Hello people,
Because of many requests, a joke shall be posted to keep this blog 'alive'.

There was a time in the nineteen forties when Vyacheslav Molotov was Soviet foreign minister. He was a shrewd man and a hard bargainer but worked for Joseph Stalin, who was The Boss.He was once overheard talking to Stalin by trans-Atlantic telephone during the course of some very intricate negotiations with the West. He said, "Yes, Comrade Stalin," in quiet tones, then again, "Yes, Comrade Stalin, and then, after a considerable wait, "Certainly, Comrade Stalin. Suddenly he was galvanized into emotion. "No, Comrade Stalin," he barked, "No. That's, no. Definitely, no. A thousand times, no!"

After a while, he quieted and it was "Yes, Comrade Stalin," again. The reporter who overheard this was probably never so excited in his life. Clearly, Molotov was daring to oppose the dictator on at least one point, and it would surely be important to the West to know what that point might be.

The reporter approached Molotov and said as calmly as possible, Secretary Molotov, I could not help but hear you say at one point, "No, Comrade Stalin."

Molotov turned his cold eyes on the reporter and said, "What of it?"

"May I ask," said the reporter, cautiously, "What the subject under discussion was at that time?"

"You may," said Molotov. "Comrade Stalin asked me if there was anything which he had said with which I disagreed."

Get it?
Here is another.

Memo from Director General to Manager:

Today at 11 o'clock there will be a total eclipse of the sun. This is when the sun disappears behind the moon for two minutes. As this is something that cannot be seen every day, time will be allowed for employees to view the eclipse in the car park. Staff should meet in the car park at ten to eleven, when I will deliver a short speech introducing the eclipse, and giving some background information. Safety goggles will be made available at a small cost.

Memo from Manager to Department Head:

Today at ten to eleven, all staff should meet in the car park. This will be followed by a total eclipse of the sun, which will disappear for two minutes. For a moderate cost, this will be made safe with goggles.

The Director General will deliver a short speech beforehand to give us all some background information. This is not something that can be seen every day.

Memo from Department Head to Floor Manager:

The Director General will today deliver a short speech to make the sun disappear for two minutes in the eclipse. This is something that can not be seen every day, so staff will meet in the car park at ten or eleven. This will be safe, if you pay a moderate cost.

Memo From Floor Manager to Supervisor:

Ten or eleven staff are to go to the car park, where the Director General will eclipse the sun for two minutes. This doesn't happen every day. It will be safe, but it will cost you.

Memo from Supervisor to staff:

Some staff will go to the car park today to see the Director General disappear. It is a pity this doesn't happen every day.

How a message changes.

Have a nice day.

Afternoon Prefects Trip

Hey, everyone!!!
Come on!!!
Lets work together to make the trip success!!! =D

Updates

2010-04-11T19:54:00.000+08:00

Hello again guys,
We, the prefect committee, would like to extend our greatest thanks for listening to our talks during the meeting on Friday. Thanks for helping it work too. No matter how great a thing we plan, it wont work unless there is someone cooperative to make it work.

Just a gentle reminder here, keep up the good work!

Well, i just want to remind you all that we are prefects for a good cause, to improve ourselves, grow our talents, train our rationality, improve out schools discipline and many other causes. would like to specifically mention one of these. To improve ourselves. We have to improve our character. I know some of you are practically bracing for boredom now, but just continue to read. You wont regret. I just ask that we will try out best to improve our character. Get in all those good qualities and throw out all those bad ones. saying that the world is like that and hat you're liek that is NOT an excuse. Saying that other people are not doing it is NOT an excuse. Please try your best to be humble. Don't be too proud in a bad way.

Just a reason to keep you going. After 4 months, you all will be seniors, but the process of teaching probationals does not start then. It starts now. Just think. If we have bad character and the Form 1s see us. they think that if they be prefects, they will be able to have bad character. Think about how you will have to teach them when they come in. Do not think that you can manage to let them go bad and save them at the last minute. Don't let them go bad first, then only start thinking about bringing out the best result. Look at it this way. A baby learning to walk. It has to learn how to crawl first, but after that, it does not run immediately, it still has to stand. After that, walk. After the long and painful process only can it start to walk.

Thanks people. Hope you all have a nice day.

KEEP IT UP!!!

UNity

2010-04-09T22:39:00.000+08:00

Unity, our main target. We hope it can be achieved in 2 months time.
I hope you guys listen to the meeting today. it was important. And it may be continue at the next meeting.
Thank You, Prefects

are great leaders, everyone is a leader, no matter in our work life, school life, and most importantly, our own life, we face different problems everyday, thats normal, if we figure out the solution and get back on the track in time, when we face critics, live with it, thats how we grow up, learn from our mistakes, but, never ever give up, a good leader always face them, just a piece of advise, go on with what you are doing even though criticism flows in.

Secondly, always give and take because thats how we learn from our problems, think positively, that way, solution comes.

TO EVERYONE OF US

2010-04-02T22:41:00.000+08:00

Afternoon session prefects, please read this post, as you are one of the family member.
We, 40 prefects, dont care who other ppl are, what identity ppl are, we are 1, the only special 1.
IT is very easy for us to the word "unite". but how about we do it? It is tough. But we must try our best. Pn cheam is very dissapointed with us, not only masters, but everyone. What we can do and must do is, do something to regain her confidence against us.

First, we must be unite. MAybe someone will ask, how to unite. Ok, we must have a target, a goal to be shoot. Thats masters want A.C.I.D.. Besides, please be open-minded. We have the same position in ppl's eye. Please avoid from arguments, quarreling and anyelse that can destroy our image and relationships, although some of you always take the quarrel or debate as your attitude. But, control it, use in a positive way.

