In our pursuit of understanding humanity, we were interrupted with an explanation…Jesus.

In our response, we write. It is from this place that the “Being Human Project…Start Listening EP” was birthed. Our desire is that you too will pause, perceive, and behold the beauty in the world around you. For we all have been beaten and bruised, but not forgotten; friends, know there is still Hope. Audrey Assad is an American singer-songwriter born in New York.
Assad relocated to Florida at age 18, where she played locally before moving to Nashville to further her career in music. She released an EP entitled Fireflies which landed her a contract with Sparrow Records; her debut full-length appeared on the label in July 2010. The album reached #12 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and #6 on its Heatseekers chart.^[1] Assad also does songwriting work for other artists and has toured and performed on record with Chris Tomlin.

Ian Mcintosh

Though claiming only a young 22 years of age, Ian McIntosh is already quite an accomplished and prolific musician. He has nearly 12 years of keyboard playing under his belt, hundreds of hours of live performance time, dozens of event appearances, and two full length albums. Ian has been leading worship many years, and has been working nonstop to channel musical influences that include bands such as Sigur Ros, Muse, Delirious?, Coldplay, and Mew. He has embarked on a journey to develop a “new sound,” that is uniquely his own.
Ian is commonly quoted as saying “Christian musicians should be the most creative musicians in the world.” He believes strongly that God is the highest creative authority (the Creator of all things) and that we, as creation, have a responsibility to reveal that creativity. Creativity is one of the keys to turning both media and entertainment industries back towards a genuine artist expression.
On his latest record, “Alive,” Ian broke some rules and chose to go all out in his artistic expression. The result was something deeply brave, authentically unique, and refreshingly alive. Whether its the dramatic piano hooks, the ethereal vocals, the emotional melodies or the massive guitars that swell behind it all, the music is creatively compelling in nature. Powerful and memorable hooks show up throughout the album. Each song encourages the listener to respond in some way. Some people will respond by singing along, while others might respond by inwardly contemplating the deep truths of God’s grace and mercy. Ian’s heart for worship is a breath of fresh air. His music challenges stereotypes in what it means to be a “Christian” musician and draws on the heartstrings of every listener.

Given Jon’s multi-ethnic background and diverse musical exposure growing up, God has graced him with an intense, unique, and epic sound that not only unifies the nations, but generations. You Are My World was recorded live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team, with over 300 singers and musicians. This was the first live praise and worship album Hillsong Church recorded in the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Over 9,000 people from the newly merged Hillsong Church congregation in both the Hills and City came together to record the album. Also, it was the last album that Mark Stevens had sung in the Hillsong team, before Stevens transferred to Bradford, England.

It was released in Australia on Saturday, 9 May 2009 and debuted at #1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart, as well as at #1 on the 'Inspirational' genre Top Albums. Singles from the album debuted to 9 of the top 10 spots on the iTunes Top Singles chart for the 'Inspirational' genre.
