Toyota Yaris

The Yaris is made in Japan but it was designed in Europe, which is why, from some angles, it has some Peugeot flair to its flanks. Inside, it looks like a spaceship. There is a digital instrument cluster in the middle of the dash, which displays the speed in exact figures (rather than gauging a needle on a dial). Some drivers don't like this, but for what's it's worth, we're fans. In this era of fixed speed cameras, low tolerances and strict enforcement with harsh penalties, there is no ambiguity in a digitised number.

Suzuki Swift GT

The Swift still looks fresh, even though it is the oldest car in this group. It was introduced in 2005 and an updated model arrived about a year ago. The changes were subtle: new tail-lights, front bumper and wheel covers were about it.

The Swift has the least amount of cabin storage (the door pockets are too thin) and the rear three-quarter view when parking is restricted a little by the small side windows.

But it gets a nice leather steering wheel with audio controls, large sun visors and a regular fuel gauge (the Mazda and Toyota have digital fuel gauges). Quality is good.

It is produced in both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, although in many markets such as the United Kingdom and Australia, only all-wheel drive is offered.
Introduced in Japan in 1996, the CR-V was Honda's first in-house designed SUV and was originally intended to be a niche vehicle only. Honda was hesitant to market the vehicle, since many felt the car did not have potential to sell alongside the Honda Passport and to take over the role of Honda's entry-level SUV.
In the United States, the Honda CR-V became the number-one selling SUV in the US for 2007, a title previously held for fifteen years (1991–2006) by the Ford Explorer. To meet the high demand, Honda shifted some Civic production from East Liberty, Ohio to Alliston Plant #2, Ontario (where some Pilot, Ridgeline, and Odyssey production was located until production was consolidated at Honda's Lincoln, Alabama facility) to free up space for additional CR-V production. The Z06 is a superb track car, and the ZR1 is really pushing the Corvette envelope hard to the limit. But unlike the Z06, which is all about track performance, the ZR1 retains more civility thanks to Magnetic Ride control that gives varying degrees of damping—allowing the car to switch from comfort to sport with the push of a button.

To keep all that power in check for easy drive and handling, are some massive brake rotors sourced from Brembo. In fact, they are nearly the same rotors used on a Bugatti Veyron and barely fit inside the 19-in. front wheels. The rear brake rotors fit comfortably in the 20-in. wheels and are the same as those used on the front of a Ferrari Enzo.

The ZR1 is a 600 plus horsepower super Corvette, with production is limited to just 2000 units a year. A limited edition for the collector! It will likely cost in the neighborhood of price $100,000. The car’s platform is the already stellar Z06 Corvette that features an aluminum chassis and 505 horsepower from a 7.0-liter small-block V-8. The ZR1 takes the next step and uses forced induction by means of a new Eaton 4-lobe supercharger mounted on a revised 6.2-liter V-8. Horsepower isn’t known yet, but claimed to be well above 600.

How to paint your motorcycle

There are some things you need to think about before painting your motorcycle. First , paint fumes is toxic, and flammable. So, ensure the place where you are painting should not be attached to your house. In order to paint your own motorcycle you will need to have at least two paint guns.
You will also need an air compressor, air hose and a regulator with a water trap. The first paint gun is for the primer and the second is for the base coat and clear coats. Check up the motorcycle's fuel and oil tanks before you begin painting. Make sure they are pressure tested and free of leaks. Start by sandblasting the metal parts on your motorcycle to remove the old paint. If you don't have sandblaster, use sandpaper to sand them.
Wipe down the parts with a non oil-based degreaser before begin painting. Apply filler to the low spots. Mix it in small batches. It hardens quickly. Make sure to apply it as smoothly as possible. Sand it with 80 grit sandpaper after dries, then check for any nicks or low spots. Fill and repeat the sanding process.
Apply two coats of epoxy primer. After it dries, use a spray bomb of black paint and spray it over the surface very lightly. This will make any defects in your fill work show. Use a light finishing putty to repair these trouble spots. Apply it in even coats, then use a foam sanding block wrapped in 80 grit sandpaper to smooth it, followed by 120 grit then 400 grit.
Now apply the last coat of primer. Once it is dry, use 400 grit sandpaper to roughen to surface a little so that the base coat will stick better. Apply a coat of epoxy sealer before applying the base coat. This will provide a better surface and help prevent bubbles. Make sure to read all of the instructions for the paint and allow the correct about of time between coats.
