Decided to go out and listen to my friend and theatre coleague sing, Mache. He has a beautiful voice and he's a great entertainer. He's one of the most known singers in the city.

Photo Pub is almost always full of people..and like most of the romanian pubs/bars, the decent ventilation is non of their priority...unfortunately. So for the non smokers, as myself, that is the fist thing that's gonna scream right at me: "Get out as fast as you can!" . This is when I remember how much I miss the american pubs and locals... Here, if you stay more than 30 min in a pub, even you freakin' underwear smells like tobacco, which sucks big time...not to mention my hair smells horrid and my eyes start to water.

So....of course, I couldn't stay till the end of his performance; but the songs that I listened were beautiful. :) Time to shower...

I like playing with colours...and the theatre pictures of my characters ar perfect to do that. It's fun to see how you would have looked in a past era. Check out the pics below...I'd probably never dye my hair blonde...in fact, I'm against dying my hair at all. I'm trying to keep it as natural and as healthy I can. A wig will do on stage or on Holloween. :)

I'll always love animals....especially the closest ones to the human beings, as cats and dogs. The balck cat in the pic, is just a friendly neighborhood visitor that we started feeding for a couple of days now. It's just sweet and it has an interesting habit with it's front paws. He's so cute! :)

More pictures from theatre shows...cause, to be honest, theatre represents more than 50 % of my life. This is the Foxy that I'm playing in a theatre show called "Once upon a time in...America". I have a lot of fun during this performance. It's mostly made for kids, but any adult will enjoy it also. Not to mention we have cute outfits and funny face paintings. I love to do (as you already might know) my own make up, so this is just another great way to paint. Enjoy the pics, see ya soon!

A new hobby of my bf is (and will be for a while) the airsoft everything. I'm not gonna get in to it to much. It's just a guy thing that makes him happy. They're still kids, just with bigger guns, right? :))

I love waiting for my man at home with a steamy dinner, as well as I do love to feed the dear ones in my life.

So, while he went to meet "the boyz" this afternoon, I had a litlle bit of free time to make a quiche and his fave chicken soup. There's nothing more rewarding that the look on his face when he gets back at home starving, and he sees the meal waiting for him on the kitchen's table. :) What more can I say? :)

All Hallows' Evening was close and I still didn't knew what I was going to be. Early this month I came across this indian costume @theatre...and I said... yes...this is it! I googled some indian genuine signs to draw on my face (I was a Cocopah Cucapa, with a Fiesta face paiting http://www.kumeyaay.info/body_paint_pigments.html) ... paired the costume with some Stradivarius pants and Zara boots, straightened my hair...and that was all!

We hit the Coffe Time (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Coffee-Time/111077792310695) party and after a couple of hours we mooved to Zen Lounge to closure a really nice fun Holloween night. We took with us the 3 new actors that came to our theatre recently, and everything was just wonderful!

This one above (red and white stripes) was me! :)

Mate had to be a voivode in Targoviste, for the city's festive days...and not any voivod...he was Vlad Tepes aka Vald the Impaler - here's more about him:
Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431–1476), also known by his patronymic name Dracula (son of the Dragon, and posthumously dubbed Vlad the Impaler was a three-time Voivode of Wallachia, ruling mainly from 1456 to 1462, the period of the incipient Ottoman conquest of the Balkans. His father was a member of the Order of the Dragon (Dracul) which was founded to protect Christianity in Europe. Dracula means son of the Dragon to indicate his father's title within the Order of the Dragon.
Vlad III is remembered for spending much of his rule campaigning efforts against the Ottoman Empire and its expansion and for the impaling of enemies. Already during his lifetime, his reputation of excessive cruelty spread abroad, to Germany and elsewhere in Europe. The total number of his victims is estimated in the tens of thousands. The name of the vampire Count Dracula in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula was inspired by Vlad's patronymic.

I was more than happy to do the photos throughout the entire process, from the moment they tried on their costumes and crowns, beards and mustaches, the city parade and till the moment of the final group picture in the fortress. It was a beautiful experience, filled with history. :)

It's weird being back home...after the wonderful experience I had with Austria, Germany, Belgium, UK and, to top it off, Paris~France...it was absolutely amazing we've managed to do all this! Just to extend the beautiful taste and smell of foreign countries, have in the shower, 3 UK 1 pound gels...that are inexpensive and quite amazing. The Lime one is my fave, beacuse of its smell, the mint one will wake you up even if you drank for a whole week non stop, and the pineapple one reminds me o fresh juices. The candle was a gift after we finished the first camp...that was sweet!

So, september...can't wait to see what autumn will bring...the weather is still wondeful, so...skirt on! :D

Dreams do come true...La Tour Eiffel... 360°

The first tiem I saw the tour...it was breathtakin'. There are no words to describe the vibe of this city at the end of august...but you could see on every face that they are happy to be here. I was one of those faces in the crowd! We took hundreds of photos, I will post a lot, because I love them all. We chose to climb the stairs up to the second floor, just to experience that feeling...and then we took the lift to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Paris from the top of the tower it's amazing! I loved the view, the postcards inside the Eiffel Shop, the wax statue of Eiffel, Mate's face when he got to the second floor...he was sooo scared, I loved the way the tower looks by night and all the enthusiasm on people's faces, the Seine river...I loved many things! I will remember it for the rest of my life. This was a dream came true!

