Is It Possible For Islam To Take Over The World?

SOMETIMES I TELL people Islam is a political doctrine and its purpose is to make every country on earth, including this one, follow Shari'a law.

Of course, most people think, "Yeah right. Good luck with that one."

In other words: Okay, so they want to take over the world. So what? It ain't gonna happen, not now, not ever. Completely impossible.

But the truth is, it doesn't matter whether it's possible or not. What matters is that a growing number of already-numerous people hold that as their most important goal. They consider it their holy duty. They consider it their ticket into heaven and the only assurance they can get that they will not burn in the fires of hell for eternity. They are motivated.

So we have one group that says, "Yeah, right," and goes on about their business, watching their sitcoms and buying stuff on eBay. And we have another group that feels strongly that the Almighty has given them a clear mission to take over the world by every means available to them, including recruiting new soldiers, having lots of children, protesting against any criticism of Islam, working to change laws, giving money to organizations that sue people for criticizing Islam, putting political pressure on politicians to alter laws, immigrating to infidel countries to help build an Islamic political presence there, going on web sites and arguing with people who try to criticize Islam, complaining to YouTube (and getting all their Islamic friends to complain to YouTube) about any video that criticizes Islam until YouTube removes the offending video, going to schools in democracies and speaking to the infidel children about how loving and peaceful and wonderful Islam is, reading about nothing else and thinking about nothing else.

Now over a period of time, who will gain more ground: A totally committed group, or the ones watching sitcoms and buying stuff on eBay?

And the more ground they gain politically, the more ground they can gain because they are gaining more political clout. Already in Europe, the politicians are very careful about not offending their Muslim constituents because the Muslims are very organized and politically active, and most of the rest of the voters are lackadaisical and not really paying attention. The same has begun to happen elsewhere: Canada, the U.S., Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and of course India has been dealing with this issue for a very long time.

Remember this when you're talking to someone and you can see them thinking, "Impossible. There is no way the Muslims are going to take over the world."

It doesn't matter if it's impossible. With all that commitment they can make our times very troubled, they can make the fight more difficult, they can take away freedoms one by one, and in fact, they really can take over the world. It is not technically impossible. It doesn't seem likely, but only if you don't know much about what they're already doing, which most people don't (partly because of what they're already doing).

What this means is that if you'd like to do something about this, if you'd like to help preserve the freedoms we enjoy, then your most important task is to simply share this information with your fellow countrymen. Learn about jihad, and share what you're learning with others.

I WANT TO SHARE this op-ed. I think it's important.

C.A.I.R., the Council on American Islamic Relations, is one of the largest and most well-funded Muslim organizations in our country. But they're not the moderate Muslim group they say they are. They're actually a front for the terrorist group HAMAS.

C.A.I.R. attacks those that try to speak the truth about what they are up to, like how they're placing C.A.I.R. interns in our government offices. Few people have the courage to go up against any terrorist organization, but Representative Sue Myrick is speaking out. C.A.I.R., of course, is doing everything they can to stop her. But she's standing her ground.

I know you're busy. And I know this isn't a pleasant topic, but it's a real threat. The goal of C.A.I.R. is to destroy our democracy by infiltrating our government and eventually replacing our government with Shari'a law. Europe looked the other way for far too long and now they are having terrible problems. We can't afford to look the other way. We can't afford to believe what they say and ignore what they do.

I'll get off my soap box. Myrick says it much better than I do, and with a great deal more authority.

Here's what she said:

Last week, I held a press conference on Capitol Hill attended by three of my colleagues in the House of Representatives to call for a federal investigation (s) into a non-profit group called the Council on American Islamic Relations (C.A.I.R.)

Here are the facts:

1. CAIR has documented ties to the terrorist organization HAMAS. This is stated fact by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In an April 28, 2009 letter to US Senator Jon Kyl, the FBI wrote the following:

“As you know, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development in the United States v. Holy Land Foundation et al. (Cr. No. 3:04-240-P (N.D.TX.). During that trial, evidence was introduced that demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders (including its current President Emeritus and its Executive Director) and the Palestinian Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestinian Committee and HAMAS, which was designated a terrorist organization in 1995. In light of that evidence, the FBI suspended all formal contacts between CAIR and the FBI.”

In case you are not familiar with the Holy Land trial referenced above, it was a Dallas, Texas trial that ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts of funneling money ($12 million) to HAMAS.

2. The purpose of our press conference was to make public an internal CAIR memo that documented CAIR's stated goal of placing CAIR interns in the offices of members of Congress, especially the members who serve on the Homeland Security, Judiciary and Intelligence Committees. Let me be clear here, CAIR, a group whom the FBI says is affiliated with the terrorist group HAMAS, is trying to place their interns in the offices of those members who serve on the three committees that handle national security related issues. National Security is the first responsibility of the federal government.

3. Following our press conference, CAIR, immediately labeled we four members as bigots and started their public relations campaign to discredit us by claiming that we were against Muslims working on Capitol Hill. We never said that. At no time during our press conference did we even insinuate that we were investigating Muslims being interns on Capitol Hill. Our focus was and is on CAIR and CAIR alone, not Muslims.

Likewise CAIR tried to make this a Republican vs. Democrat thing, because the four members at the press conference happened to be Republican.

How then does CAIR explain Democrat Senator Charles Schumer’s call earlier this year for a government-wide ban on CAIR in the federal government due to their ties to HAMAS? Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer has likewise made public her opinions of CAIR and any Google search will find her remarks.

4. CAIR is spending time, money and energy to position themselves as the spokespeople for the moderate Muslim community. Problem is CAIR is not a moderate Muslim organization. It is a radical front group for HAMAS. So who is CAIR competing with for this designation? The real moderate Muslim groups/individuals in America. Groups and individuals like the following who are committed to countering Islamist extremism:

Dr. Hedieh Mirahmadi – President World Organization for Resource Development and Education (WORDE)

Zeyno Baran – Director for the Center for Eurasian Policy at the Hudson Institute

Farid Ghadry – President of the Reform Party of Syria

Manda Zand Ervin – Founder and director of the Alliance of Iranian Women

Omran Salman – Arab Reformists Project, 'Aafaq (Arabic for “horizons”).

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser – American Islamic Forum for Democracy

Karim Bromund – Director of Inter-Religious Affairs for the Islamic Supreme Council of America

I SUPPORT the Muslim individuals and groups mentioned above. These groups renounce terrorists and their radical ideology. They are trying their hardest to be heard and recognized in America, but are being overshadowed and out-funded by CAIR. Today, when something happens that impacts the Muslim community, the media calls CAIR (an unindicted co-conspirator to terrorism and a HAMAS front group) for comment on behalf of American Muslims. What an insult the media is performing on the Muslim community. Instead they should be calling Muslim groups/individuals like those named above. This is part of the reason we are focusing our attention on CAIR and exposing them for who they are. For one they pose a threat to our national security, and two, they deny the ability of legitimate Muslim groups to gain credibility.

5. In July of this year I held a summit on Capitol Hill where I introduced the leaders of eight moderate Muslim organizations to the heads of several US Agencies, Members of Congress and congressional staff. For example, they met with representatives from the State Department, USAID, Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense. See through the lies and realize what is really going on here.

