregnant women need to wiggle a finger, flex a muscle, or practice the lungs and heart for some blowing action during normal delivery.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These are just some of the many benefits exercise can bring to pregnant women. Besides, nothing is completely wrong for a pregnant woman doing some moderate exercises. The only important thing to remember is that before starting an exercise program, whether pregnant or not, it is best to consult your doctor. It comes in three impressions: clairvoyance or "the third eye", sensing clearly and feeling through listening.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Clairvoyance is when your eye goes beyond what it can see. This is when you know what is happening somewhere.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sensing clearly is basically what we refer to as "hunch" or "gut feel." This is the time when you are overwhelmed with a feeling and you can't explain it and all you can say is "I just know."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the other hand, feeling through listening or clairaudience is being able to "listen" between the lines. Intuition also happens at times when a certain sound, whatever it is - be it a car's honk or a bird's twitting - ushers in an intense feeling.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They say only a number of people are gifted with intuition. Astrologers even insist that people born under the Scorpio or Pisces signs are naturally intuitive it almost borders on E.S.P. But studies have been sprouting left and right that proclaim that anyone can develop intuition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why the need to develop intuition, you ask? Why not let your emotional and psychological state as it is? First and foremost, intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are intuitive enough to understand them. Intuition also makes you far more creative than ever. Intuition means releasing more creative juices for any means of expression. Lastly, intuition has a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but in delving deep into your soul to eradicate some negative energy buried in it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With that being said, are you ready to develop your intuition? Here are some ways to unlock this gift:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Hypnosis&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh yes, get yourself hypnotized. Hypnosis is not limited to watching a pendulum move back and forth. Perform self-hypnosis or you can avail of hypnotic programs that can strengthen your intuition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Meditation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Meditating means finding peace in yourself. If your mind and heart are cluttered with too many baggage and hurt, you wouldn't be able to quiet down that part of you that could eventually initiate intuition. There are so many ways to meditate: take a yoga class, or just simply practice some breathing that could bring you straight to Zen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Think positive!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A worry-free, fear-free state could do so much to improve your intuitive ability. By staying positive, you attract good energy that would be able to easily recognize imminent feelings and events.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Just let go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What does this mean? If you are on the brink of making a huge decision, let go of all the inhibitions and head to a quiet place where you could find out where the letting go has brought you. Sometimes you just have to listen to the voice within you, and that voice wouldn't come out unless you let go.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Never expect.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After letting go of the inhibitions and all those things that stop you from thinking and feeling clearly, never expect for an answer right away. Never expect that the "hunch" would fall on your lap immediately. Give it a little time then you'd just get surprised that -- wham! -- now you have your answer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Believe in your first impressions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you see someone for the first time and think that he is a bit too arrogant for your taste, chances are that impression actually holds true. Most of the time, first impressions are brought by intuition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. Stay happy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;See? All you need to be intuitive is to stay happy! Happiness attracts immense power and such power includes intuition. In tapping your intuition, your motivation must be happiness and contentment. Given that premise, intuition will fall to you easily.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Intuition is helpful, because sometimes it leads you to something that cannot be achieved otherwise. A lot of lives have been saved by intuition alone. Decisions are easier done if armed by this gift. You can go though watching talk shows; radio programs; clubs dedicated to public speaking; ordinary conversations; certain rules still apply when it comes to interaction through words. It may sound tedious, I know, but even though it's your mouth that's doing the work, your brain works twice as hard to churn out a lot of things you know. So what better way to start learning to be an effective communication is to know the very person closest to you: yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1. What you know.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an effective speaker is to practice what you've learned. My stint as guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I go to taught me that we all have our limitations, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to keep up and share what we know.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Listening.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;It's just as important as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little bit confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3. Humility&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;We all make mistakes, and sometimes we tend to slur our words, stutter, and probably mispronounce certain words even though we know what it means, but rarely use it only to impress listeners. So in a group, don't be afraid to ask if you're saying the right word properly and if they're unsure about it then make a joke out of it. I promise you it'll make everyone laugh and you can get away with it as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4. Eye Contact&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;There's a lot to say when it comes to directing your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It's important that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a gathering, even though he or she may be gorgeous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. Kidding around&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;A little bit of humor can do wonders to lift the tension, or worse boredom when making your speech. That way, you'll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they'll feel that you're just as approachable, and as human to those who listen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6. Be like the rest of them&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Interaction is all about mingling with other people. You'll get a lot of ideas, as well as knowing what people make them as they are.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;7. Me, Myself, and I&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Admit it, there are times you sing to yourself in the shower. I know I do! Listening to the sound of your own voice while you practice your speech in front of a mirror can help correct the stress areas of your pitch. And while you're at it you can spruce up as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;8. With a smile&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A smile says it all much like eye contact. There's no point on grimacing or frowning in a meeting or a gathering, unless it's a wake. You can better express what you're saying when you smile.