anyway, i spent my last few minutes of being 19 playing wii at home. It was a quiet birthday as my aunt and uncle whom i live with were not home for the week and everyone were sleeping when the clock struck 12am. Honestly, i was kinda sad.. alrite, I was sad. I had never had the feeling of being alone on my birthday. ever. and it sucked. thinking of it makes me want to cry. damn the emotions.

BUT!

i had 3 cakes the next day! *yippie*

i just finish watching the Royal wedding live telecast via BBC channel on TV and the only thing i could say to describe the royal wedding of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleston is, 'it is simply a beautiful fairytale wedding'.

one thing is for sure, I would surely want my wedding to be like that. :)

They choose today (29th April) in conjunction with the feast day of St Catherine of Siena. The service was held at Westminster Abbey and was accompanied by a beautiful church choir. Their voices were just so pure. After the service, they proceeded into a carriage with which is black and red. The image of 'Cinderella' almost instantly emerged in my mind except for the fact that thousands of people from all around the world were there to cheer.

It was also estimated that more than 500 private parties were held in London today. Can you imagine if everyone around the world celebrated just for your wedding and even blogging about it? WOW

Is 2012 really going to be the END OF THE WORLD?

Question : Is it really gonna be the END of the World in 2012. well, according to Jay Sean, It is!!

OMG OMG , TIME TO FREAK OUT!

but... wait a minute.

are you sure its gonna be THE END?

Honestly, no one actually knows. people just go all panic-y when they hear those letters which goes two zero one two and well, if it wasn't for the movie 2012, a 2 hour 38 min movie directed by Roland Emmerich, the majority of the society wouldn't even know about the 'mayan calender'!

one thing is for sure, viewers got confused over the whole 2012 movie thing and brought it to reality which freaked many of people out And many researchers / scientists started studying 2012 because of that. According to my friends, some 'insane' people even commited suicide when they found out the world is going to end in 2012 - which is like.. Next year? OMG

well, others believe that there are too many natural disasters which are happening around the world today. Generally speaking, 100 years ago, times of our great grandparents, there were 'many' natural disasters too! it is just not that publicised as there wasn't new media in which the information can reach in a blink of an eye. and... Obviously as time passes, natural disasters add to the 'total number of disasters' and this increases in number. Maybe you could argue on the frequency and tendency. that i wouldn't mind but saying the world is going to END in 2012? that is just out of the mind!

it is not that I'm not trying to think out of the box or anything, but come on.. even with the most scientific research, prove of some calender written years ago, or maybe tarot card reading? , you can not define when the world is going to end as it is all in God's hand. the creator of everything, the alpha and the omega.

Even if you do not believe in God, well, i know many people now don't, do you want to live everyday thinking that you are going to die tomorrow or 2012? imagine living your life in fear or spending all your earnings and savings as you know there is no future ahead of 2012. might be heaps of fun now but what if, what if it is Not the end of the world in 2012. Let me honestly warn you that you are going to live in regret. imagine wasting the whole 2011 worrying or being a beggar when 2013 arrives. WOW

and now.. Jay Sean, lets see if your fan's will laugh at your song when 2013 comes!

to top it up, here's something i found while researching about the whole 21st December of 2012 'thing',

1. Planetary alignments: There aren't any.

2. Alignment of Sun with centre of galaxy: Can't happen because the centre of the galaxy is not in the plane of the Earth's orbit.

3. Once in 26,000 year alignment of the solstice sun and galactic equator: Happened in 1998. Did anything happen as a result? Of course not. Alignments mean nothing in measurable physical terms anyway.

4. Passing of the Solar System through the galactic central plane: Won't happen for 30 million years or so.

5. Planet X/Nibiru: Doesn't exist. If it was the size the claimants describe and following the trajectory they indicate, it would now be visible to anybody with a pair of binoculars.

6. Pole shift: Magnetic pole reversal takes thousands of years and may not start for thousands of years. There is no reason to link it with 2012. As for rotational pole shift, that would take a huge amount of force on the earth. Where is this force going to come from?

7. Solar storms: The Sun is due to reach a maximum in its 11 year cycle in 2013, not 2012 as some doom merchants tell you. No reason to suppose the next peak will be any more energetic than normal.

8. 26,000 year precessional movement of Earth's axis: Doesn't 'begin', 'end' or 'wobble' but carries on smoothly and unnoticed by all.