We are trying to expose a HAMAS Front Group (CAIR) for who they are, and they are crying we are anti-Muslim hoping that media outlets will ignore the terrorist claim and instead pick it up as a race/religion story. When those claims don’t work, they claim it’s a Republican political thing.

Americans, on this subject we need to stop the Republican vs. Democrat, Conservative vs. Liberal, Christian vs. Muslim division and unite on one simple point…. CAIR is a front group for HAMAS. It was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in a terrorism case that lead to 108 convictions of funneling $12 million to HAMAS. Because of the evidence produced in that case, the FBI severed all ties with them. This same CAIR, by their own admission, is trying to place people inside the offices of members of Congress who deal with national security issues (judiciary, homeland security and intelligence committees). I serve on one of those committees, Intelligence, am the co-chairwoman of the House Anti-Terrorism Caucus, and have spent the better part of the last four years working every day on terrorism related issues.

If we Americans fail to set aside our political, religious and ideological differences and unite when we encounter the enemy in such stark and plain terms, then God help us.

On This Day In 732, Charles the Hammer Stopped Islam's Advance on the West

ISLAM CONQUERED most of the Middle East and North Africa and then came across the Straights of Gibraltar and conquered Spain, subjugating the people under Islamic rule, giving the European (mostly Christian and Jewish) people the choice of conversion to Islam or perpetual underling status burdened with a tax on non-Muslims (vital funds Muslims used to fund further conquests).

Islamic armies moved north into what is now France (known as Gaul at the time). That was the high-water mark of Islam's first major invasion of Europe, because it was there they were stopped.

After several large battles, the Islamic hordes were defeated by an army led by Charles Martel, who came to be known as Charles The Hammer. The final and decisive battle occurred on October 11th, 732, one hundred years after the death of Mohammad.

Europe is being invaded again by Islamic hordes. This time they are being welcomed in by people ignorant of history and ignorant of Islamic doctrine.

People who are committed to Islam's political goal of world domination have been swarming into Europe by the millions, gaining more and more political clout and winning more and more battles as Europeans concede their freedoms, their land, and their money to this aggressive and relentless ideology.

But they will be stopped. Not everyone in Europe is spineless. Islam was stopped before — despite the fact that many European kings had made deals and allied themselves with the Muslims to gain a temporary political advantage. It was happening then. It is happening now.

But Europe is waking up and so is America. The more people know about basic Islamic doctrine, the more immune they become to the political manipulations of Islamic supremacists. Concessions made will be revoked. The West will rise again and stop Islam for the third time. To fortify our commitment to that future time of victory, we honor today the spirit of Charles The Hammer.

The Humor of Islam...You'll Die Laughing

AZ ZAQQUM wrote a book called The Humor of Islam...You'll Die Laughing. We liked her approach so much we asked her to write an article for us about it so we could post it. MY NAME is Ms. Az Zaqqum (not really) and I wanted to make a difference in my own way. No, it probably wasn’t the most politically correct way, but it was time that someone did it, so…

I decided to write the first book (in over 1400 years of Islamic history) on the humor of Islam.

"The Humor of Islam...You'll Die Laughing". The title is a sarcastic twist on an Islamic Sharia law that forbids laughing too much. Which made me laugh too much.

Daniel Pipes said it was "Daring, fun and funny." Others worried they might catch Fatwa-itis...(be on someone’s Fatwa list).

George Carlin said there were 7 words that can’t be used on TV. Have the 8th and 9th words become Islamic and humor?

I used actual ancient Islamic texts. I didn’t make them funny, they’ve always been funny. And they still make news.

The French want to ban the burka, many Muslims say the burka is Islamic. The ancient texts say the burka was invented because Muhammad’s companions were watching his wives pee. You can see how that Hadith worked out. Someone should tell them that the companions are dead and we now have indoor toilets.

There’s a Hadith that describes how Muhammad died. An angry Jewish woman served him a poisoned, talking lamb chop. The moral of that Hadith? Don’t piss off a Jewish women! And yes, the lamb chop did warn him.

The 5 prayers? That’s not from the Quran, it’s Hadith. A man told the prophet; I kissed a girl and I liked it. He was told to pray 5 times.

Islam means Submission to Allah, not Muhammad. There are literally millions of Hadith. Islamists say we don’t understand. I say we are being abused…by bad Hadith. Maybe their mantra should be changed to: Muhammad is the prophet — and Allah is his homie.

We should know the difference between the Quran and Hadith. If it’s not in the Quran, it's not from Allah. One should not listen to men in dresses unless they wear cute shoes and pretty lipstick. And...

If Muslims don’t like living with Kafurs because we oppress them, they must go live in an Islamic country, or go to hell (4:97). That is in the Quran!

My goal is to inform and entertain the Western World with the humor of Islam and make interviews with the ACLU and Islamists much more entertaining.

You can find a humor book on every religion, except Islam. I challenge anyone to read this book and not find the humor of Islam, and it all starts with a Hadith. I end the book with current news stories. It ends where it all began, with a Hadith.

As for some of the pictures, my mother was the photographer, our two dogs and I were the models. I hope you enjoy it. I had to self publish (censorship and Fatwa-itis suck). Yes, I did make up the word; FATWA-ITIS...fear of fatwas.

YESTERDAY I received the following email:

I want to thank you for encouraging me to start an ACT for America group out here in the San Fernando Valley. I have been very passionate about the issue of radical Islam and the Islamization of America for a very long time. Now that I am leading a chapter, I have more of a cohesive purpose to vent out my desire not to be one of those 'good people who do nothing.'

We just had our sixth meeting and I am excited about the ACTIONS we take at each meeting. The group members seem to like them also as when I report on our successes at the next month's meetings, they applaud... ;-)

At any rate, I wanted to tell you that I'm very excited about our upcoming meeting on October 12th out here in Sherman Oaks, CA. Through the very generous auspices of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, we are having the incomparable, Robert Spencer for a talk and a book signing! I am floating on air at the good fortune of being able to have such an esteemed expert at our group.

We are doing everything we can to spread the word and take actions to help stem the tide of a takeover of our country from within.

Bruce Springsteen took on the topic practically as if it were commissioned for his 2002 album "The Rising," but it took pop's most authentic poet to stare the subject of Sept. 11 straight in the face.

"Some people say it's what we deserve," Leonard Cohen sings on "On That Day," a little noticed track that appears on his overlooked 2004 album "Dear Heather." Cohen eschews metaphor but maintains a moral distance. "I wouldn't know," he sings, "I'm just holding the fort — since that day they wounded New York."

An unlikely Jew's harp twangs against the song, which could be Cohen's idea of ironic counterpoint. The slight song — it barely breaks the two-minute mark — sounds all the more mournful in his inevitable foggy baritone.

Like all the great poets, Cohen covers immense ground with a few well-chosen words and a couple of half-finished thoughts. "Did you go crazy or did you report," he asks, "on that day they wounded New York?" On the album's liner notes, he makes sure to include a dictionary definition of report: "To present oneself: report for duty."

Death and destruction in the twin towers was such a blinding catastrophe — like the sun exploding — that artists couldn't look at it long. Cohen, in his song, without dwelling on anything, in fact, cuts it short, suggesting we look to ourselves.

They just asked me to get the message out that with 30 UK people, they could "kill online extremism in the UK stone dead." Because of their track record, I believe they could.