Second, improve our discpline and the afternoon session's discipline. "Discipline--another quality from the slogan".

Our discipline-- respect, show good-manners, humble to teachers. It is a must for us. Teachers complained about us. Dont do things just according to your mood, think of ppl, think of this board, think of yourself, think of your image.
Afternoon session's discipline-- There is nothing we can "purposely" do to improve the discipline. But we can do it through our heart. We must enjoy our duty. Take everything easy. Turn our mood to positive anytime no matter wat happened. And, we must be unity. (Erm...unity? maybe the last paragraph may do the talking)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not telling all of you nonsense, same as other 4 masters. Anything that we said, every word, every alphabet, just for you, and for the board. We got nothing. We really want, really hope we can improve this board, make it better than previous years. Make it more fun, than other societies. Please, we need your cooperation. Your cooperation will be highly-appeciated. Please, we must give and take, no matter it is opinion or comment. We must forgive each other when any party did wrong. We must forgive. Dont be proud or something.

Lastly, is for my own. You can choose to read or quit, up to you. ok, i know i was being very very childish in the past 5 months, since october till now, since the first day we became prefects. And because of my childish, made almost everyone of you hate me. I have tried to chang, to be more mature. I had give you bad image since october till now, but i wanna give you good image in the coming 5 months. And i wanna apologized to everyone of you for not leading you and the board well. SORRY!!!!

1 chs, 1 prefectorial board, 1 family, 1 acid. We can do it, it is called teamwork. Lets work together to regain her confidence towards us, and make our discipline, and anything better as many teachers complained about us. We must change and show them. Maybe we cant, but we must try. We hope cooperation from you. And dont takut, you are given chance to voice out. Dont worry, we can combine your ideaand make it better.

Cooperation+Improvement+Anti-arguments= A strong and fun team

IMPROVEMENT TO BE SEEN^^

Friday outing in sunway

2010-02-26T09:27:00.000+08:00

Holiday on friday, outing on friday. Sorry, not this friday, last friday on 19/2/10. 10 of us from 40 went to the outing. There were jia yun ( birthday girl on 20/2/10), chan long, xi rong, joshua, yeong jong, zi jun, jia chi, me, jia hwei and eunice.

Me and xi rong went to red box to book a room for afterwards event. The 'aunty' there called xi rong 'uncle'. Maybe his clothing make him looked older. By the way, now i am uploading the pictures i took on the outing. Just scroll down.

Xi rong and Jia chi in starbucks waiting for the others to come. Zi jun came later.

Me, xi rong and yeong jong went to jusco to buy a birthday present to the saturday birthday girl that i had already mentin her just now. Xi rong stood there for at least 5 minutes and scolded why no one come? Finally, he saw the 'kaunter tutup' sign.

Xi rong was angry for his 'bungkus' present. Is 'balut' right?

Chan long and jia yun in red box.Xi rong and eunice yap. One handsome and the other one pretty.

A very nice picture of my 'gor' and 'jie'. If you think it's nice, pls give feedback. Chan long counting the money. Wow, lots of $$$
Me and my family. Jia chi ( jie), Zi jun ( gor) and me.

Yours sincerely,

Chia Yee

Back to the memory lane of 40

2009

31/7/09

Probay met the senior

30/10/09

At last, freedom (from senior) INSTALLATION

20/11/09

Registration day for the new comers from primary school

First projek as it worked smoothly. And of course, with seniors help.

30/12/09

Orientation day. Second projek. Worked without seniors. Maybe it's not very easy, but with our unity, yes, it worked successfully.

2010

4/1/10

First day to school. Everything seems ok. Meeting. Xi rong talked about 22 things, jia yun, hong liang not much things to say, hui yi said about 'how to spot check' that made us laugh and lastly zi jun said about the flags and cleaning things.

15/1/10

Meeting about our third projek --- 'Hari Gerko'.

18/1/10

Sie kei's birthday. She's been splashed and had a high fever after that.

23/1/10

This day is sheng jie's birthday. Sang birthday song to him. Too loud and the students complained.

29/1/10

Meeting with pn. cheam. Not counted, really, not counted. Said about the arguement between form 2 prefects. Made pn. cheam disappointed. This meeting did not make a lot of changes. Still the same thing. Hope we can be unite from now on.

5/2/10 -- 6/2/10

Zi jun's birthday come first then mine. Zi jun been splash till his whole attire wet. Very wet, from top to bottom. The next day is 'merentas desa'. Form 2 prefects no need to do duty, need to run. But most of us WALK, of course, relax.

8/2/10 -- 9/2/10

Kai sheng's and Chan long's birthday. So much prefect's birthday on february.

12/2/10

Meeting again. Xi rong apologized to us. We had already forgive him. He don't want any misunderstanding. Next, wan ting cried, because of 'him'. I think you all will know, if you don't know, nevermind. Sometimes you don't know is better than you know.

14/2/10

Chinese new year.

19/2/10

First time 'prefect outing'. Saw ' percy jackson and the lightning thief '. Went to red box. Bought a present for jia yun as it's her birthday on the next day.

5/3/10 -- 12/3/10

First exam. Sure scare. Everyday revise in the prefect room, told tips to each other, and also revise during duty (actually we can't read when we're doing duty, but you know, exam much important to us).

13/3/10

Chiew theng's birthday. Happy birthday. Too bad it's a saturday, or else you will be very wet.

17/3/10 -- 19/3/10

Prefect camp with seniors. Happy? Or maybe sad? Still don't know. It will be a new experience for all of us.

Can 40 of us be unite? Maybe we can, unite again. No war, no arguement, no sadness. Wish 40 of us be happy, lucky and unite.

Yours sincerely,

chiayee
