ANZAC Day now goes beyond the anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli in 1915. It is the day we remember all Australians who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and operations. The spirit of ANZAC, with its human qualities of courage, mateship, and sacrifice, continues to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity.

This Thursday, take time to attend a ceremony or pause to remember and acknowledge those who have served and died for our country.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
