On a Different Mission: A Bisexual Awakening MM Romance Releases!

I’ll tell you all a little something about the inspiration behind Devin’s character and the story. It’s something that’s mentioned a bit in the first chapter as well. I started watching the new Queer Eye show about a year ago (it’s so uplifting!) and they did an episode on Jonathon Van Ness, who is nonbinary (goes by they/he/she according to their Instagram profile).

In the episode, the show went back to their high school, where they were a cheerleader. I was surprised when they talked about the bullying they suffered. JVN is such an uplifting person on the show and the fact that they were able to be so positive in spite of all that really moved me. So, there you go

And Now, the Teaser:

“He’s been talking about wearing a skirt or a dress forever, you know.” She threw a look toward the stage. “I think Axel is helping him be himself finally.”

“I’m right here, you know.” He rolled his eyes. “It wasn’t all Axel. It was time.” He focused on me. “I’ve been daring myself to be me since I came down here freshman year and now that my senior year is almost over, I figured it’s now or never, you know?”

I nodded. “Yeah, I know. Senior year sort of makes the real world and what you want to do and be the rest of your life real.” Boy, did I know that. Graduation couldn’t some soon enough.

Layla stepped through the bar and stopped at us, her cropped blonde hair held off her forehead by a pair of black barrettes. “Hey, everyone.” With a grin, she held her hand up.

“Layla, good you’re here.” Olivia wrapped her up in a quick hug, then freed her. “What do you think of Devin?” She stepped back and held her hand out to him.

“Oh my. I hardly recognized you.” Layla gave him the once over. “Stand up for me.”

With his cheeks flushing, he slid off his barstool and turned around.

“You are hot. If I didn’t know what equipment you had under that skirt, I might be jealous of my boy Brandon here.” She sniggered.

“Don’t even think about it.” I shook my head, chuckling.

Axel hopped off the stage and strode to us. “Hey, Dev, it’s time, man. Let’s do this.” He patted Devin’s arm.

“Yeah, okay.” Devin planted a quick kiss on my cheek, then jogged up to the stage.

“So, are you nervous for him?” Layla bumped her shoulder on mine, then ordered herself a beer from the bartender.

“Yeah, a little.” I kept my focus on the stage, on Devin snatching the mic and flipping his longs bangs to the side. Something happened to him when he got behind a mic. It was like he became someone else with more confidence and the slightly awkward Devin disappeared. I wasn’t sure which one I liked more. Did I have to choose? Hell no, I could have them both.

Catching His Name: A Secret Millionaire MM Romance Releases!

This was a fun book to write and I was able to let my characters eat all the great foods that I no longer can due to my food sensitivities (like gluten, eggs and milk:( ). But Dana is a character that is near to my heart, because his humor is pretty much like mine. Yep, all those weird things he says are things I say and my friends roll their eyes every time, LOL. Anyways, I hope this installment of the Mesa Boys is as entertaining for you readers as it was for me to write. Thanks for reading!

And Now, A Teaser:

I sure as hell didn’t expect that. “Really.” He locked his gaze to Nate’s lips, then licked his own. Why did Nate offering information about himself make him feel like he’d just won a prize?

“Your friends aren’t around.” Nate skimmed his teeth over his lower lip.

“You want to kiss me?” Dana came close, brushing his lips to Nate’s. They were as soft as they looked.

Nate’s breath caught.

With his mouth hovering over Nate’s, Dana whispered, “How about we play a game? Every time you tell me something about yourself, I’ll give you a kiss.” He cupped Nate’s cheek with his palm. “A really good f*cking kiss.” He pressed his mouth to Nate’s, then skimmed his tongue inside, tasting beer and spice and a hint of sweet. F*ck, he tastes good. Heat tingled in his swelling c0ck.

A low moan rippled from Nate’s chest as he deepened the kiss, his tongue dancing along Dana’s. He squirmed in his seat, adjusting his shorts.

Dana broke the kiss, his gaze meeting with Nate’s, his pupils wide. “Sound like a deal?”