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;9. A Role Model&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There must be at least one or two people in your life you have listened to when they're at a public gathering or maybe at church. Sure they read their lines, but taking a mental note of how they emphasize what they say can help you once you take center stage.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;10. Preparation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Make the best out of preparation rather than just scribbling notes and often in a hurried panic. Some people like to write things down on index cards, while other resort to being a little more silly as they look at their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy hands, please). Just be comfortable with what you know since you enjoy your work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And that about wraps it up. When we get to the battle field, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armors to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. And wearing a bullet proof armor ideally means ‘self change’. The kind of change which comes from within. Voluntarily. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Take Good Care of Yourself&lt;br /&gt;It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For&lt;br /&gt;Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions&lt;br /&gt;A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Refrain from Using Absolutes&lt;br /&gt;Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Detach From Negative Thoughts&lt;br /&gt;Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Squash the "ANTs"&lt;br /&gt;In his book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life," Dr. Daniel Amen talks about "ANTs" - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like "Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me," or "The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!" When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. Practice Lovin', Touchin' &amp;amp; Squeezin' (Your Friends and Family)&lt;br /&gt;You don't have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn't touch!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;8. Increase Your Social Activity&lt;br /&gt;By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person&lt;br /&gt;Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination&lt;br /&gt;If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity. There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they're uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won't solve our problems. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. Bobby Mcferiin's simple message surely made a lot of people by telling them not to worry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the better things ever said is - 'The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change', and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Social networks or relationships are essential to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of resentments. If arguments seem unavoidable still try and make an effort to understand the situation and you might just get along with well with&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Happiness is actually found in everyone, increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and also more healthy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To be happy is relatively easy, just decide to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are several ways by which you can do this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being grateful is a great attitude. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mails, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A religious connection is also recommended. Being part of a religious group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditations foster inner peace.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Manage your time. Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Laugh and laugh heartily everyday. Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say -'Laughter is the best medicine'.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around you. They will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Assuming you sleep for 8 hours, you are left with 57,600 seconds per day. What are you going to do with them? Life is finite and we never know when our time will be up, what value do you place on yours?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The rich value their time like gold dust, the poor rarely value their time at all. The choice lies with you, how will you spend your time - will you spend it wisely or will you squander it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How much time have you wasted so far this year? Many people spend hours each day watching TV, then claim to have no spare time to visit family or friends. It is a good idea to think about how much time you waste each day, and how that time could be spent making your life better. Some people spend their spare time running part-time businesses, some learn new skills while others choose to enrich the lives of others by volunteering. However you choose to spend your time, are you making the most of it?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are running a business in your spare time and want to increase your income, you must plan your time well. Time is money, time wasted is money wasted. Without a plan, much time is wasted wondering what to do next. A good plan will ensure that your efforts are focused on specific tasks and that your time is used effectively.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The ultimate aim of any business person is to create multiple streams of passive income, revenue which is earned without spending any more time or effort. To achieve this, you must spend time learning the skills neccessary to generate these revenue streams. If you could set up a small business which, after the initial set-up phase would earn you a sustained revenue for life with no extra effort, that would be worth it right? This is how the rich get richer, they learn what it takes, plan meticulously, follow the plan to completion then they start again. It is my belief that there is absolutely no difference between a rich person and a poor person other than money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Start writing your plan now...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is your goal?&lt;br /&gt;What steps must you take achieve your goal?&lt;br /&gt;What milestones must you reach on the way to achieving your goal?&lt;br /&gt;What do you need to learn in order to achieve your goal?&lt;br /&gt;What challenges might you face while following your plan?&lt;br /&gt;What will you do to overcome them?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Successful people follow a plan of action, the most successful people plan for every eventuality. A good plan is like a roadmap to success, follow it and you will find your way. If you do not have a roadmap, or you choose not to follow it, you will lose your way and you will lose motivation. You cannot spot reduce. At this point, the only way you can only get rid of the fats and get some body mass is to have a healthy diet and do cardio exercises.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Only after surpassing the diet and cardio requirements can you focus on the abdominal exercises. There Are No Shortcuts&lt;br /&gt;Miracle diets, pills and potions are mere shortcuts that will lead you to a dead end. If a healthy body is aimed, you have to work for it. Health and Fitness Require Commitment&lt;br /&gt;Your dedication to the health of your body is a lifelong commitment. Even if you achieved a good body now, it will not remain so forever if you abuse on your diet and lifestyle. You can only hope, but you cannot expect. So if you aim for the healthy body; get an exercise program for your self and make some changes in your diet. Give your self a holistic development. Every human being and animal have water in their body. They need water to survive. By not having water for days, these can have a side effect on their body and mind functions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Out of all the nutrients, water is the most important of them all. Even a camel may not be able to survive if not allowed to have a single drop for months and months and months.