Hey everyone! Whilst it all appears quiet here on the website, I am working behind the scenes on upcoming photo sessions as well as working on some gorgeous galleries for recent clients, such as this gorgeous little girl and her family. Did I mention that I am also ‘in training’ and am completing my first 8km Fun Run this weekend! Wish me luck!!

Summer – 18 degrees, cold, windy and dark.

No better place to be than on the couch watching a movie.

You love your  movies and are quite happy to watch them over and over and over again. Today it was Robots and Kungfu Panda.

Welcome to 2012! I hope you have all had a fantastic Christmas and holiday period. Today is my first day back in the ‘office’ and I feel like I have SO much to catch up on. Saturday saw my first family session for the year but you will need to wait a couple more days to see a full preview of that session. I will share just one at the end of this post.

WHAT’S NEW ?

* The newly introduced packages seem to be very popular as you simply choose to purchase your top 5 images, your top 10 images or your complete gallery. All three packages come complete with digital negatives on disc as well as prints and/or enlargements offering clients the best of both worlds. The re-introduction of the payment plan has seen many clients opt for taking the lot reducing the stress of needing to cull images down!! You can view the packages and pricing in the ‘info’ tab above.

* With Saturday sessions usually booked out a few weeks in advance I have made available in 2012 Thursday mornings for bookings! This timeslot is ideal for the little ones and Dads find it a lot easier to attend as they can pop off to work after the session is complete!

*  Twilight Sessions are still running on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings throughout January, February and March – booking a Twilight Session earns you a complimentary framed 8×12″ print of your choice!

* My personal January Photo a Day challenge is now in full swing, where I take one photo of my own children each day in January.

You’ve only been showering by yourself for the past month and a bit.

You and your painted toenails and your Kung Fu Panda bandaid.

I have a similar photo of Paigey at the same age.

I love your pudgy toes and little turned in ankles.

Bubblegum.

For about 2 years now you’ve been asking me when you would be able to have bubblegum.

Today when you asked, I said “NOW!”

You were so excited, but expected to be able to blow HUGE bubbles straight away. When this didn’t happen your frustrations got the better of you and you vowed never to eat bubblegum ever again!

Until Mummy told a little white lie on your final attempt and told you you had just blown a HUGE bubble!!

Every January I participate in a personal challenge to take one photo a day of my children doing the normal, everyday things. We had just spent 6 glorious nights down the coast and arrived home to 35+ degree weather. We had to recreate the ocean in our backyard!

Can you guess which image was taken right before the ‘Wet Willy Incident’? For my OS visitors, a wet willy is when you lick your finger and stick it in someone’s ear.
