Rollins College has once again been named one of Playboy’s Top Ten Party Schools, #7 to be exact. Fairly absurd for a school with less then 2,000 students to be included on such a list but who am I to judge? This is apparently what Playboy has to say about the home of the Tars:

It’s not the size of a school, it’s the commotion its students cause when they collectively rage. Rollins, in Winter Park, Florida, is the hardest-partying small school (1,785 undergrads) in the country. Yes, it feels like a high school but one that convenes in the clubs every weekend.

I’m sure all fellow alumni and current students are quite proud. Oddly I see no mention of this achievement on the Rollins website.

Its just science. David Catanese at POLITICO (naturally) gives us the facts:

A comprehensive review of House reelection websites by the University of Minnesota’s Smart Politics blog found that GOP incumbents are 36 percent more likely to incorporate Old Glory into the banner of their page, with nearly half of all House Republicans positioning the Stars and Stripes as the main image on their website. Just a third of their Democratic counterparts prominently place the flag as a backdrop, according to a survey of 368 campaign websites.

I love the usage of “comprehensive” in that first sentence, thank goodness it was comprehensive, otherwise this would have been totally stupid. Good job Minnesota, you make the Big Ten proud.

    I sometimes play this game with friends: Think about the single most insane reality TV show premise you can imagine (where nobody dies in the end). OK. You have it in your mind? The weirdest reality TV show you can think of?

    Now tell me: Is your show significantly dumber than a show about Bret Michaels, lead singer of Poison, inviting 20 women to his mansion to “compete for his heart.” Is your show significantly more insulting than “The Littlest Groom,” a show about a 4-foot-5 man searching for love and finding (much to his surprise!) that some of the women are tall. Is your show weirder than than sending five Amish people to live in the city. These are actual shows. Our most curious and freaky thoughts are real.

    I would bet that, in the probably not distant future, you could come up with a premise that does involve someone dying and it will be a reality show.