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Water flushes the unwanted toxins in your body. When you’re taking a shower, soap cleanses your body and water flushes everything out, right? That’s exactly how it goes with taking in water. Water carries out all the waste from your organs and your cells.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Water is the main component in the blood. It is a second circulatory system and is also the juices in the digestive system. If it weren’t for water, you wouldn’t be able to digest properly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As disgusting as it may sound, water is also the main ingredient of your urine and your sweat. How ironic it is that it’s also water that will cleanse your body, while it is also the main ingredient of something excretory. Water is also a big component in the mucus in your throat, your nose and your eyes, just as the bile in your stomach.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even though oil and water don’t mix, water is also like oil, in the sense that it is a lubricant. Water makes it easier for components to move freely from one another. A fine example in depicting these is that the water allows the joints in your knees and your elbows to slide properly. Whenever you bend or straighten your legs and fingers, you don’t have to exert much effort because the water inside you is responsible for all that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For your comfort, it is also advised that you drink water. Take for example you had just ended a rigorous work out. You must replace the water you’ve lost inside you by drinking water. Besides, whenever you drink water, it replenishes and nourishes you. When you are under a hot sizzling sun, your body lets out a lot of heat, that’s why the skin tries to cool you through your sweat. Schedule when you would drink. Do you prefer every ten or fifteen minutes. That’s because with a strenuous work-out, you lose more water in your body.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Water works so hard in providing you the needed nourishment your body requires from day to day. Normally, a person’s body loses 2 to 3 quarts of water. That’s 2 liters. Not only do you lose water through peeing and sweating, through evaporation, you unconsciously lose water. When you breathe, your breath has water droplets. It’s too minute for anybody to see. But you can see it in a way if you breathe in through glass. That’s again another evaporating process, which only proves that your breath does have water. Skin has water and these are also evaporated by the air.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By drinking water and eating the right food, a person replaces the water that is lost consciously and unconsciously. Food that are appropriate in replacing the lost water are the types that have water in it. Examples are cantaloupes, watermelon, oranges and grapes. These are fruits which you bite into and have a citrus-y feel. For vegetables, they may not have as much citrus-y feel as the fruits, but lettuce, celery and cucumbers are the top choices.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do not rely on food alone. You yourself must intake the required eight to twelve glasses of water. There are also substitutes like soup. If you’re into coffee, it would only contribute in making you pee more. That’s because caffeine is a diuretic. Too much soda will only give you more sugar than it will give you more water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Perhaps, the best advertisement we can advise anyone to drink water is that it makes the skin and hair beautiful and healthy. By drinking, you lessen the chances of having acne and rashes. But another unexpected side effect of taking Topamax is weight loss. A reported weight loss of 16 percent in adults and 21 percent in children has been recorded. Health care providers have started prescribing certain Topamax dosage for weight loss but only for certain situations. But because Topamax is not recommended or even recognized as drug or medication for weight loss by the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA), this becomes an “off label” prescription or use of drug.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An “off label” prescription of a particular drug is used when the particular drug, i.e., Topamax, used to treat a medical condition or disease is not approved by the US FDA. The US FDA will regulate how this prescription drug can be advertised or manufactured by the producing company. However, these same regulations do not actually prohibit a health care provider from prescribing the drug for different medical conditions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Prescription of a minimum amount of Topamax dosage for weight loss falls under an “off label” prescription. Topamax is primarily used to treat epilepsy and used, in minimal dosage, to prevent migraine headaches. But side effects have shown themselves in patients taking any amount of dosage and weight loss is one of them. To avoid the appearance of these side effects, health care providers recommend a small dose of less than 25 mg daily, split into two doses, which should be at least twelve hours apart. Do not expect a dramatic weight loss, though, as amount of weight lost is still in proportion with a person’s body weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Topamax has been prescribed for treatment of weight loss and obesity and to assist in the decrease of the occurrence of binge eating. However, prescription of Topamax for weight loss has also resulted in several undesirable side effects. Health reports have noted that patients who have used Topamax for weight loss have experienced memory loss and difficulty in concentration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These side effects make it more difficult to tolerate Topamax and make it harder for the drug to work effectively. This is the reason why Topamax will not be approved by the US Food and Drug Administration as a recommended prescription drug for weight loss because there is no balance. Prescribing Topamax has proven tricky because an intake of excess dosage can result in undesirable effects that can lead to something more dangerous. Common side effects include a change in taste, diarrhea, nausea and dizziness. Dangerous side effects include memory problems, fatigue, confusion and impairment of fine motor skills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If excess dosage or intake of topamax is ingested, complications may include an overdose, which is apparent through seizures, speech problems, blurred vision, loss of coordination, loss of consciousness and coma, muscle weakness and bone pain. Because of this, despite the result, any amount of Topamax dosage and weight loss is not a good combination. While this generally only happens in high schools, more middle and elementary schools are allowing it. For this to work, you must teach your child to make healthy choices.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you question the nutritional value of your child’s lunch, you can either request menus be sent to you, or if possible, go have lunch with them a few times and see what they’re eating. If you don’t feel the menu meets high enough standards, make that known. Talk to the principal, the PTA, the school board, or the person in charge of menu planning. Find other parents who agree with you and take a stand.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It seems the most logical option to ensure your child is eating right at school is just to give them a sack lunch. The problem is, there’s no guarantee your child is eating their lunch and not someone else’s.
