So it's 2012, the year of the London Olympics, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and a leap year. Which means that women can propose to their men. If they want to that is. Or are tired of waiting to be asked. lol.

Because we're not used to it, the idea of a woman proposing to a man is a weird concept....and it just got weirder!

We usually think of Christmas as a time for indulgence and the days between Christmas and New Year as a time for reflection and thoughts to the year ahead.

Will you try harder to lose weight, save more, spend more time with your friends/family and less time at work?

My words opened a floodgate of response from people who felt the same, had been in the same situations and/or emphasised with me. B) what's the point?

Its reassuring that on paper I'm still the awesome catch I feel I should be at my age but that doesn't give me the joy I feel it should.
