This is a hearty smoke with nice tastes of espresso, ginger, and leather. It is fairly consistent witha perfect burn. This is an excellent cigar with well aged tobacco, and has a nice nicotine punch.

La Flor Dominicana’s ligeros and double ligeros have always been some of my favorites. I think these are right on par with the double ligeros as far as strength goes. I don’t recommend smoking them on an empty stomach.

It seems like CA only gives out a few 94+ ratings per year, so whenever they do I usually try one. It was great, and I ordered a box. The one I smoked last night reminded me that I need t write about these. These are a torpedo shaped smoke with a dark wrapper. They have a complex earthy flavor with some nice spicy pepper to them as well. The box has been pretty consistent so far. I would say that they are medium to full-bodied. Definitely worth trying and keeping a few on hand if you like the medium to full bodied smokes.

I finally got around to installing the WordPress app on my Samsung Captivate android phone (which I like much more than the iphone I posted from previously). So I should be doing some more reviews again soon.

During the interim, I have ordered quite a few boxes of some great cigars. I really like the Oliva Serie V’s and I never seem to get tired of their full, complex flavor. I’m on my 4th box, and I’ve tried the figurados, churchills, torpedos and belicosos. They are all awesome. I’ve never been dissapointed by their construction or flavor.

I recently got a box of Romeo y Julieta cedro deluxe no.1, and these too have been some of my favorite cigars the past few years. They are medium bodied, with a really nice cedar aroma and flavor. The price is great too, when you can get a box from famous-smoke.com for around $80.

The Lito Gomez cigars are awesome, powerful smokes that you should definitely try if you like full bodied ligeros. I’ve purchased quite a few singles, but there doesn’t seem to be any deals floating around on boxes of them.

I tried the Montecristo platinums, which were peppery and full bodied, but I wasn’t much impressed because they seemed pretty one dimensional.

The Graycliff blue labels were a recent medium bodied smoke I liked, but I can’t think of anything else recently that stands out.

The construction on these things is unbelievably poor. Every one I’ve smoked is riddled with hard and soft spots throughout. One felt like it had a branch in it, and this one spouted a blow hole about an inch back after being lit. I’ve actually never seen a cigar do something like this before. It was erupting like a BP welhead.

The flavor is pretty one dimensional, earthy.

If you’re looking to save some money on some ligeros, like I was when I decided to try a 5 pack of these, you’ll do better waiting for some premium cigars to go on sale.

I was pleasantly greeted with a nice peppery start with tastes of honey and wood. The smoke has a nice spicy scent when inhaled too. Tastes familiar in fact, to some of my favorite Fuentes, the Opus X, but at a much better price point. This is my second ff 858, and both have had perfect construction. Both really nice flavor and burn. I would definitely call them full bodied. This is a definite candidate for a box purchase for every day smokes. It is an excellent cigar.

It has an easy draw with good volume of smoke and tight speckled ash. It has a touch of the tea like aroma I noticed in the older PLR I reviewed. It finishes off nice and is an excellent cigar.

Expecting it to be mild (based on some larger sized Upmanns I’ve had in the past), I was surprised at the full flavor this small corona had. It was creamy with hints of leather and coffee. A little pepper noted also, but really nice when inhaled through the nose. The burn was perfect, and I would definitely buy one again. This was an excellent cigar.

The first one I had was a tight draw, but this second one draws nice and seems well constructed. I didn’t write my review on the first one because I figured it was probably not the norm, and Cain’s cigars are usually well constructed and consistent in that regard. This cigar has a bit more of a flavor profile than the regular Cains. It is earthy with hints of leather and a fruity flavor. Also noted is some licorice taste. It is full bodied, and the ligero filler packs some nicotine. This is an excellent cigar.

This is an incredible cigar that was given to me by a friend. The prelight draw has tastes of cocoa amd nutmeg. It starts off very smooth and with a medium body and sweet spicy smoke that is delightful when passed through the sinuses. It has a complex flavor of cocoa, caramel, and spice. Midway through I taste some hazelnut and coffee flavors, and the cigar is more full bodied. It finishes off with some more pepper and full bodied. This is truly am exceptional cigar that I highly recommend. I am going to be looking for a box of these soon.
