Everyday as woman we each have a routine to getting ready for the day. We wake up to start our daily routines and conquer the day. Some may start the day with yoga or exercise, others my start with reading emails and coffee, while others start off by getting their families ready. This is why Dove conducted a survey with Latinas all across the US to get a better understanding about their daily beauty routines. The survey revealed surprising results, deodorant was the one thing they never want to skip and it made Latinas feel more confident when wearing it. Forgetting to wear deodorant can greatly impact their confidence and made Latinas feel self-conscious, causing them to shy away from others. I know it does affect me, if I ever forget to wear deodorant it will make me feel very self-conscious all day long and worry about order. I have always been super conscious about order and never want to be the "stinky" one. We all have things to worry and stress about in our daily lives, wetness and order shouldn't be one of them.

I'v been using Dove products for several years and recently had the opportunity to try out the Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant. The deodorant comes in several scents like soothing chamomile with 48 hour protection to keep order and wetness away. Dove Advanced Care contains NutriumMoisture which helps keep your underarm skin smooth and soft. I really enjoyed the soft and subtle scent of chamomile, which isn't too strong and over powering. My underarm skin has felt very soft and hasn't stained my clothing at all. I definitely felt protected and fresh using Dove Advanced Care.

The Dove survey reveals as well that Latinas care about how their underarms feel and look. Many woman have experienced irritation, dry skin, uneven tone and other problems. So when you can use a product that helps with order, wetness and can make your underarms look and feel better its a winning combo in my book!

Deodorant is one of those products we all use and need, but we don't talk about often. It's an essential personal care product that gets overlooked. Did you know October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month? I had no idea, since domestic violence is not a commonly talked about subject. This project was started 3 years ago by Allstate to raise money and bring awareness to domestic violence in the US.

Domestic Violence affects 1 in 4 women, which is more than breast cancer, ovarian cancer and lung cancer combined. Yet no one is talking about it, but today we can all do our part to make a difference and help out those woman and children affected. You don’t have to be a victim or suffered some type of domestic violence to participate. It’s very easy and doesn't cost you a thing…it all starts with a Purple Purse. I was sent a cute little Purple Purse to share and pass along to other women. Inside the purse is a code you enter at www.purpleurse.com and every time a code is entered The Allstate Foundation will donate $5 to YWCA up to $350,000 can be earned for programs aimed to help domestic violence survivors stop the cycle of abuse.

A majority of Americans agree that domestic violence is tough to talk about. More than one-third of Americans have never discussed the issue with family or friends and Purple Purse provides a conversation starter. I know it’s not something ever discussed with my family or friends. Although I have never personally been a victim of domestic violence, I know woman who have been and sadly witnessed someone being abused as a child. The memory of this woman being hit by her boyfriend is forever ingrained in my memory. As a child I didn't understand why this was happening and couldn't do anything about it. Now we can all help with The Purple Purse Project.

Tips To Embrace Your Belleza Latina & Fight #ALLERGYFACE

Here are three tips I have learned to deal with ALLERGY FACE.

1. Use a primer under your makeup. Using a primer can give your skin a smoother appearance, filling fine lines and pores on your face. Avoding using less foundation can help when you have a puffy face and give you a more natural look to enhance your natural belleza.

2. Use a bronzer to give definition to your face. When you use a bronzer, focus on your contours of your face to chisel the face and take away the appearance of puffiness. One with a little shimmer can help wake up your face a give a glow to make you look more alert.

3. Use a green corrector for red spots. Using a green concealer helps cancel the red undertones on your face. Using it on your nose, cheeks or anywhere else you have red spots.

Having allergies and dealing with ALLERGY FACE is no fun no matter what age you are or what season it maybe. Embracing your natural bellaza and a few little beauty tricks can help you overcome those days when you’re not feeling or looking your best due to allergies.

Neutrogena Beautiful Inside and Out

Awhile back, I had the opportunity to preview and review some skincare products from Neutorgena. You can read my post here. Now thanks to Neutorgena and LBC I am able to review some of their makeup products as well. I have known and used Neutrogena on and off since high school. Their skincare products are wonderful and always give me great results. For some strange reason which I can’t explain, I have never tried or used their cosmetics. I finally did and have some good news to report, they are pretty wonderful as well. I received a beauty package for spring courtesy of Neutorgena.

