It’s always a tricky mix and balance between offering non-developers access to the ecosystem. In the short-term you could get a lot of sub-par apps and a lot of copy cats but in the long-run you may plant the seeds in the younger generation of developers.

The numbers don’t lie and as more mobile and connected devices become more mature and more attractive, well, more and more people will be buying them.

Come to think of it, the last time I owned a desktop PC was in 2003. Wow! I can’t believe it was that long ago.

How many of you still actively use a desktop PC? If not, when was the last time that you had one?

It’s too rubbery.

It’s too flimsy.

It doesn’t fit into my pocket easily.

The back-cover part is annoyingly-scratchy.

I can’t reach the “mute” button easily.

The rubber covers for the up/down volume controls are not placed correctly.

The bottom of the case is already ripping.

It might as well be something like the image to the right.

I busted out my iPhone 4 and caught some footage:

The actual application wasn’t too great since it seemed to force a registration for new users, which obviously slowed down the process, but I liked the concept in general.