The Terrifying Brilliance of Islam

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED why millions of Muslim men are dedicated to killing Americans? Or why so many are willing to blow themselves up to kill Israelis? Or why they are so committed to blowing up random people in Bali, London, Madrid, etc.?

Islamic supremacists are doing this all over the world, attacking Westerners and their own fellow Muslims alike. Why?

Because of a doctrine. A doctrine is a collection of ideas. These could be customs, words, beliefs, etc. A religion is not a single idea; it is a collection of ideas. The collection of ideas that make up the religion of Islam makes Muslims behave and feel as they do.

Collections of ideas compete with each other in the same way that collections of cells (organisms) compete with each other. And because idea-collections compete, and because new ideas can often be added or subtracted from the collection, and because some collections gain more believers than others, collections of ideas can actually evolve.

Let's look at how religious idea-collections evolve and compete. To begin with, let's assume we already have a religion established. It already has a holy book and millions of people are already believers.

And then there is a slight variation.

The original version had a "live and let live" attitude, and never tried to encourage its followers to get converts. But then someone comes up with the idea that if you can persuade a non-believer to become a believer, you earn some sort of spiritual merit. You are saving souls, and your chances of getting into heaven are better.

Okay, now you have two variations on the same religion: One contains the idea that it doesn't really matter if you get anyone else to join the religion. The other motivates its believers to persuade others to join.

After a thousand years, which of the two variations will have more believers? I'm betting on the motivated-to-spread-it version.

Let's assume, for the moment, that the motivated version gets far more followers. Does that mean it makes people happier? Or more successful in life? Or have healthier children? No. Just because a collection of ideas successfully gains followers does not mean it benefits any of the people believing those ideas.

The same is true in genetics. Contrary to common sense, a successful gene doesn't necessarily benefit the organism. It is "successful" in the sense that it has made lots of copies of itself and is found in many organisms. But it may actually be harmful for the organism.

For example, if there is a gene for alcoholism, and if drinking causes someone to start having children younger than someone who doesn't drink, over thousands of years, the alcoholism gene might be more successful (the gene makes its way into more offspring) than the non-alcoholism gene, even though it is bad for each individual person carrying the gene.

In the same way, the success of an idea-collection doesn't necessarily mean it's good for the people who believe it or follow it.

If an idea-collection says it is wrong to use contraception and wrong to masturbate, over time, that idea-collection would probably be followed by more people than the version that says these things are just fine (assuming people normally teach their children to believe as they do).

So the hapless believer of a particular idea-collection will try to follow the rules and be a good person by avoiding the evils of contraception and masturbation, and what will be the result for him personally? He may have more children than he might want or could afford, causing him to work overtime to support them — working two jobs if he must. This may send him to an early grave, but his effort creates more believers of that particular collection of ideas than someone who doesn't hold those ideas.

So in a sense, the idea-collection has used the man for its own purposes, or at least that's one legitimate way to look at it. And it's a way that sheds new light on Islamic supremacism, which is why I've spent so much time explaining it.

If you were going to deliberately design a collection of ideas with the purpose of making one that might eventually dominate the world — one that would eventually out-compete every other religion or political system — you would be hard-pressed to do better than Islam.

Let's look at some of the individual ideas within the collection. Many of the ideas enhance each other. In other words, adding one idea to the others can make the whole collection much more effective because some ideas work synergistically.

Here are some of the key components of the idea-collection known as Islam:

1. A standardized version of the idea-collection is written down. This is something basic to several religions and isn't an Islamic invention, but it is an important factor in the success of Islam.

Something only transmitted orally can change over time, but something written will be identical a thousand years from now, and with modern printing presses, can be reproduced in the millions, giving it an enormous advantage in spreading identical copies of the idea-collection.

2. The Qur'an includes instructions for its own spread. It tells believers they must spread Islam. It is their holy duty to bring Mohammad's warnings and Islamic law to every corner of the world.

3. The idea-collection includes instructions for its own preservation, protection, and replication fidelity. The Qur'an, the most important of the Islamic holy books, directly tells its followers that they can never change or modify or "modernize" any of the teachings within the idea-collection. It is perfect as it is. It is a capital sin to try to do so. This idea ensures the preservation of the whole collection.

These first three ideas are pretty standard for several successful religions. But now it gets interesting...

4. Islam commands its followers to create a government that supports it. This may be one of the most ingenious ideas in the whole collection. Islam is the only religion that uses it. Other groups of religious people have had political aspirations, but no other major religious group orders its followers — as a religious duty — to create a government that follows its own system of law.

Islam has a system of law, called Shari'a, and all Muslims are obligated to continually strive to make their government — wherever they are — follow it. Because of some of the other ideas added to Islam, you will see that this political addition to the idea-collection has significant consequences. Not only is this perhaps Islam's most brilliant innovation, it is also the most terrifying to non-Muslims.

5. Permission to spread the religion by war. This is another brilliant innovation. Although some other religions have spread themselves using force, they had very little justification from their own religious doctrines to do so.

Not so with Islam. Expanding by conquest is very much accepted and encouraged by the idea-collection. Islamic teachings present it this way: The poor non-Muslims not living in an Islamic state need to be saved from the sin of following laws other than Allah's. If they won't voluntarily change their laws to Shari'a, then it is the duty of Muslim warriors to insist. The world cannot be at peace until every government on earth follows the laws of Allah.

Mohammad's own experience showed the example — an example, says the Qur'an, that every Muslim should follow. At first, Mohammad tried to spread Islam by peaceful means. After thirteen years he had a paltry 150 converts.

But then he changed tactics and started using warfare, slaughter, executions, and assassination, and within ten years he converted tens of thousands, and after he died, they used the same tactics and converted millions. And by simple population increase, it is now over a billion.

The use of warfare combines synergistically and powerfully with the instruction to create an Islamic state. So Islam spread quickly as their armies got bigger. They conquered and set up Islamic states, most of which have lasted to this day, and the laws within an Islamic state make Islam very difficult to dislodge. The laws also make it very advantageous to convert to Islam.

This is one of the most effective methods ever invented for getting an idea-collection into huge numbers of minds. It's a method of control and indoctrination similar to those used successfully in communist and totalitarian states. But as you'll discover below, Islam makes unique use of the power of the law to enforce complete conversion to the religion.

6. Lands must be conquered. Lands that Islam has lost must be reconquered, like Spain and Israel, for example. The Islamic empire must continually expand. Contraction is bad, expansion is good. So if a land was once Islamic and now it is not, that's contraction, and must be remedied.

According to Islamic teachings, the earth is Allah's. If there are parts of the earth not following Islamic law, it is the duty of the faithful to gain control of that land and establish Shari'a. It is a sin to let it be.

7. The idea-collection provides for new soldiers by allowing polygamy. A Muslim man can marry up to four wives, and he can have sex with as many slave girls as he wishes.

The Qur'an especially encourages men to marry widows. This is an important idea to add if you are going to be losing a lot of soldiers in war. You need some way of replenishing your army. Otherwise the idea-collection could die out from a lack of offspring.

8. It is a punishable offense to criticize Islam. You can see why this one is a good supporting idea for the collection. It helps suppress any ideas that would reduce the authority of Islamic ideas. This one, like many of the others, is good for the idea-collection, but bad for people. This one limits freedom of speech.