My beauty package included the following products:

•Pink Grapefruit line

•RTR Moisturizer

•Ultra SheerSunscreen

•Shine Control Line

•Healthy LengthsMascara

•MoistureSmooth ColorStick

The beauty package also came with a beauty and skincare regime by Elizabeth Ulloa Neutorgena Hispanic Beauty Ambassador. I always do better when makeup comes with pictures and detailed instructions. I followed the step by step regime to get the best results.

When it came to the cosmetics part, I was most excited. This was my first time using Neutorgena makeup. I will give you a quick run down of what I used.

1) Started with Neutrogena Shine Control Primer, which I am not accustomed to using primer. I loved it as it helped smooth out my skin and really did keep me shine free for hours.

2) Followed by Shine Control Make up in Buff. The color matched my skin perfectly and covered my red spots & blemishes. Only thing I noticed was once I rubbed it in my skin it felt a little grainy. Not sure why, but I didn't have sponges to apply the foundation. End result was good and I was happy with coverage.

3) Finished with Shine Control Powder which is invisible and can be used by many skin colors. This help set the foundation and made my face look matte and no shine was visible.

4) For eyes I used the new Crease Proof Eyeshadow in Constant Copper. Shade was light and shimmery, easy to apply and really didn't crease. Love it! I really do have an issue with eye shadows creasing and fading on my eyelids. This eyeshadow lived it up to the claims.

5) Applied Healthy Lengths Mascara, which claims to make lashes look 100% longer. Well having short lashes not sure how much 100% longer really is for me. I did like the applicator wand on this mascara. It came out of tube with just enough on applicator so I didn't have to wipe off lots of excess, which is a big pet peeve of mine with mascara.

6) Finished off the whole look with MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Juicy Peach. First thing you notice when you open the stick is the scent. OMG it really smelled like peach, yum! The color is sheer and moisturizing to your lips. The color is light but has shine and makes your lips look luscious. ;)

Using the step by step guide provided by Neutrogena

Verdict from my first time using Neutorgena makeup is a big thumbs up. I was impressed with the results and products are easy to use. It took me no more than 10 mins to complete all the steps. With more use I am sure it can be cut down to 5-6 mins. The outcome was a fresh natural look, great for spring and summer. I don't like to wear heavy makeup and with the hotter months ahead, this routine will be a life saver.

My favorites are the Shine Control Primer, which I plan to use everyday. The primer really helped keep my face shine free and the make up didn't seem to rub off as easily. The Healthy Lengths Mascara, which for me was mess free and had no clumps. As well as the yummy smelling MositureSmooth Color Sticks, made my lips feel soft and gave just the right amount of shine.

The results, natural, fresh and light coverage. My face loves Neutrogena ;)

My Own Cover, I'm So Lucky!

Have you ever wanted to be a cover girl? I don't mean like the make up either. An actual magazine cover girl. Well my favorite magazine Lucky is making it happen. Today on the Lucky Community blog I noticed they have this new cool app. You can upload your picture on a cover of Lucky Magazine. Its so cute and cool, easy to to do as well. Once your cover is done you can share it with the world, OK mainly with Facebook and Twitter. I couldn't help my self and made two different covers, kinda cheesy but so fun! 10 days and counting until my birthday! I am actually counting down the days until I can shop again. I gave up shopping for Lent and will officially be able to shop on April 24th (Easter Sunday) Since my Bday is a few days later, I decided what better way to celebrate than go on a shopping spree. WOOHOO! I'm a very casual laid back person so this outfit is something I would wear to go shopping. Always want to look cute of course, but still comfortable for the hours of shopping I plan to do...LOL This is a wish list outfit so I incorporated some colorful accessories like the belt and bag. I normally don't wear bright colors but with just a hint of color its doable in my wardrobe. Lately I have also been digging hats, and need one asap! I posted a picture on my Tumblr of a hat I found and loved. Because of my shopping ban I didn't purchase it, hope its still there when I go back!
