The Trainee Series: The Trainee Series consists of Wilson, Koko, and Brewster, who are the three main characters in the Chuggington Series. If you are looking for a great gift for a new Chuggington fan, these would be (at least in my opinion!) the best choice.

Chuggington - Clunky Wilson book

If your child is a fan of the Chugger Wilson, be sure to check out this book!

Chuggington – Clunky Wilson is a hardcover book containing 26 pages as well as over 40 stickers. The 40 stickers contain pictures of Chuggington characters as well as words of encouragement for the beginning reader such as “well done”, “good try”, and “let’s read again”.

The storyline follows the “Clunky Wilson” episode. In this story, Wilson damages his wheel when racing Koko and Brewster. In the beginning, Wilson is scared to visit the repair shed to fix the problem. However, as Wilson’s wheel gets worse, he realizes he needs to put his fear aside in order to get better.

The theme of this story is about learning to be brave as well as understanding the importance of personal care. Chuggington – Clunky Wilson will make a great gift for a beginning reader!

Launch and Go Roundhouse Pack

Although the date for the release of this toy in the United States is not yet know, the Chuggington Launch and Go Roundhouse Pack looks like it will be a great starter train set. It appears to include the Die-Cast Trainee toy pack as well as a roundhouse, launching station, and some track. Let’s hope that more information and a release date is available soon!

Chuggington Can't Catch Koko

This is another book in the Chuggington series that is currently available for shipment to the United States!

Chuggington – Can’t Catch Koko is a hardback book with 26 pages that has the same storyline as the Chuggington “Can’t Catch Koko” episode.

In this story, Koko, Wilson and Brewster are very excited to go on a night run, but Koko is sure that Brewster is too slow for her. Koko calls Brewster a “slow coach” and races ahead, but then her engine stops and she can’t get started again. Koko realizes that she needs help from Wilson and Brewster. But will Brewster be willing to help after Koko has made fun of him?

This story teaches the lessons of being humble and realizing that everyone has strengths and weaknesses.

Chuggington - My First Little Library

This adorable little board book set is now available for shipment to the United States!

Chuggington – My First Little Library contains six board books that introduce the concepts of numbers, colors, shapes, opposites, and sounds. The backs of the board books have different pictures on them that can be put together to form a Chuggington picture puzzle, and there is a sheet of 10 free Chuggington stickers that are included.

Chuggington Roundhouse Romp iPhone application (from itunes.apple.com)

The Chuggington Roundhouse Romp iPhone application for the iPhone and iPod touch is now a free download! It is a pretty simple game that is suitable for younger children. Basically, you try to tap the trains as they come out of the roundhouse (think of the whack-a-mole games at carnivals) in a specified amount of time. After completing a level, your child is rewarded with a video clip from Chuggington!
