Conference Questions
Q: Now that early registration deadlines have passed, it is difficult to find reasonable accomodate near the Hyatt. Any Suggestions?

Q: Do library of science students get a discount on the registration fee?

A: The Government & & Sepcial Libraries streams are just another way of looking at the sessions available at CIL. I pulled out some of the sessions related to the those topics from the already planned tracks just to highlight for our attendees who are interested. Q: Does anyone know the distance between the Hyatt and the other off-site hotel that is part of the conference lodging option?
Note from Show Management:
Shuttle service will be provided to attendees staying at the Best Western Penatagon Hotel each morning and afternoon on the main days of the conference (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
Inn & & a Hilton that are both an easy walk, not sure if they're part of the conference rate though.
A: The Courtyard Marriott is right next door to the Hyatt.
Q: Are free exhibit visitor passes available for someone attending with a conference registrant?

This session focuses on successful strategies for experimenting with, trusting, and integrating Web 2.0 tools in an organization’s daily work. It covers marketing strange new tools to an idiosyncratic group of library users with extremely specific needs and whose discipline, art history, has typically relied on more traditional resources. Speakers demonstrate how the library staff quickly adopted Web 2.0 tools, created winning presentations for all museum staff dealing with the relevancy of these tools to scholarly research, the concern with authority and security.

Hi, my name is Roger Skalbeck. I'm a law librarian at Georgetown Law Library in Washington, D.C. I designed and run the law library's website, and I manage our blog, called Due Process. I have written articles for LLRX.com, I write a column called "Tech Talk" for Law Library Lights and I am on the board of the Law Librarian's Society of Washington, D.C. I like palindromes, sushi and German arts and humor.
