I was thinking of changing my phone.

Went online to browse the specs of Samsung Galaxy Note...

...and found out the BRAND NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY S3!!!

Man...it was just launched last week. Expected to be on sale in Malaysia by the end of this month.The price? Possibly RM2199.

So now I'm plotting the expenses needed to get this.

InsyaALLAH, I'm thinking of getting it this September.

Enough time to kumpul duit and sell my existing phone ;p

Can't sleep. Been thinking this over.

Just received the most shocking news today. A good friend of mine is/may getting divorce. I was shocked. Usually I take these kind of news in stride. But this time, I can't take it out of my mind.

I'm not married. I shouldn't offer advices. But from others experiences and my reads, may I share my thoughts on marriage :

1. Find someone that's going to match your personality and temper. Someone that 'gets' you. Someone that can handle you. Especially for women, someone that guide you in this life towards the hereafter. I think that's why sometimes best friends makes gr8 partner cos they understand you.

2. Following that, accept your partner as they are. Nobody is perfect. Each one of us is never the same. We're all shape by our upbringing, education, emotions, life experiences. No matter how close you are to someone, you never really know them cos you can't read whats on their mind and heart. Only Allah S.W.T truly knows. So accept people as they are. But understand, bad habits and principle personality are two different things. Bad habit can be treated. That wet towel not going to pick itself up, won't it?

3. People said this over and over. And it's true. Marriage is not between just 2 persons. It's between 2 families. You've got to find compatibility between families too. If your family doesn't approve, then what do you do? As in marriage bureau for rich people said: as a husband you have to be fair. Not favoring your wife or your family too much. Help you family accept your wife, make sure your wife know that they're not lonely.

4. In marriage, don't take your partner for granted. Appreciate them. Do small thoughtful favors for them, it doesn't have to be grand. Your partner will want to be appreciated. Women will always love chocolate and flowers(so simple). Remember special dates.

5. Talk. Talk to each other. It lessens the burden that you're holding on when you just share it with someone.

6. And lastly, eventho you've tried your best and it still didn't work, then perhaps separation is the best way. Perhaps our fate as it have been written, our jodoh (what's that in english?) is with someone else.

Reading this, you may assume I'm being presumptious or too negative? But I do believe in the family foundation. I've seen some good examples. Everyone wants stability in their life thru marriage, and you can have that when you have a happy marriage. As my friend's father said: unhappy marriage is a waste of your money, time and your youth.

And happy doesn't just means suka2, gembira2. It means 'bahagia'.

And Josh, he's all grown up playing Peeta Mellark in the Hunger Games movie.

Love him as Peeta! this franchise is going to be huge. I'm saving up to buy all three books at the same time ;p

major major breakthru year for both of them.

they're already well known but these projects may be the game changer for them.

I can't imagine how,
If one day I have a kid,
And I have to leave them with other people while I work,
Could I trust other people to nurture my kid?,
How do I make sure that I get to teach them everything that I wanted to,
Do I have the time to read them all the books that I love,
When all I'll have with them is just a meagre 4-5hrs together during a work day,
Some more, I am not a believer in leaving your kids with a maid at home,
If my parents can do it by themselves then why can't I?,
But baby how?

A lot of negative message yeah, but I'm on a roll here. Let me be.

I don't mind that the major car service is so expensive that I have to save and scrape, till collected enough money for it.

I don't mind that during the service they told me that I have to do another expensive major service when they found some faults with my car.

I'm holding it in when the worker there gets a little too "friendly" that I wanna shove them.

But I AM pissed off when my car smelt of cigarette smoke after the service.

My "unspoilt by any car-fragrances for 3 years" car.

Wah, that one I cannot tolerate. What make you think you have the right to smoke in that little area of mine? Did I gave you permission?

The truth is, I don't have any problem with smokers. What you wanna do with your body is your own business. So if I've scolded you and nothing improve, then I can't push anymore. But I can't tolerate people smoking in non-smoking area, and especially people smoking with children and women around. It's as if you have no respect for them. Drown as much in smoke as you want, but don't drag others to drown with you too.

just FYI, the number of smokers in both side of my immediate family (including pakcik/makcik/sepupu families) can be counted on one hand.

Korang selalu buat spaghetti tak?

Ak ni kalo kat umah mesti ada at least satu botol sos pasta dan satu beg spaghetti simpan dlm esbox. In case takda menda lain nak makan. heh...

Selalu kalau nak buat spaghetti, ramai orang cari jenama Prego. Tapi Prego tu halal ke tak sebenarnya? So, last week sambil grocery shopping, aku telah menjalankan penyiasatan "Halalke Prego?" di Giant Sg.Chua.

So, di sini ada 2 jenis sos pasta dalam botol kaca. Dua-dua jenama Prego.

Tapi, kalau korang perati betul2:

a) Prego Pasta Sauce Fresh Mushroom (botol merah)

- tiada tanda Halal

- Product of USA

b) Prego Pasta Sauce Carbonara Mushroom (botol putih)

- ada tanda Halal JAKIM

- Product of Malaysia

- dikilang oleh Campbell Cheong Chan (M) Sdn.Bhd

So, nak percaya ke idak yang botol merah? ish..kalau musykil tak payahle.

Maka yg gile spaghetti tu, mmg takda masalah untuk cari sos dah siap yg halal. Kalau nak pergi ala naturale, bolehla beli tomato paste aje dan tambah rempah-ratus spt black pepper, oregano dan thyme utk jadikan sos pasta sendiri.

kalau korang nak nak try sos pasta jenama lain, bolehla try Kimball punya. Aku mmg selalu beli yg ni. peminat Kimball no.1! faveret bah... murah pulak tu. I like ;p
