Leadership is all about how you do it under higher authority within the leadership & also how you handle situations within a group in a church under the leadership of the church.
If you have someone that is taking you under their wing they will show you & teach you about leadership over a period of time. They will have the ability to see the potential of a future leader within you !
Also you got to realise that leadership is not for everyone. The church future exists in the young people of the church!!! That is were all the leaders will come from.

Its a blessing to be young & in leadership because you will learn from other leaders within the church!
Once they see the potential in you for leadership they will take you under their wing & be your mentor ! Trust me were you will grow close to them & learn of their mistakes only so that u wouldn't make them once you are older & in a higher place within the leadership. The future of the church is the young people! They have to get trained so they now what to do in a situation or in any situations!

Day after day I sit here watching historical moments being made was our new church building is being built! They are all most done on the out side. It looks like they are putting in the windows or preparing to put them in.

Its amazing how God allowed us to build this church building ( still building) ! There were every little fiery darts being fired at us but we kept believing Gods word & praying & seeking his face & we have overcome those fiery darts!!! Its just really amazing & awesome seeing how God can take you through something as a church family!!! Even having the church beams when constructed the first time fall down!!! But Gods hand was a upon us ( his protection) !

Very early Pastor Curry (my pastor) writes these short or some times medium length devotionals everyday. Even tho they are short or otherwise medium length they are very powerful. They have good pointers as to how to think & live as a christian . It also has situation pointers which are very good if you are ever in a situation that he might have written about a few days or even months ago!!! Im soo glad he has started this. I read it everyday in the mornings before I get into my car & drive to work!! Sometimes God makes the though for the day come alive!!! Its totally awesome to see how God can use something so little & small but yet very powerful so powerful that it could or would change my day or even my life!!!

Leadership Responsibility

I was given some leader responsibility & im doing great at it! There's this attitude or leadership that just comes over me when im teaching & also just talking to my dancer that i am teaching.(giving her advice etc.)
when i was just sitting down & watching her do her thing with the choir practicing. I was able to discerned or pick up that gifting of a god given talent to be able to do 2 banners in one hand.

Right now im learning one of many lessons within a leader. There are some things that will bug you about a certain person but you have to not let that be annoying to you or get to you. I know what im talking about. Its like u just what to throw a fit because this one person is soo annoying & is doing the something over & over intill u want to just scream!!!!! But I guess I have to just swallow it & try to ignore it as much as possible.

You also got to remember some folks have a very gentle spirit & can easily get offended. But the only thing I can do is keep praying within my mind in tongues from keeping myself to do or offend someone very very easily!!!! & even more so if that person or people are very annoying even if they doing it unanntenually or if they don't know that they are doing it.

If God has put you in a position within the church leadership he has something for you to do for him thats very important its like being a secret agent for him on a mission! If he was put you there he will give you the grace & mercy & everything that you will need to have to get the mission done! But don't thing that you aren't going to go through the everyday trails that the devil will try to pull on ya or if its you battling the spirit man.

When u are in the leadership of a church the members don’t only watch your every move in church every Sunday they also may or may not watch u when u are outside of church as well. I’ll give u some examples :

1. when u are at a restaurant u might not know if some one is watching how well you treat your waiter or waitress .

2. At the mall they could be there watching you react different ways if u are when a group of friends or see what stores u go into & on top of that watch what type of cloths u buy or wear.

3. see what types of movies u are going into especially the ones that ur church doesn’t believe in at all!!!.

U all was got to keep in mind that there could be someone from your church watching u went you are out in public
I ever knew this before but I can’t say that now! lol
So when I heard this one nite it was like a wake up call to me!!! I’ve never thought that being in a church leadership would have this type of thing on you. What I mean about that is look at the royal family of London . Or if you have ever watched princess dairies the movies they were watched every little movement they did even if they thought sometimes that no one was watching them. This even includes worship dancers as well to a certain level!!! Sometimes u have to watch your body language & your attitude even your emotional expressions if they come out real strong.

Getting Permission - Within Leadership

If you would like to do something & it requires permission there is a certain way for it to be done. 1st of all you have to have a basic knowledge of what person takes care of different things with in the leadership. Then want you would go & do is either talk to then by phone , e-mail or ask them at church. The waiting period has begun ! If you call that person by phone they might give you a direct answer or l will let u know after I find out – type of answer. If you e-mail them it might take a while before u actually hear back form them. If u asked them at church like I said about if u call them it might be the same way too as well.
Now these are just examples of different situations with in the church leadership. If they don’t get back to u in a few months then go back & ask a again but don’t keep asking so much that it actually starts to get annoying to them.

InSight of Protocol

Protocol is all about submissive to the authority of another person within the leadership. If u like the answer the person gives u or not. You have to submit to what they say you can or can’t do in whatever question you are asking them.
Sometimes I have to admit I don’t like it either at times but I just have trust God with the leadership HE appointed within the church where im currently at. I don’t know if im called to be in the leadership of a church later down the road in my life. But just like I have the passion to dance I also have a passion for leadership / protocol!

For some reason i love the protocol within leadership in the church!!!
I guess its the level of authority & respect for that individual in the leadership.
& still wondering why some people don't get the whole protocol thing : how it works & everything.