Let me repeat, If 2012 is really the end of the world to what you believe and still do, then let it be. However, don't live like it's the end of the world next year cos if it isn't, you will be a proven Dumbarse by the end of 2012. - no offence

i'm having study break now in conjunction with Easter. most people call it a holiday but as a matter of fact, it isn't at all! i have 3 assignments due next week and a law test the week after next. oh well, i guess this is uni :)

Before i forget, HAPPY EASTER !!!!

i had heaps of chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs this year. *my diet is kinda abandoned or maybe it never really started*

PS. i have to achieve my target by the end of the year. i wanna lose at least 5 kg this year - seeing the rate I'm going.

well, firstly, 'HI!!!!!'

i haven't really been blogging much lately - i guess the excuse of uni is exhausting - can be accepted in this case. *smiley*

anyway, nothing much has been happening recently. same old routine for the past week. wake up, class, home, assignment/study, sleep. man... my life is getting a lil, shall i say it? boring. ergh..
i can't really go out as i have too much to do. neither have i too much free time either.

BUT!
i did not really give up 'life' completely . pheww!! thank goodness :)

it was study break last week - suppose to be studying the whole week 24/7 *totally crazy nerdy thinking*

instead,
i went to frementle with my new classmates last Saturday

it was nice knowing them. we were suppose to go to for the chili festival but we ate too much before going at the frementle market. So, going for the festival would be just a waste of money as we couldn't eat anymore. Btw, if u were wondering what a 'chilli festival' is.. according to my friend, Connie, we get to try super spicy food there. So.. bang! we missed it.

we also some spray tattoos at the freo market - which mummy and papa thought it was real and i managed to trick them for a week!! *laughs*
here is to make things clear to mummy and papa,
FACT: the barcode tattoo was just a spray tattoo and is NOT permanent.

my parents were so stressed out when they thought that it was a real tattoo and even went to indran and complained about me!! and obviously, indran played along. you got tricked mum and dad!

i also had a super massive catch up time with ali. he brought me for some chocolate treats (forgot the name of the place). it was yumm yumm..
Then, we went to Ikea which was total fun! we had a lame-game of collecting free ikea pencils. yup, those short brown ones. and we even wrote down items which we liked, including price, amount and etc. which we wish to own. it was pretty lame to think about what we did but it was fun! it was like playing shopping-game in a real world. anyway, we spent almost 3.5 hours there laming around and having random childish behaviour. lucky they didn't throw us out!

oh oh oh.. i forgot to mention that we jumped through the fence surrounding ikea. ;)

don't we make good thiefs? haha!

just before you guys think we are 'bad society'. let me state and clear that the hole/ distroyed fence was already in existence and it would have taken up half an hour to get to ikea through the correct way as the main entrance was VERY far from the bus station.
so, ikea manager/who ever working there, we suggest if you could make a small entrance for people taking public transportation to your shop - though rare but marketing is about satisfying needs. ie, need for less distance between bus stop and entrance.

we then met up with Naz. had dinner and boy.. it made me miss those old times. you see, only 4 of us are left out of the whole group of us. Indran, Jasreen, and Thina went back to Malaysia, Christle went back to Singapore. so its now left Ali, naz, shabri and me. which is totally sad cos i hardly meet Naz anymore as he goes to a diff uni now and Ali and Shabri are not taking the same units as me so we hardly meet as well as our timetable clashes.

so.. to you guys who went back, please come back here! we miss you a lot, honestly!

well, I've been pretty busy for the past few weeks. It is gonna be a month since I'm back in Perth. Uni is getting tough and i actually found it difficult to adapt to second year. Maybe cos everyone kinda vanishes after lectures. It was in fact very different compared to Diploma which i did instead of year one in the same uni.

Anyway, it was Nanthinie's birthday a few days back and we had a small party for her.

new keyboard piano - CTK 3000

and so.. after researching for almost a week on a keyboards, i finally came to a conclusion which is to get a brand new CTK 3000. *yippie*

i went to the music shop - Crecendo, in Myaree, Perth, and i was pleased with the customer service. They have huge range of music sheets for almost all instruments there too and to top it up, it is not overpriced.

my experience with touch sensitive CTK 3000 was good overall. I used to play the piano back home and this keyboard is only a supplementary as i miss playing my piano so much. :)

till then! i'm off to play with my monster now :))

Husky

went to kl last Sunday and i saw a Husky at the pet shop
and even after so many days, i still want it!
mom will never let me have a dog so it's gonna be my 'wish' for now

not only is it classically beautiful and cute but when i did a google search on it, i found out that A Siberian Husky is the most beguiling and loving dog. It has a great zest for life, boundless love in it's heart, and a mischievous spirit.

A husky is most trustworthy around young children and small animals. Thus, i don't have to be afraid of it biting me! :) It delights in their company and is a loyal wonderful companion for life which is a total 'aww...' case. Besides that, they require low maintenance!

I WANT A Siberian HUSKY !!!
