Citroën mechanic Dave Burnham, of Dave Burnham Citroën in Dalanson, NY just sent in an update on his mechanic, Rob Harlan.Rob was severely injured in a hit-and-run accident several weeks ago. He was driving his Citroën 2CV when a gal in a Jeep ran a stop sign and he T-boned her. She fled the scene, but police found the abandoned Jeep a few hours later and she has been cited for felony hit-and-run.

Surgery Update on CCNA Member Brad Nauss

Got a quick call from Anna May this morning and she explained to me that Brad's operation yesterday went well. There was a bit more bone fragmentation then they had originally thought, but everything was able to be taken care of during the procedure.

John & Vera Beltrante’s Citroën / French Car Picnic

When Robert Monteleone and I showed up at Washington Crossing Park for John and Vera Beltrante's semi-annual end-of-the-car-driving-season picnic, it was cold and threatening to rain. Vera and John greeted us with warm hugs, big smiles and bowls of hot chilli served in the picnic pavilion which was decorated with a yellow and black bumble bee theme in honor of John Fabrizio. John and Vera, as hosts, had so much to bring to the picnic that they showed up in 2 cars, their Toyota Prius (named Wednesday) and their beautiful DS.
