Little Miss Ava is making her first appearance on the blog this fine (snowy, whaaaaaat?) mid-April morning! I had so much fun catching up with Ava’s Momma and capturing a few little snippets of her big brother Landon too. 6-7 month old pictures are some of the most fun to capture and one of my favorite times to photograph babies – of course you’ll see why when you scroll down! Krista + Austin brought along their pup – ok BIG German Shepard, Brewer to the session and are getting married next January. I had so much fun shooting this snowy engagement session – it was all worth the cold fingers, red noses and wet boots! Congratulations go out to these two lovelies!

Elena arrived last year just about five weeks early, just a sweet little tiny thing (read more about it here). Where did that year go, because already that sweet little tiny thing is a year old! Just a few weeks ago we were able to capture some one year pictures of her (and sneak in a few of big brother Dylan too). I’m so delighted to watch these littles grow into big people!

Hunter arrived about a week late, but oh so cute and adorable as you’ll be able to see. Emily + Mike invited me into their home to take these photos of them with their new addition back in December. What I love most about these? This is real life, this is a brand new baby and brand new parents. Thank you for allowing me to capture Hunter in his first few days <3

You might just recognize these folks from a few posts here and there over the past couple of years… and a couple of months ago they called me up and asked if I would drive up to Minong, WI where they were celebrating Christmas together a few weekends before the big holiday. I happily obliged and was able to photograph some of their lovely pictures on a frozen lake (how fun!) and were able to watch some eagles out in the open area of the lake. I had so much fun, and I think you can tell they did too!

Oh yes, more of that lovely fall light and color today.. I was so thrilled when DiAnna messaged me about reserving a spot for my fall mini session special. See, DiAnna and I went to college together for marketing and I was in her wedding a few years back up on the very beautiful Mackinac Island. It was so great to see these three and catch up on life, I hope you enjoy this little snippet from their session this past October!

Mmmmm.. I am just loving posting all of these fall sessions – the yummy sunshine just warms me right up on these cold days! Remember these two? Oh, we’ll have to go back a couple of years to their wedding but what a beautiful day that was too.