9. You can't leave Islam once you're in. This is an interesting one. It is actually illegal in Islamic states to convert out of Islam. This is a critical part of Shari'a law. Someone who has rejected Islam who was once a Muslim is an "apostate." This is a crime and a sin, and the punishment for it is death (and eternal damnation in hell thereafter).

Obviously, you can see why this idea has been included in the collection, but this one has actually caused Islam a problem because those who are following Islam to the letter consider more "moderate" Muslims (those who want to ignore or alter the more violent passages of the Qur'an) to be apostates. Since the punishment for apostates is death, fundamentalist Muslims are fighting modernizing Muslims all over the world, and keeping many rebellious, modernizing Muslims (or MINOs) from speaking up for fear of death.

Every time a group of Muslims decides that maybe Islam should be updated for the 21st century and maybe women should have some rights or maybe the government should be more democratic, the devout Muslims call them apostates and try to kill them.

The idea-collection protects its own fidelity (the original idea-collection cannot be altered). This is not good for the organisms (the Muslim human beings), but it's great for the collection.

Another idea in Shari'a law says it's against the law for anyone to try to convert a Muslim to another religion.

10. Islam must be your first allegiance. This is a great idea to add to the collection if the goal is world domination. You are a Muslim first, before any allegiance you give to your family, your tribe, or your country.

This does two things: It causes a unity of people across borders which allows the group to grow bigger than any other entity. In other words, the "Nation of Islam" can grow bigger than any country, no matter how large (which gives the group a massive numerical advantage).

11. Dying while fighting for Islam is the ONLY way to guarantee a man's entrance into Paradise. This is a great idea for creating fearless, enthusiastic warriors, especially given the Qur'an's vivid descriptions of the sensuous delights of Paradise.

A Muslim man has a chance of getting to Paradise if he is a good Muslim, but it is not guaranteed. However, if he dies while fighting for Islam, he is guaranteed to get in, and that's the only thing he can do to guarantee it.

12. You must read the Qur'an in Arabic. This unites believers by language, and language is a very powerful unifying phenomenon. For added incentive to learn Arabic, another idea in the collection says you can't go to Paradise unless you pray in Arabic.

So all Muslims all over the world share a language. This makes it easier to coordinate far-reaching campaigns of protest, political pressure, and war. I doubt if Mohammad foresaw this possibility, but this idea is brilliant, even if it was an accident.

13. You must pray five times a day. This is one of the five "pillars" — that is, one of the five central practices — of Islam. Within an Islamic state, it is enforced by law. Every Muslim must pray five times a day. The practice helps the idea-collection dominate a Muslim's life, infusing his daily rhythm with Islam.

It would be impossible to forget anything you deliberately do so often. Five times a day, every day, a Muslim must bow down and pray to Allah.

Research has shown the more effort a person expends for a cause, the more he is likely to believe in it and value it. So this is a good way to eventually make believers out of people who became Muslims through coercion.

Islam completely takes over every aspect of Muslims' lives. Not only are they required to pray five times a day, they have to go through a washing ritual beforehand. Islam dictates the laws, and the laws cover many public and private behaviors. In an Islamic state, it is impossible to be a casual Muslim.

14. The prayers involve moving together in time. When Muslims pray, they all face the same direction, they bow down, get on their hands and knees, and put their face on the mat, all in unison, and then rise back up. Again and again.

When people move together in time, whether dancing or marching or praying, it creates a physical and emotional bond between them. That's why all military training involves close-order drill (marching in unison), even though it has been a long time since military groups have actually marched into combat. There is no longer a need for the skill, but military training retained the practice because it is so effective at creating a strong feeling of unity between soldiers.

The same is true of any physical movements people make in unison. So the method of prayer in Islam is a unifying idea added to the collection.

15. A woman is in a thoroughly subordinate position. This idea really helps support other ideas in the collection, like five and six. If women had too much influence, they'd try to curb the warring. Women in general don't like to send their husbands and sons off to war. But if women have no say, then the rest of the ideas can express themselves without interference. By subordinating women, the idea-collection prevents their effective vote against war, violence, and conquest.

The rules and laws within Islam that keep women subordinate are numerous. For example, she is not allowed to leave her house unless she is accompanied by a male relative. Under Islamic law, a woman is forbidden to be a head of state or a judge. She can only inherit half of what a man can inherit. In court, her testimony is only worth half of a man's. She is not allowed to choose where she will live or who she will marry. She is not allowed to marry a non-Muslim or divorce her husband. Her husband, however, can divorce her with a wave of his hand. And according to Shari'a, he can (and should) beat her if she disobeys him.

All of these ideas keep her subordinate, which helps keep the war machine going unimpeded by domestic rebellion.

16. The only way a woman can get into Paradise for sure is if her husband is happy with her when she dies. When I read about this one, I thought, "Mohammad, you are a crafty one."

This idea obviously helps with the subjugation of women. It motivates her to subjugate herself. It gives her a strong motivation to subordinate her wishes to her husband's, because while she might have a chance to get into Paradise if she's a good Muslim, the only way she can guarantee she will go to Paradise (and avoid eternal suffering in hell) is to make sure her husband is happy with her when she dies.

17. Allah gives Himself permission to edit his own work. This is an interesting one. It says in the Qur'an that if a passage written later contradicts an earlier passage, then the later one is the better one. The Qur'an was written in sections (Mohammad's revelations, each written as a sura or chapter) over a period of 23 years. The circumstances of Mohammad's life and his religion changed quite a bit over those 23 years.

One of the ideas in the Qur'an is "this is the word of Allah." People had already memorized his earlier revelations, so Mohammad couldn't just change his revelations. It would look a little strange to for the all-knowing, infinitely wise Allah to change something He had already said.

But with this new idea — that later revelations abrogated or overwrote any earlier revelations they contradicted — Allah's methods could change as Mohammad found more effective ideas.

As I pointed out earlier, in his first 13 years of peacefully preaching, Mohammad only managed to win 150 followers. But as a military leader and violent conqueror, he was able to subjugate all of Arabia to Islamic law in less than 10 years. The peaceful ways were too slow. Conversion by conquering and establishing Shari'a was much faster and more efficient. So later, violent, intolerant verses abrogate the earlier peaceful, tolerant passages.

18. The Qur'an uses the carrot and stick to reinforce behavior. Throughout the book are vivid descriptions of hell, where sinners and non-Muslims will have to drink boiling, stinking water, will be thrown face down into a raging fire, and will be there for eternity, suffering endless torments in agony.

There are also vivid descriptions of Paradise. In Paradise, it says, believers will wear green silk robes and recline on plush couches. Trees will shade them, fruit will dangle nearby. They'll have tasty food and refreshing drinks served in silver goblets. To have a chance of achieving this, they must be devout Muslims. To guarantee it, they must die in jihad (for men) or make sure their husbands are always happy with them (for women).

19. It provides a huge and inspiring goal. Leaders of countries or companies or religions have all discovered that you can get the most motivation and enthusiasm from your followers if you provide them with an expansive vision — an enormous goal. In the Islamic idea-collection, the goal calls for a continuous effort to expand the domain of Islamic law until all the world is subjugated to it.

Many religions have the goal of converting everyone, but Islam has a method available nobody else has: To expand by seizing and converting governments to Shari'a.

Once the whole world is Islamic, peace will reign. That's why even terrorists can say with complete sincerity, "Islam is a religion of peace."

