Then just when we thought the whole thing was ready to go with Sam Raimi directing and Tobey Maguire back in the blue in red, last week this bomb dropped on Spidey’s head. Word was the problems with the script could delay the

Old Dogs...by Dawn Taylor

"Avatar," a live action film with a new generation of special effects, takes us to a spectacular world beyond imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery as he leads an epic battle to save a civilization. James Cameron, the Oscar-winning director of "Titanic," first conceived the film years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not yet exist. Winner of five Academy Awards including Best Picture, and nominated for an additional seven, Gladiator is one of the best produced and directed films of its time. Reminiscent of Mel Gibson's Braveheart, it creates a world so seemingly realistic, you find yourself drawn backward in time to the glory days of Rome. The musical score, colorful costumes, and intricate sets combine to create the

Steven Spielberg has withdrawn from "Harvey"

Steven Spielberg has withdrawn from “Harvey.” He spent the past half year developing the pic, his first directing vehicle for the reconstituted DreamWorks.

Spielberg delivered the news this week to 20th Century Fox, which had earmarked soundstages on the lot for an early 2010 production start. Fox had agreed to have DreamWorks finance 50% of production through its new funding relationship with

"Braveheart"... Why is that person laughing at a scary time like this? It is possible that the person behind you at the theater is simply trying to act tough or maybe he is a jerk. However, it may also have to do with his genes.

Scientists say different versions of the same gene linked to anxiety can explain the way in which some people are not affected, while others enjoy the suspense and the gore. I would like to introduce you to a new concept and something that we at InnerSpect address in our one-on-one coaching: the concept of ‘Perceptual Filters.’ What are ‘Perceptual Filters’ you might ask? For those of you who wear glasses, it’s an easy concept to identify with. When you put your glasses on, what are you doing? You are looking through a filter (in its most literal sense) and seeing

drag me to hell...mistakes

This fascination for a prequel to the most famous space saga of all period sustained all through the times. On 1991, for instance, the 6th Star Trek movie was intended to present a new set of stars who would’ve played the younger accounts of the conventionl member. In 2001,

"Fantastic Mr Fox" By Nathaniel Edwards

The animation is beautiful if you don't mind the sometimes blocky movement of the characters, and as usual, Anderson has used a sort of idiosyncratic soundtrack mostly made up out of Burl Ives and

2012... The Mayans had a talent for astronomy, and enthusiasts have found a series of astronomical alignments they say coincide in 2012, including one that happens roughly only once every 25,800 years. Once every 25,800 years, the sun lines up with the center of our Milky Way galaxy on a
