One of the projects listed there was RECONCILE, an organization that works to rebuild war-torn communities in South Sudan. RECONCILE’s emphasis on civic education and social transformation seemed to make it a perfect match.... Election Violence Nigerian Presidential elections occurred on Saturday and there has been violence Sunday and Monday. Supporters of one party are angry that their candidate did not win. The month of November flew by, with classes and conferences and a lot of work for peace! KBC final exams started December 1st and finished on December 4th. The KBC school year has come to a close for 2010 (the academic year runs January-December) and 20 students in the Certificate in Christian Ministry class will graduate on December 10th. After months of uncertainty, our long wait ended and we began to move. We moved by car from Lancaster County, PA to Philadelphia, stopping for a few hours to see Nate?s brother. We moved out of Philadelphia and on to Frankfurt, Germany. There has been a delay in our news?there has been a delay in our work in Nigeria. Recently, we may have surprised some of you by showing up in an unexpected place?namely, somewhere in Pennsylvania.