The Qur'an says it is best if non-believers accept Islam and become Muslims without force. But if they refuse, then you must fight them and conquer them and save their poor souls by insisting they live by the laws of Allah.

Once all countries are conquered, the world will be at peace. Therefore, Islam is a religion of peace.

It is an enormous and inspiring goal, and a strongly unifying purpose. It creates motivated, enthusiastic followers.

20. Non-Muslims must pay a large tax. Once Muslims conquer a country and convert the government to Islamic law, any non-Muslims have the choice between becoming Muslim or becoming a dhimmi. Dhimmis are allowed to practice their non-Muslim religion if they pay the jizya (a tax). If they convert to Islam, they no longer have to pay a tax, so there is a practical incentive to convert.

But another aspect of this makes it a brilliant idea to add to the collection. The tax takes money away from the non-Muslims and their competing idea-collections and gives that money to support Islam. This is pure genius!

The income from these taxes (usually a 25% income tax) helped fund the Islamic conquests during the first two major jihads. They conquered vast lands, most of them already filled with Christians and Jews, many of whom did not convert at first, and their jizya poured huge sums of money into the Islamic war machine.

Eventually, the numbers of Christians and Jews dwindled down as they converted or escaped, until now, in most Islamic countries, Jews and Christians are very small minorities.

The tax-the-non-Muslims idea helps the Islamic idea-collection make more copies of itself by suppressing competing religious idea-collections and financially supporting the Islam.

Several ideas within Shari'a law extend this effect. For example, non-Muslims are not allowed to build any new houses of worship. They're not even allowed to repair already-existing churches or synagogues. This puts the houses of worship of any competing idea-collection in a state of permanent decline. Brilliant.

Also, non-Islamic prayers cannot be spoken within earshot of a Muslim — again, preventing Muslims from being infected by a competing religion. No public displays of any symbols of another faith may be shown either.

All of this prevents the spread of any competing religion, and makes competing idea-collections die out over time. That's why today there are so many "Muslim countries." Almost every other country in the world is made up of many different religions.

One added idea makes it that much easier for Muslims to dominate non-Muslims within an Islamic state: Non-Muslims are not allowed to own weapons of any kind. To subjugate a people, all dictatorial rulers in the history of the world have done the same thing: Disarm the subjugated people. They are much easier to manage, less dangerous, and less capable of upending the status quo.

21. A Muslim is forbidden to make friends with an infidel. A Muslim is allowed to pretend to be a friend, but in his heart he must never actually be a friend to a non-Muslim. This is one of the best protections Islam has against Muslims leaving the faith because in every other religion conversions to the religion are usually made because a friend introduced it. Being forbidden to make friends with infidels effectively prevents that from happening.

22. The Qur'an counsels the use of deceit when dealing with infidels. Mohammad instructed one of his followers to lie if he had to (in order to assassinate one of Mohammad's enemies). The principle was clear: If it helps Islam, it's okay to deceive non-Muslims.

This principle has served Islamic goals very well through history. And it serves those goals today. On the DVD, Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West, you can watch real-life examples of Islamic leaders saying one thing in English for the Western press, and saying something entirely different to their own followers in Arabic a few days later.

Deceiving the enemy is always useful in war, and Islam is at war with the non-Islamic world until the whole world follows Shari'a law. All non-Muslims living in non-Islamic states are enemies. So deceiving Westerners is totally acceptable. It is encouraged if it can forward the goals of the spread of Islam.

And so we have the strange phenomenon covered by Steven Emerson in Terrorists Among Us, where organizations in America were ostensibly raising money for orphans, but really giving the money to terrorists. They deceived good-hearted Western infidels into giving money to organizations that were actively killing Western infidels. As it says in the Qur'an, "War is deceit." This idea gives Islam a tremendous advantage over idea-collections that encourage indiscriminate truthfulness.

23. Islam must always be defended. This idea is a primary linchpin that gives justification for war with almost anybody, as you'll see in the idea below. After the enemy is defeated, of course, Muslims are required to establish an Islamic state.

24. Islamic writings teach the use of pretext to start wars. The Qur'an devotes a lot of time complaining about people who did not support Mohammad when he first started his religion, with Allah often condemning them to torment in hell in the hereafter.

Mohammad was rather pushy and insistent with his religion, and when others felt intruded upon and protested, Mohammad took that to mean they were trying to stop Allah's holy prophet from bringing the revealed word of Allah to the world, so he was justified to fight them and destroy them as Allah's enemies. This is a demonstration of the principle of pretext.

Non-Muslims of the world need urgently to become aware of this principle. Of all the ideas in the Islamic collection, this is the most dangerous to the West because it removes our natural self-preserving defenses. The use of pretext tends to make the West defenseless against the Islamic invasion now underway. Muslim terrorists are not naive people. They are smart, educated, well-funded, and being used by a very clever idea-collection.

The invasion of the West is underway, and it is being done so cleverly, most Westerners don't even know it is happening. (Read more about their 20-year plan to overthrow the government of the United States. Also, read about the Shariatization of Europe.)

The use of pretext means you need only the barest excuse to begin hostilities. It means you're actually looking for an excuse, and even trying to provoke others into striking the first blow ("starting" the hostilities).

If the only way to get to Paradise is dying while fighting for Islam, you need war. And if it is your holy duty to make all governments use Shari'a law, you need to conquer those governments. But you don't really want to look like the aggressor. Appearances count. All throughout the Qur'an, Mohammad tries to justify his aggression as defending Islam.

The Qur'an repeats over seventy times that followers of Islam should use Mohammad as a model and imitate him. So Muslims the world over try to find or create grievances, so they can get a holy war started, so they can fight and die in Allah's cause and help make the world ruled by Allah's laws.

And because of the rise of multiculturalism (respect for all other cultures) in the West, the use of pretext is very effective against people who are unfamiliar with Islam. Many people think al Qaeda is angry at the West for having troops in Saudi Arabia, for example. That's merely a pretext. They want all non-Muslims out of the Middle East. Then they say they will cease hostilities. It is a ridiculous and impossible goal, so they are justified in permanent war against the West.

It's surprising that so many Westerners accept this particular pretext because it flies in the face of a fundamental Western principle: Equality. What Osama bin Laden is saying is "infidels are so undeserving, their very presence defiles our holy places." Wow. What does that say about the non-Muslims?

Why doesn't this kind of racism or prejudice or infidelphobia (or whatever you want to call it) outrage more Westerners? Instead, many think we ought to pull out of the Middle East so these poor offended Islamic supremacists aren't so angry with us any more!

The principle of pretext means you try to provoke a hostile reaction and then use the hostile reaction as a reason to escalate hostilities. It's the same method schoolyard bullies have used for thousands of years: "What are you looking at? You got a problem?! You wanna take it outside, punk?"

25. The explicit use of double standards. Islam has one standard for Muslims, and a different standard for non-Muslims, which always gives the advantage to Muslims and within a Muslim country, it provides incentives to convert.

For example, Islam must be spread by its believers, wherever they are. But when other religions try to spread their own idea-collection, Muslims are supposed to see it as an aggression against Islam — an act of aggression that must be "defended." Remember, Islam must always be defended.