Breathless, Nate said, “Is that the only way I can get a kiss?” He flicked his tongue over his upper lip.

“No, sometimes I might just want to kiss you, too.” Dana released a soft chuckle. Like probably all the damn time.

Catching His Eye (Mesa Boys Book 3) Releases!

Josh and Gavin surprised me quite a bit in the this book. It wasn’t until I was halfway through that I realized I was writing kink awakening;) So, that might give you an indication of some of what goes on between Gavin and Josh. They have a very strong sexual attraction to each other, so yeah, lots of sex scenes. Anyhow, when I first wrote about Josh as Max’s friend in book 1, I didn’t see this coming at all. Hope you all enjoy it!

And Now, A Teaser:

With a chuckle, Josh picked up his beer. “Yeah, I know all about it. My sister has two boys, and they are a handful. Cute, but I’m glad I’m the uncle and not the dad. I can hand them back whenever I want.” He peeked at Gavin.

“Yeah, you’re too young still for all of that. I was almost thirty when we had Casey. I was done with going to nightclubs every weekend.” Jacob sipped some beer. “Which, Gavin, I heard you took our new hire here down to Sixth Street last night?”

“I did.” Gavin peered at Jacob. What had Josh told him?

“By the way, it’s cool of you to share your room with Josh. I don’t know if I’d have been that nice.” Jacob ticked his brows at Gavin.

“It has two beds, it’s not like we’re sleeping together.” Josh flicked a glance at Gavin, then freed a sharp laugh.

Choking on his wine, Gavin sputtered and coughed, then wiped his napkin over his mouth. Holy shit, he did not just say that. He stared at Josh.

Josh’s face reddened.

“You okay over there?” Jacob watched him, a faint smile playing over his lips. “Good to know you’re not sleeping with the new hires, too.” He chortled.

Giggling, Josh’s face grew a darker shade of red.

Gavin dipped his head, then shook it as he came back up. “How do you know? Maybe I will.” The best way out of this, was to just go with it. He smirked at Josh.

Josh stared at him, his mouth parting, and squirmed in his seat.

Catching His Heart (Mesa Boys Book 2) Releases!

What can I say about this book? I hated Carter’s father as much as I loved Shane and what he has with Carter. When I started writing this, I didn’t realize (because I’m a huge pantser) how much Carter’s family drama was going to play into this story. But it brings Carter’s situation as much closure as he could get while Shane gets complete closure with his father. I think this book is ultimately about loyalty and standing by the person you love, no matter what. Okay, and Carter has a huge protective streak, LOL.

And Now, A Teaser:

Shane stepped into the apartment, then shut the door. The aroma of beef cooking filtered into his nose, making his stomach grumble. “Oh, that smells good.” He walked into the kitchen.

Carter stood at a white stove, browning hamburger in a frying pan, his black t-shirt pulled tight across his chest, gray board shorts resting on his narrow hips. “Good. I’m making tacos for dinner.”

Winding his arms around Carter’s waist, Shane pressed up behind him and kissed the side of his head. “This is sort of nice, coming home to you cooking for me. I like having a wife.”

“I’m not a wife.” Carter held the spatula up.

“Could have fooled me.” Snickering, Shane released him, then opened the refrigerator and took out two bottles of Gatorade. He set one down next to Cater. “I called my mom today.” He rested his ass on the opposite counter from him and opened the bottle, perusing small bowls filled with shredded lettuce and cheese, salsa, and sour cream, resting on the counter next to the stove.

Carter turned from the stove. “And?” He peered at him.

“And she’s in. We just have to get your mom to agree now and well, get her to admit what’s going on.” Shane sipped the Gatorade.

“Yeah, that’s on Dylan.” Carter pressed his lips together and returned to the stove.

“My Mom gave me a warning.” Shane bumped off the counter and stepped next to Carter. Did he know what his mother could be getting into?

Carter peeked at him. “Yeah? What sort of warning?”

