Introducing a new line of nail polishes called Spy Princess.

If you like glitter, these are the polishes for you

because a lot of there polishes are glittery.

Spy Princess sent me some polishes to swatch and try;

and let me tell you, they are actually good quality.

But, the smell of the polishes is kinda strong, but I just love the colors!

I actually made a gradient effect using the blue color,

but somehow I accidentally deleted the picture =/ sowwie!

The polishes only needs 1 coat and it was about a week when I started to notice any chipping.

+ Crunch bars texture

+ lovin the almonds

+ milk chocolate

+ not too sweet, just right

+ very good if you like almonds (which i do!)

+ packed with almond bits in every bite

Corn Crunch

+ basically a sweet corn dipped in chocolate

+ coco puff cereal texture inside and a hard m&m coating outside

+ taste like sweet corn chips

+ even though they have different colors, they all taste the same

+ i recommend to try this if you like sweet corn chips :)

Mixed Strawberries

+ dried strawberries inside w/ white chocolate or milk chocolate coating

+ strawberry is sour

+ i prefer fresh chocolate covered strawberries compared to dried strawberries

+ chocolate is really good!!

Caramel Truffles

+ filling explodes with the first bite

+ caramel filling has a strong alcohol taste

+ caramel is thick

+ my first time trying chocolate with alcohol

Almond Clusters

+ resembles M&Ms but with almonds!

+ very good!

+ 1 huge almond piece coated in milk chocolate

+ more of an almond taste than chocolate

+ good if you don't like too much sweets

Hazelnut Hearts

+ waffle texture

+ can't really taste the hazelnut

+ i think this is dark chocolate because it was kinda bitter

+ sure do like the waffle texture

+ I was kinda sad, I wanted to taste more of the hazelnut

They were also so kind to send me a random box of chocolates!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Browie
+ melted when received (probably because the mailman left it outside. So I immediately placed it in the fridge)

+ peanut butter and chocolate is the perfect combo
+ too sweet
+ could use actual peanuts for some crunch

Date Walnut Bread

+ smelled really good

+ right amount of walnuts in each bite

+ was a bit dry

+ could use some sugar

+ is called "bread" but texture is like a cake

+ the bread itself has its own distinct taste.. but kinda has a weird after taste

Orange Pound Cake

+ actually taste like oranges and the right amount of flavor
+ moist cake
+ my favorite!
+ could use some orange zest

Collar Brooch

I love collar brooches! There are many clothing stores that sell tops with detailed collars, but why buy them if you can just buy a plain collar top and add the accessory yourself?

You can mix and match accessories too!

The brooches can be worn with anything that has a collar.

This collar brooch [$10] is a pin on accessory.

I love how the both of the ends are different; one's a spike and the other is a triangle stud.

The quality is really good. It reminds me of something you can purchase at Forever 21.

The lace collar [$48.50] is very unique. I have not seen one of these pieces before. I love the spikes and the lace detail. The quality is very good and the lace is not irritating against your skin. When you put on the necklace it does not feel heavy, but I do recommend that the lace collar should have different sizes. Currently, Prototype only has one size so if you decide to make a purchase, be sure to ask the buyer the length of the collar and measure your neck to compare. You don't want your necklace to be choking you, you want to be comfortable in it and feel fab! Overall, it is easy to match this accessory with anything. I recommend pairing this piece with a plain tee or a sleeveless top. But, be sure that the top does not have too much detailing because you want the collar to be the focus of your outfit. Polish Remover - Review

When it comes to doing your nails, it's a hassel. You paint your nails, then you remove it. Then you repeat the processes again when you decide to change it. Plus, the frustration of having bits of cotton ball stuck to your nails. I really like painting my nails, but taking off the polish takes too much time. Here is a product that can remove polish instantly without the use of cotton balls.

CVS instant polish remover ($4.95 for 8oz) removes your nail polish faster compared to acetone + cotton. A non- damaging, long-lasting formula moisturizes and conditions your nails and cuticles while removing old polish. The easy to open bottle contains three sponges that is soaked with acetone and a removable toenail dauber. Once it's open, be careful not to put the bottle too close to your face because of the strong acetone smell.

[You can tell I've used this product because of the many polishes that were wiped off]

All you have to do to remove your polish is to insert your finger into one of the 3 sponge opening and move your finger side to side against the sponge. Use the toenail dauber to remove polish on toenails and hard to clean areas.

- Recommended? Yes

- What skin types work best? On all skin types

- Why I like it? It easily removes my nail polish with just one dip

- Will I buy it again? Yes

- Where can I buy it? CVS store

Pros? easily removes polish -- dauber included for hard to clean areas -- I havent run out even if I paint my nails weekly -- cheap price

DIY Galaxy Nails

How to get Galaxy Nails

What you need:

Tutorial :

Paint your nails with a base coat. [I used Bonder Orly Rubberized Basecoat]

First you want to paints your nails all black and wait for them to completely dry.

Here I am using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out #370

Fist take a wedged sponge and dab a little bit of Zoya Charla #ZP508 on the corner of the sponge.

Take the sponge and dab it onto your nail-- anywhere you like. Just keep dabbing until it becomes sticky and there is no more color coming off.

The next color I'm going to use is Essie Coat Azure #742.

Take the same wedge sponge and again dab a little bit of Essie Coat Azure #742 on another corner of the sponge.

Again, take the sponge and dab it anywhere on your nail, but not on top of the Zoya Charla #ZP508 color.You want both colors to be blended.

The next color is Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Tough Chic #240.

With the same wedge sponge dab Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Tough Chic #240 and repeat the same processes above.

Pay attention, this part is different.

Take Sally Hansen HD DVD #15 and instead of dabbing on the sponge, directly dab onto your nail (anywhere).

Grab your sponge and with a clean corner blend the color that you just dabbed.

The reason why this step was different was because with glittery colors, it's hard to see the outcome if you dab the color with the sponge compared to directly placing the color onto your finger.

Next paint your nails with NYC Starry Silver Glitter #105.

Finally use any top coat.

Then your finished!

You have your own Galaxy Nails!

DIY Disney

DIY Disney Silhouette!

I'm a big Disney fan and love Disney princesses. So I've decided to spice up my room with a little decoration. I created a simple project that took less than 5 minutes. The only thing that I needed to purchase were the picture frames. The picture frames came in a bundle... 3 frames for $5 at Big Lots-- now thats a steal! Anyways, let begin with the tutorial.

What you need

picture frames -- scissors -- paper -- pencil/pen

1) Find a silhouette picture for your frame. [I just googled "silhouette".] Your silhouette doesn't have to be black, but I chose it because it would match my frame. Print out your picture.

2) Disassemble the frame. Put the picture that was inside the frame aside.

3) Grab the picture that was inside the frame and place it over your silhouette. Trace it over your silhouette for an exact measurement.
4) Cut the traced picture and place it inside your frame.

Your done!

Tiffany Blue

Nails of the Week! #1

Have you ever looked at Forever 21 nail polishes, but didn't think it was worth your money? I don't think their bad at all. The bottle doesn't have the name of the polish color, so I decided to call it Tiffany Blue. The polish only took 2 coats to get the same color as the polish in the bottle. For $2.80 at Forever 21 and the wide selection of colors, I think it's worth a try.