Another example of how the double standard idea gives Islam an advantage: When Islam is defamed in any way, Muslims should violently defend it. Even in a cartoon. But Muslims can and should defame Jews and Christians in Muslim newspapers and television, and they should defame any infidel or enemy, as they defame the U.S. today.

Here's another example: The Islamic supremacists of Saudi Arabia are pouring money into building mosques all over the free world. But according to Shari'a law, which is the law in Saudi Arabia, no non-Muslim religious structures are allowed to be built.

Muslims all over the world protest loudly and violently when anyone in Europe or America resists the building of more mosques in their countries.

Islamic supremacists don't see the irony in it. They don't feel strange having such an obvious double standard. They are, after all, Allah's followers and everyone else is deluded. Fairness and equality with such unworthy infidels would seem very out of place. A double standard seems completely appropriate from that perspective.

The double standard principle is a key part of the idea-collection, and it has been a great advantage in the spread of Islam (and the suppression of competing religions).

26. It is forbidden to kill a Muslim (except for a just cause). It is not forbidden to kill an infidel. This causes a bond between Muslims, fear in non-Muslims, and motivation to become Muslim. This is also another example of an explicit Islamic double standard.

WE CAN ADMIRE the brilliance of the Islamic idea-collection in an abstract, intellectual sort of way, but it is terrifyingly real. Millions of people try to follow these ideas to the letter. And their belief in the idea-collection is strongly supported by the side-effects of Shari'a law. By making the government and laws ruled by Islam, the idea-collection applies two powerful principles of influence: social proof, and authority.

Everyone practices the religion in an Islamic state (or they are flogged, taxed, or killed) and no one can criticize it, not friend-to-friend, and not through any media. The psychological impact of this is enormous. Three generations later, it would be almost impossible for any Muslim living in that state to think outside of Islam. The authority and social proof would be overwhelming.

Of course, just because I admire the genius of the idea-collection doesn't mean I'm in favor of it. As a non-Muslim, I am wholeheartedly against it. Remember, the success of an idea-collection has nothing to do with making people happy or healthy. "Success" only means it propagates well.

The same is true for genes. A successful gene is one that gets the most copies of itself into future generations. The genes making up a deadly virus may kill millions of people and cause untold misery, but from a genetic point of view, the virus is successful. Genes don't care about people. They don't try to make us happy. They are cold and indifferent to our plight.

Same with ideas. An idea-collection will use up and spit out human lives in the service of its propagation, indifferent to the pain, misery, or death it causes.

An idea-collection, well-drilled into someone's head and reinforced by the powerful authority and social proof of his whole society, can cause him to blow himself up just to kill others for the fulfillment of a fantasy goal of ultimately attaining world peace and the triumph of Allah (and a harem of 72 dark-eyed voluptuous beauties devoted to his every wish).

The Islamic idea-collection is formidable. It is a force to be reckoned with and we ignore it at our peril. It has already taken hold of the minds and lives of almost one and a half billion people, and it's the youngest of the major religions.

And yet, I don't think the situation is hopeless. Many Muslims now living in Islamic states are trapped and would defect from Islam if it were safe to do so.

The first thing we in the multicultural and tolerant West need to do is help each other become aware of the formidable idea-collection threatening to overtake us. We need to help our fellow citizens awaken to the fact that Islamic supremacists will deliberately take advantage of our tolerance and our freedom so as to ultimately eliminate it.

This is an ideological war, so the ideas in the heads of your fellow Westerners makes all the difference. And you can help turn the tide. Find ways to introduce this information to your fellow non-Muslims. Here are a few ideas to help you.

You will be shocked at how little most people know about Islam. And they will be shocked to find out. And when enough non-Muslims know about it, Islamic tactics like pretext and deceit will be seen for what they are, and will no longer make us defenseless. When we know more about the founder (the one all Muslims should imitate) and the goals of Islam, our collective decisions and actions can effectively thwart their plans. Our collective grasp of the real situation will bring more rational changes to our laws and policies (such as our current immigration policies).

But to do this kind of innoculation, you have to have a pretty good handle on the Islamic teachings. That will require some study. I know you have other things to do, and you can't make this a full-time occupation, but I also know how serious this is, so it will require some sacrifice on your part.

Study that material, and start right away. After millions of people have fought against tyranny and died to gain the rights and freedoms we enjoy today, we are now confronted with a pernicious idea-collection hell-bent on taking them away. And the Islamic idea-collection could realistically succeed with terrifying brilliance.

Take action today. Learn about Islam. With every new understanding you have, and with every new certainty and clarity you gain, you will feel more bold in speaking up, and speaking up is exactly what we must do to win.

What Are We Fighting For?

IT'S NOT very difficult to read the Qur'an. A child can do it. With the work they've done at CSPI making two versions easily readable by Westerners, there is no excuse. The biggest issue facing Western civilization is the relentless aggression of Islamic supremacists, waging jihad by many means, including by gaining concessions, intimidation by violence, and outright murder.

And they continually and openly say they are doing it "in the name of Islam." And Islam has a only a few central holy books. The most central is the Qur'an.

Non-Muslims need to read this book. Non-Muslims need to be educated about Islam. A lot of the Qur'an is devoted to how Muslims should deal with non-Muslims.

In the effort to educate my fellow non-Muslims about Islam, I have been experimenting with different approaches. I've been trying to discover what's the best way to get my point across persuasively. One especially effective approach is to aggressively try to sell them on reading the Qur'an for themselves.

This approach does three good things. First, it reveals that I am both knowledgeable and confident. I'm so confident in what I'm saying, I want them to read the source and decide for themselves.

Second, it brings out in the open the fact that I have read the Qur'an and they haven't. This gives everything they say the feeling of obvious ignorance, and everything I say the feeling of evident knowledge.

Here's what I've discovered: As soon as I start trying to sell people on reading the Qur'an and describing what's in it, the whole tenor of the conversation shifts from a kind of arrogant dismissiveness to a respectful openness to what I'm saying. It's magic.

And the third good thing about this approach is that, it's all you would need to do. If they read the Qur'an, you need no longer tell them anything else about Islam.

Convince them to read A Simple Koran or An Abridged Koran, and explain why these are good books. Even your description of these books is a powerful display of your wealth of knowledge on the core subject and their total lack of knowledge about it.

For example, here's what I said recently to a friend of mine. We'd had a brief conversation in person, but it was cut short by circumstances, so I followed up with an email. I wrote:

What I meant to say is that there are good people who are Muslims, but in order to be a good person as a Muslim, you have to be a lousy Muslim (not follow the teachings of the religion). If you don't believe me, you really should read the Qur'an for yourself. Go to the source, man. It's not hard to understand, and it is not at all vague. It says exactly what it means. There are no clever parables to decipher, no symbolic language, no metaphorical prophesies. It is full of straight-up commands written by a single person. Direct. No room for misinterpretation.

I recommend a book called A Simple Koran. It is simple in the sense that it is made to be understood by Westerners. But it is the entire Qur'an written in modern English. It is hard to get through the first three-fourths of it (because it is incredibly repetitious and boring) but things really heat up at the end. It will blow your mind. No kidding.

Don't assume any more, and don't listen to raving maniacs like me any more. Find out for yourself.

In that second-to-last line, I referred to myself as a raving maniac to soften the harshness of accusing him of assuming he knows about Islam when he doesn't.