Furrowing his brows, Shane said, “She said that with a man like your dad, what your mom is doing is dangerous.” He set his hand on Carter’s shoulder. “I did some research on the internet. When a woman leaves an abusive relationship, or tries to, that’s when things get dicey. The guy steps up his game and he might really hurt her.”

“Fuck.” Carter stopped shoving the hamburger around in the pan and clenched his jaw.

Shane turned the burner off and slid the pan over. “Come here.” He draped his arms over Carter’s shoulders.

Freeing a long breath, Carter buried his face in Shane’s neck and relaxed into his hold. “I’m scared for her, Shane.” He hooked his arms around Shane’s waist.

“I know.” Shane kissed his cheek. “So am I.” His heart ached for him. “But we’ll be careful and when she’s ready, we’ll be there for her.”

This was a fun book to write about a young man (Tanner) who made something of himself, even with the messed up parental situation he was born into. There is a quirky bar in this book that is one of my favorites and is a real place, called, Monastery Bar and Grill. The MCs also get to go on a Mexican vacation to a fun place I went to last summer (write what you know…).

In the free prequel , you get to meet all the skaters. Each skater will basically find their HEA with someone outside of their immediate group of friends in a variety of tropes. Now, the good stuff…

As Max opened the door on the condo and stepped inside, he took it all in. “Oh, my God. Look at the view.” He rolled his suitcase passed a dark-wood kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and black granite counters, then into a room with a glass and iron dining table and a modern, wrap-around sectional couch in dark green with colorful throw pillows. He stopped at a wall of windows and sliding glass doors, leading to a wrap-around patio. The ocean spread out in every direction, white caps twinkling in the deep blue as if they were stars in the sky.

Tanner stepped to his side and gazed out the patio door. “I can’t believe it.” He beamed.

Max wrapped an arm around his shoulders and planted a quick kiss on his cheek. “I’m so glad we could be here together.”

Tanner’s gaze met his. “Yeah, me, too.” He opened the patio door, his long, sun-bleached hair billowing out behind his head, and stepped out to an iron railing with Max following. “Holy fuck. Look at that, two pools?”

Max looked over the grounds, some ten stories below them, and grasped the iron railing. Two large pools fed into a circular pool bar cabana. Grass and palm trees made up the landscaping and beyond it all, a set of palapas lined up across the beach. “You ever watch Bachelor in Paradise?”

“What?” Tanner creased his brows.

“Jesus, Max, don’t tell him you watch that. He might find a new boyfriend.” Josh chuckled, sidling up to the patio rail.

“Shut up, you.” Max snickered, dipping his head a moment. “This place reminds me of where they film that show. They put all these couples on the beach and film them pairing up, then breaking up. It’s very dramatic. Anyway, they film that somewhere in Mexico, too.” He studied Tanner.

Tanner stared at him. “You uh, watch The Bachelor?”

Max faced him. “No, if you must know. I watch The Bachelorette sometimes. The guys are hot.” He lifted his chin. He would not be embarrassed about this.

Tanner smirked. “You’re not watching that anymore.”

Carter walked out onto the patio. “Uh-oh, Tanner’s getting his jealous on.” He snorted. “Bet you’ve never seen his jealous side, huh, Max?” Carter slapped Max’s arm.

Max let a wide smile grace his lips, focusing on Tanner’s large, hazel eyes, the flecks of green and brown glinting in the sunlight. No, he’d never seen it and Tanner had no reason to be jealous. “I don’t need to watch it anymore. I have you.” Max placed his hands on Tanner’s cheeks and gave him a long, deep kiss.

Tanner’s chest swelled with the intensity of the kiss, then he grabbed Max’s hips and pulled them close.

“Go do that in your own bedroom.” Carter scoffed, waving his arm, then stomped into the condo.

Josh tsked. “At least get unpacked first.”

Max broke the kiss, searching Tanner’s face. Tonight was the night. There would be a full moon, and everything would be perfect. “I suppose. Let’s get unpacked, so we can get down to the pool bar and the beach.”

With a grin, Tanner brushed his fingers over Max’s cheek. “Let’s do it.”
