Christ Church’s Parish Festival is Sunday, September 9th!

Come One, Come All! Join us in enjoying fellowship, fun, food, and games on the lawn to celebrate life at Christ Church!

On Sunday September 9th, the 8am service will be inside New Brick as usual. The 10:30 service will be outdoors, weather permitting, under the trees between the parish hall and New Brick. The festival will begin immediately following service. We will have food, cotton candy, music, inflatables for the young at heart, and displays of what is happening this fall at Christ Church.

We’re grilling hotdogs, and drinks will be provided, but please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share. Folding chairs or blankets are welcome!

Check the sign up sheet on the table in the Narthex to see how you can help make this festival a success. We will need help with Set-up, clean-up, monitoring inflatables, working with the crafts, … Please contact Ron Couch at rncouch (at) gmail (dot) com if you have any questions.

Sunday School Registration for 2018-2019

It’s time to register for Sunday School!

Whether you are a returning family or new to our community, it is important that you register for our Sunday School program so that we can best prepare our for the upcoming Ministry year.

Our Sunday School program is open to children from Pre-K through grade 12, and begins September 16th. Our classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:30am – 10:15am.

Please print, complete, and return this form to us on Sundays at church for each child (one child per form, please) who will participate in our Sunday School program. One of our Sunday School leaders will contact you to confirm that we have received your child’s registration information.

The Annual Christ Church Flea Market: Saturday, September 22nd

Mark your calendars!

The Christ Church Annual Flea Market and Bake Sale is hosted by the Women of Christ Church, and will be held on Saturday, September 22nd. It runs from 9am to 2pm, and takes place on the church grounds. You can have your own space in the market, or if you’re cleaning out closets or garages the church will be sponsoring the white elephant tables & welcomes your unwanted treasures.

Rain date is the following Saturday, September 29th.

Forms for those interested in selling their items are available in the Narthex and in the drop box outside the Parish Hall, but also by clicking here. If you’re one of those who are interested, please fill one of the forms out soon, as space is limited and we do tend to run out of available space!

The turnout for our Annual Flea Market is always significant, so whether you’re someone who wishes to sell their wares or are simply looking for that unique item to take home, we hope that you can come and join us!

Christ Church Family Picnic: This Sunday, July 22nd

Please join us this Sunday, July 22nd following the 10:30 service, when we will host a Family Picnic. All are invited, and there will be lots of good food, fun, & fellowship. We’ll also have a beer garden and “TEO” the magician will be performing.

A contribution of $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under is requested. Proceeds will go towards our fundraising towards the purchase of a new Rodgers 599 Organ for Christ Church this autumn.

Vacation Bible School is Almost Here! July 16th-20th

It’s almost time for Vacation Bible School 2018!

We are finalizing details for VBS and would like you to join us for a week of fun and friends. This year is titled “Rolling River Rampage” and will be held from July 16-20 from 9:30am-12:30pm each day. VBS is for children aged preschool through 5th grade.