So anyway, try this approach and see how it works for you. If you haven't read the Qur'an yet, you really need to do it. Trust me on this. It will put your conversations on a whole new footing. After you read it, push people to read the Qur'an for themselves.

"Are You a Hatemonger? I Don't Believe in Promoting Hatred"

THIS IS another installation in our series, Answers to Objections. When you criticize Islam, you may very well be accused of being a "hater," as if telling people about basic Islamic doctrines means you advocate hatred toward Muslims as the solution. And nobody likes a hater, or wants to be one.

This objection is fairly easy to answer. Here are three possible ways to respond:

1. Hatred is not the answer. If anything, I am anti-hatred. That's why I am trying to expose Islamic teachings: Shari'a law includes a system of legally-mandated hatred. Mohammad is their model, and he expressed hatred toward non-Muslims. He maligned them, robbed them, tortured them, killed them, raped them, and took them as slaves. Muslims are supposed to follow his example. It says so in the Qur'an over seventy times.

2. I'm talking about the teachings, not the people. Some Muslims follow the teachings, and some are Muslim in name only. But non-Muslims need to know about the teachings, because many of the most fundamental Islamic teachings are about how to deal with non-Muslims. According to the teachings, we must be subjugated under Islamic law. All of us. Voluntarily or by force. And the tens of millions or hundreds of millions who follow Islamic doctrine to the letter are actively working toward that end. They have gained control over how Islam is taught in American schoolbooks. Devoted followers have set up organizations in the United States and other Western democracies with the express purpose of undermining those democracies from within. We need to know about this stuff. It is affecting us already.

3. If I say the teachings of communism advocate ending economic inequalities, does that make me a hatemonger? If I say Republicans advocate smaller government, does that make me a hater? If I say Buddhists believe in reincarnation, does that make me a hater? But if I say the teachings of Islam advocate striving to institute worldwide Shari'a law, that makes me a hatemonger? That doesn't make any sense. Where did you come up with that?

WHEN YOU answer these questions, think of the question itself as an earnest request for knowledge, even if the question comes out as an accusation. People don't really know how to understand what you're doing, so they use the only model they can think of to interpret your actions: They think you must be like a racist or a religious bigot or something along those lines.

So a helpful response is to give them a better model to interpret with. What you're doing is much closer to education than hatemongering. Urge them to read the Qur'an for themselves to find out more about it.

The Struggle to Reach People

I received a letter from a woman named Cheryl who lives in Wales, UK. She only recently found out about Islam's supremacist agenda and I asked her what caused her to awaken. I am intensely curious about the circumstances that lead to an awakening, and if you would like to write to me about how you came to realize Islam has not been "hijacked by extremists," I would love to hear it. Write to me here.

I asked Cheryl if I could excerpt some of her letter in an article, and she said yes. Here's what she said:

The first time I became aware of things was when some people at Mass at my church said the UK would be Islamic within 50 years, the way things are going. After hearing this a few times I began looking it up on the net, being skeptical but just wanting to see why they said that, and to prove them wrong. Well of course I soon found that there was no real counter-argument and that in fact it's a lot more like 10 years. Maybe less.

I then took a deep look at the history and teachings of Islam itself. By this time I had joined the British National Party and was receiving relevant material, videos, etc., from them and other websites like JihadWatch and LionHeart.

When I told my daughter we are in danger of becoming Islamic she said, "So what?" She didn't even want to know about how it isn't exactly the picnic she imagines. She accused me of racism and is disgusted at my nationalist leanings. She's 21 and at college.

My son is 23 and has a six-week old baby girl, who is a real blessing and a joy. First of all, my son was interested in all this but very surprised at my views, and said that if civil war broke out the police and MI5 would look after us. For a time I was comforted by that. But then I began to see that these people who we've traditionally relied upon will in fact not help us, though I do believe MI5 are trying to foil bomb attacks, but I have no faith in the police. I don't know about the army.

But it seems to me no one would do anything much to stop us being killed. I showed my son a film called Islam's Not For Me but very soon, he got fed up, said it was all hate propaganda and he didn't want to discuss this whole topic any more. It depressed him, and even if I'm right, he said, the problem seems so advanced and the odds stacked so heavily against us that we may as well just enjoy however many years we have left, and stop worrying, otherwise "the Muslim bastards are winning now, robbing us of our peace and happiness."

I am now banned from any Muslim conversation with my family. They feel sorry for me, that I'm in this state of worry. All my family are clueless about Islam. They think it's a bunch of guys who worship a guy called Mecca who lives in Mohammed.

Mind you, I've no room to talk...I knew very little about Islam either. I had the usual vague idea that it was similar to Judaism and Christianity. Even while staying in Egypt and Turkey, I never bothered to look into it.

I actually studied theology at university but Islam wasn't covered in that. Maybe it would have been in comparative religion, I don't know. Anyway, although I've looked at many religions and cults, for some reason I never looked at Islam. Obviously, I have now and I can see how it's unlike any other belief system. I actually think it's demonic and a counterfeit Christianity.

Some of my friends think I've been brainwashed and Islam will never take hold here. One friend believes that even if I'm right, God will stop this happening. This friend has a sense of peace about it all and is sure I'm worrying unnecessarily. He doesn't see it being resolved by war or violence at all. He lives in London and is surrounded by Muslims but really feels that, in some way we can't begin to imagine, just like a few years back we couldn't have dreamed what's happening now, the situation will change in our favour. He thinks they might convert, or return to their own lands due to something we can't see yet, or maybe they'll all die from some plague or virus through their dreadful halal meat. He doesn't give them the satisfaction of worrying. As for making plans to move to a remote part of Scotland or something, he thinks that's crazy.

But this same friend cannot accept that Muslims hate us and deceive us. I have another friend, from Ireland who thinks the whole thing will dilute, as many young Muslims, especially women, enjoy the freedoms they have here and want to keep the Western way of life. They like our clothes and don't want to wear the burqa. They will see that their religion is junk. Actually, a lot of them here say they do see that, but how can you trust them?

Some people I've spoken to agree with me, but they already had that view. So in other words I'm not conveying the message very well.

I moved to North Wales a long time ago from Manchester. There are many English people here but it's still a Welsh place, with Welsh being spoken and still some very anti-English attitudes. There are, by comparison with other areas of the UK, very few Muslims. However, there are some. An extended family from Pakistan have bought at least 12 convenience stores, sometimes with post offices as well, all across the area in different villages.

I think the main hurdle I had, in coming to grips with the Islamic situation, was that I couldn't understand their hatred for us. I actually felt a sense of of personal hurt, and then outrage when I realised how they've conned us.

Some Muslims can now have 4 wives here and dozens of children, all sponging off our welfare. If these marriages happened in Islamic countries we have to recognise them.

At this point, Cheryl went on to discuss other matters. The reason I wanted to publish Cheryl's letter is because her description of the responses she has gotten from the different people in her life seem to correspond with the whole gamut I have personally experienced, as well as the experiences I have heard about from other people who have written to me.

In other words, when someone first hears about basic Islamic teachings, they have one of several different kinds of reactions:

1. They might be interested and curious, realizing that they really don't know anything about Islam. This is a very rare response unless you are very good at presenting the information.

2. Like Cheryl's daughter, they might wonder what difference it would make. This stems from an ignorance of both Islamic law and our own culture.

