Your Church111 church website is a great tool for reaching both your audiences: new visitors and existing members. It's important to serve both audiences with the content on your church website site. Prospective Church MembersA prospective church member will want to know who you are and what you believe when they visit your church website for the first time. An "About Us" or "Our Beliefs" page can be an easy way for visitors to learn more about your congregation. You will want to include information about your church leadership as well and the various ministries that are important to you. If there is something unique or special about your church, be sure to highlight it when you are developing content. Try to think like a new visitor and help them find out what they want to know about your church easily and quickly.Existing Church MembersYour existing church members may already know the basics, so you want to serve them with other kinds of information. Many churches who already have websites contacted us for a mobile ready, responsive redesign so their website could be easily viewed from mobile devices. The cost of changing a Church111 website from a regular web design that is designed only for a desktop to a custom mobile ready design can be under $1000, but many churches have opted for more sophisticated and expensive custom Church website designs to better serve the needs of their congregations.Church Website Portfolio:Check out more examples of custom church website designs.
What is it?You may have noticed some websites work well on any device from a desktop to a laptop to a tablet held vertically or horizontally to a phone. That capability is delivered through something called Responsive Design. The site "responds" to the width of the screen and delivers its content in an appropriate way specially for that screen size. How Can I Tell if a Site is Responsive? You can check whether a site is responsive by opening it in a browser on a desktop computer. Grab the side of the browser and as you narrow the width, notice what happens to the website. If it changes as you get narrower, the site is responsive. To see it in action, try it on our example site. How Can I Get It?As you might imagine, responsive design costs a little more because we have to design the site several times for the different views. Fortunately, just about any design can be modified to be responsive, so give us a call and we can tell you what it might take in your case.If you are ready...

There are some easy steps to give your church website the best chance it can get.Fill in your HTML meta tags. These are for search engines. You will find boxes for these tags under the main content box while editing your Home Page. The "HTML Title" is the name of your page. The "HTML Keywords" are what the search engine reads to decide what your site is about.Add content to your page that reflects your keywords. Write a few paragraphs on each page that are relevant to the keywords you are using for that page.
