Christie’s has always believed in the importance of not only attending our industry association meetings but also becoming actively involved in the association. You cannot just attend and expect our clients to fall all over themselves to get to you. You must establish a relationship and prove to you and all involved why they need to use you.

The associations are a gold mine for education opportunities as well as future work. Our clients that attend these meetings go to establish a business partner that they can trust and are not afraid to let them interact with their clientele.

Not only does your product need to be something that our clients need but also a trust issue is at hand. Our clients must be able to trust that we are going to do what we say we are, our products or top notch, and we will represent them in the fashion they are expecting.

The world of clients is a tricky but yet rewarding world; and we love our associations as well as our clients.

Last week Christie’s Photographic Studio’s not only attended The Special Event, a trade show/conference that is worldwide for event professionals, but we photographed every event, seminar and special happening that the conference had to offer. Tampa is still beautiful and we loved smelling the ocean air again and yes there were some of us that looked like a poodle due to all the humidity! Thank you Florida

Not only did were we the official show photographer but our very own Bob Christie presented an award at the closing awards/gala celebration. Congrats to all the winners and very special congratulations to our dear friend Paul Creighton for winning the Lifetime Achievement award. Well-deserved Paul!

The trade show floor was hopping and of course the night time receptions were out of this world. Try to imagine the most unbelievable events that you could ever attend and that would be the parties at night and we were there with some innovative green screen and super photography capturing the look and feel of each event!

We loved reconnecting with our industry friends and making new connections. We can’t wait to hit the cold of Chicago next year and thank you to all that came by our booth.

See you all next year

Christie’s Photographic Studios had the extreme honor of being a part of the newly renovated Tropicana’s New Year’s Eve celebration. It all started with a phone call from their P.R. department looking for help. Of course, we were ready and able to step in and exceed their wishes. We captured the look and feel of their fabulous and memorable celebration.

Our photographer followed the Tropicana’s V.P. around and caught their images that they needed for their brand new marketing campaign. We stepped in at the last minute per their request and brought to life their celebration. To top it all off we delivered two DVD’s within 72 hours so that they may expedite their marketing campaign.

In a difficult economy value pricing is very important; however what is even more important, is retaining the quality of product and services. A valued pricing structure, signature level products and services require fine tuning and efficiency. Christie’s Photographic has retained its market savvy pricing for over 30 years in spite of rising costs. This value pricing is retained by continuing to refine the way we do business through how our staff operates and by keeping ahead of the constantly changing technology curve. We work every day to create a “bang for the buck” mentality which benefits not only our clients but the company as well.

We will always provide competitive pricing to our clients and strive to continually meet their budget demands. Christie’s Photographic will not lower the standards on how it operates thus making our value pricing truly a “Value”.

Trade Show Photography can be tricky and yet so simple. When you are contracting trade show photography the client should tell you exactly what you they want and what they don’t want. For example: Do they want people in their booth? Do they want action shots of their staff interacting with attendees?, how do we get the client message thru our camera lens to translate into the clients brand, these are just a few very important questions to make sure you ask you trade show client.

You as the photographer should also know your venue. Here in Las Vegas we are extremely lucky to have several locations that we can host a trade show. One of these locations is the Sands Expo and Convention Center. This center has many levels and lots of different sized meeting space. They are also connected to a major property – The Palazzo & Venetian. Remember that when you work in a convention center you should always research your rules, what equipment will you need to get your “shot”, what times are they open, dock space and so on.

Research is the key to good photography not only for trade shows but special events as well.

We’ve long known the impact professional headshots can make to enhance a company’s image, and why then need to be taken by a professional.

Hire a professional special event photographer to take your corporate headshots. There are lots of different ways to accomplish this. You can take the tried and true corporate headshot with the neutral background, or how about stepping outside the box and take environmental shot. You may ask what an environmental shot is; this is a shot that is reflective of your corporate identity,

The bottom line is hire an professional and trust your corporate identity to your professional and not your assistant with the point and shoot camera.

Christie’s likes to make a difference with paying attention to details. We meet with our clients in order to gain insight and to understand exactly what our client’s wants and desires are.

We strive to exceed our client’s wishes by going the extra mile, which could mean something as little as offering their logos on their prints, customizing their green screens with their company event’s message, and documentation of their event. There are many ways to achieve the details and we are always looking for new ways to do this.

Details can only add to an event and with event and trade show photography this can be achieved easily.

People believe what they see. Showing the appropriate image of your business is your responsibility to your clients. Through professionally shot corporate photos, your corporate photographer can help you create a positive image of you, your staff and or the products you/services you offer.

Giving your clientele a glimpse into your world helps them to grasp who you are, allowing a much more positive attitude about your company. Professional photography introduces the face of your team on a broad scale, to the world at large, or personally, to the individual on the other end of the phone or email.

Remember the tremendous value added to social media when adding professional photography, especially corporate headshots. Allow your customers to see the staff and teams with whom they interact. Executive headshots, Executive board, as well as photos of your teams help create a trust internally and with customers.