Again...the pics say more that words can describe!

After the Disco night, I went to bed exhausted...the next day, managed to pack really quickly, and by noon, we were all ready to hit the road back to Belgium. This time, we passed the canal with the Euro Tunnel. And after some good hours of driving, we've arrived to Ghent, where Mate's car was waiting for us.

I was telling you that we were going to visit Paris, right? Well, for the first time in my life, I was going to to see PARIS!

the end of a second era...

This is the last night of the Langley 4 camp...the Disco night, where the teens are dancing and having fun, and we, the stuff, keep an eye on them and talk with eachother. Here's the Loddon walk again...Surprisingly, this year we had good sunny weather almost all the time, except Norwich, when it rained almost all the time. So, yes, I love that! We're almost at the half way of the second Langley camp for me...and I must say I'm a bit tired, but when I look aound I only have reasons to smile and feel great. Did I mention that we, assistants, have to do a workshop...and that this camp I'm partener for a Kick-Boxing and Latino Dances workshop? That sounds mad, doesn't it?

Here I am...the second camp, the second trip to Norwich...Visited the Norwitch Castle Museum and Art Gallery (http://www.visitnorwich.co.uk/popup.aspx?i=7&et=6) -which used to be a prison in the Middle Ages- and then we hit the bowling alley - with a team of girls, this time! Had super fun! And then, off to do some damage in the Norwitch mall ... :D Enjoy the pics!

So today the rest of the staff for Langley 4 came and I was glad to see familiar faces from last year. It's going to be a great camp! The teens are coming tomorrow, so that gave me time to enjoy the lovely weather around the old castle that hosts the Langley school. And I can show you the surroundings and some things I absolutely love...

These are the trees I adore...I call them dinosaur trees, cause they look just like the ones from the Jurrasic Park movies...and everytime I pass near them, I imagine dinosaurs shaking the gorunds with their giant steps. How's that for a plot..?? :D :D These are trees that you're never going to see in Romania, that's for sure! So, I love them very much!

Givenchy

Remember the beginning of the journey to UK? I was talking about the ferry duty free area...this is what I bought for the make up section. The Givenchy Travel Collection Make-Up Palette. I was looking for another Givenchi eye shadows pallete, but since there was no trace of it, I took this one. So I can try all the basic makeup things: lip stain, mascara, eye shadows, face powder and blush. I didn't had time to take some pics when it was brand new, so... before I hit the pan...here they are! :D

I really like the face powder; the blush...hmmm ...it's coming out too much product each time I blend the brush in. I love the lip colors, the texture and the shades -thumbs up for that( the pink one is my fave). The Eye Fly Mascare was also great, it covers your lashes in a nice color and it's not at all heavy on your lashes. Nice! I was a bit disappointed with the eye shadows...the light ones, no mather how much product you stack on your lid, they are almost invisible. And the same thing like the blush, it comes out a lot of powder when you start working your brush in. That's my opinion. It's not a waste of money, because I tried a lot of things from this high end brand, but I don't think I would buy it again. Hope this helps the make-up lovers! :)

The George and Dragon ...or the end of the first camp

Up here it's the Kissing Line... :D :D at the end of the last night of the camp, after we all party-well, the kids do mostly- all the boys kissed the ladies good night. How sweet is that? :) Here I am with Zuzana in the dark of the party ... :D :D Another person whom I will miss! Wonderful lady!

Here is all the Langley 3 staff crew (teachers, assistans, camp directors, managers ). Lovely group pics! Nice people! Check out the next pic with us foolin' around. Definitely love that better! :D :D

After the kids left for Belgium, in the evening, all the staff members that were going to do the next camp also (Langley 4), went in another village near Langley School, to eat a proper english dinner. Here is what he had... I wanted only some appetizers, and these were the things that appeared in front of my eyes. I don't do fried stuff at all, it's definitely unlike what I usually eat, but this time was an exception. And with all those fresh vegies and a glass full of orange juice, it was a really nice meal. Of course I had dessert also...sorry, no picture for that... :)

...and these are the dips the appetizers came with...pretty nice!

...and no burgers for me...I started disliking them from the US, that was the first time I've tasted a THE american burger and I said NO in that moment. :) Plus...I don't do bread, so, just one more reason to say pass. :)

...well, is just me...or this hot desserts list looks a bit kinky...?? :D :D

It's amazing how time flies...the first Langley summer camp (Langley 3) it's over...

This is the most difficult part of the whole camp expeience...when you (I) have to say bye-bye. I hate to say good bye...that's one thing I'll have to work on as long as I live.

But, things come and go it is said...and it's time for the second camp to start. Can't wait to see some friends from last year!!