3. Like Cheryl's son, they might think the experts — the military, the police, the politicians — will take care of it, so we don't need to worry about it.

4. And also like Cheryl's son's second response, many people want to write it off as "hate propaganda." Or the subject is so depressing, they want to avoid talking about it. Or that our best response is to ignore it, because if it bothers us "then the terrorists win."

5. Like one of Cheryl's friends, another response you'll get is the belief or hope or ardent wish that God will take care of it. Or that luck or fate will intervene and save us.

What all of these responses have in common (except the first one) is a desire to avoid having to deal with it. People are hoping it's not true. They want to write you off. They desperately desire to ignore this issue because they've got a life to live, and nowhere in their plans have they included time spent dealing with such an unpleasant topic.

On top of that, the underlying belief in all the responses except the first one is that there doesn't seem to be anything we can do about it. Worrying certainly doesn't help. What else can we do? They don't know. And because they don't know, and it seems to them (in their haste to write it off and stop thinking about such a distressing subject) that nothing can be done about it, what's the point of being upset just to be upset?

But all of these notions contain thought-mistakes. The hopelessness is mistaken. The feeling of helplessness is mistaken. We are not helpless in this, and that is the message we must hammer home when we talk to people. Address the issue directly. We've got to continue to try to reach these people, constantly improve our delivery, and turn them around. Failure is not an option.

Demoting Islam's Religion Status

ONE THING is certain, Islam is not a religion by anything Americans believe one to be — not even close. In fact, Islam is the antithesis of what we deem to be religious. Above all, Islam is a totalitarian political machine of bloodthirsty conquest which zealously advocates the downfall of the U.S. government. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world…” because he was 100% non-political. In extreme contrast, Mohammed and the Koran bellicosely command YOUR KINGDOM IS MY KINGDOM, surrender or die! Let’s be to the point. It is sheer madness, exceedingly irresponsible, criminally negligent, and strategically suicidal to continue granting religion status to an absolutely aggressive and implacable ideology that demands the destruction of our government and all other religions.

It is well past time the truthful facts be told about Islam. Our leadership and intelligence community have lied and lied again, referring to Islam as a religion of peace. If Islam is to be categorized as a religion — then it must be called what it truthfully is — A RELIGION OF WAR. Unfortunately our leadership has become so inept, they have chosen to be in denial of this obvious fact, and entertain fanciful notions — that by calling a “bloodthirsty tiger” a “bunny rabbit” it will magically transform into one.

This means, we now have America’s Sugar Plum Fairy National Security Policy: All of the Islamofascists can be won over by simply labeling them “friends.” How dare we even utter the word enemy. That might upset them. We now have a national security mantra: Islam is perfect! Islam is perfect! Islam is perfect!

The purpose of this article is to introduce the proposition that Islam’s religion status is undeserving, that it should never have been granted in the first place, and that its religion status should be immediately rescinded.

Why? Because Islam — whether you call it moderate, militant, main stream, traditional or radical — is a relentless foe inherently programmed to conqueror its host nation. Fail to understand this point and Islam will continue “trashing” civil liberties, shedding bloody pandemonium, wreaking havoc, litigating as warfare, demanding special privileges, and instigating anarchy until its host country suffers irreparable harm if not outright defeat. Such is the virulent modus operandi being used by Islam in England, Spain, India, France, Thailand, Holland, Bali, Lebanon, Denmark, Sweden, Philippines, Russia, America and elsewhere.

Perhaps, this is why Dr. Paul Williams, author of Dunces of Doomsday so truthfully and valiantly states in Chapter 1, Refusing to Identify the Enemy:

“The enemy is Islam. Not a fringe group within the body of believers … Not radical Islam as if a faction can be separated from the “mainstream” Islam. But Islam itself, as expressed by the life and teachings of Muhammad …”

An Impostor Religion

To put it bluntly, Islam’s religion status should be rescinded because it is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a Trojan horse, an impostor religion that has arrived on our shore with malicious intent, deathly determined to replace our constitution with the Koran, and turn America into an Islamic nation controlled by Sharia law. Robert Spencer in his excellent book, Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs, explains how so-called moderate Islam is having greater success at invading America than its counterpart, militant Islam. Shockingly, one may rightly conclude that America is now being conquered without Islam even having to fire a shot. Have we really become that docile, self-complacent and pathetic? The answer is Yes!

The Sham of Moderate Islam

Does this mean that even so-called moderate Muslims are hostile to America? It certainly does. Moderate Muslims support the conquest of America with a fervor equal to that of the militant Muslims. They cunningly play the role of the “good cop” in their good cop, bad cop charade deceiving we gullible Americans. In fact, the “two hands” of Islam aspire to choke the life out of America. One hand is called militant Muslims, the other hand is called moderate Muslims. These “two hands” work together, in their Koranically mandated asphyxiation pogrom, of strangling America into submission. This point cannot be overemphasized.

In 1974 Algerian President Boumendienne made a prophetic statement to the United Nations General Assembly:

“One day millions of men will leave the southern hemisphere of this planet to burst into the northern one. But not as friends. Because they will burst in to conquer, and they will conquer by populating it with their children. Victory will come to us from the wombs of our women.”

How accurately prophetic he was. Today, one can see no assimilation by Muslims in their host nations and they frequently exhibit open hostility, turning entire cities into Muslim enclaves which the police are reluctant to enter. In addition, their birthrate is four times the European average, creating a large cash-deficiency within the social welfare system. It is hardly an exaggeration to say Muslim immigration is like a “swarm of invading locusts,” devouring everything in their path.

Dutch Politician Geert Wilders, having suffered first-hand the “devouring” of his nation by so-called moderate Islam, unflinchingly states in his article, “The Islamization of Europe”…“There is no Moderate Islam.” The United States, like all besieged western democracies, must heed Geert Wilders' warning if they wish to protect themselves. Clearly, the safe harbor of religion status enables the “two hands” of Islam to launch clandestine raids upon their host nation, sapping its vitals from within.

A Road To Hell

The severity of the moderate Islam invasion is thoroughly understood by Islamic experts like Amil Amani. In his article, “A Bridge To 'Moderate' Islam Is In Fact a Road to Hell.” He emphatically warns there is no such thing as moderate Islam and to call it so is an oxymoron, a contradiction. Specifically he states:

“Since moderate Islam is oxymoronic, any moderacy in Islam is in fact incompatible and in conflict with essential Islam, its power structure and its controlling proponents...Islam is not personally or spiritually relevant. It is political, which is why it may never separate itself from government. Adherence is not a matter of voluntary devotion, but of the law, and violators are severely punished, including capital punishment...”

Another enlightened expert who has personally witnessed that moderate Islam is a road to hell is Brigitte Gabriel. In her book, Because They Hate, she gives a clarion call describing how the ruse of moderate Islam turned her home country of Lebanon into a “living nightmare.” She states:

“We were renowned for our hospitality, good heartedness, and generosity, just as America is known for the same qualities today. Sadly, those same qualities were the cause of our destruction...We did not realize that the intolerant Islamic side of our culture was gaining strength on the back of our western openness and pride in diversity.”

Most likely, Brigitte Gabriel would agree that providing religion status to Islam, believing mainstream Islam to be moderate, was a major contributor to the destruction of Lebanon. The key point is that so-called moderate Muslims are as fiercely intolerant as militant Muslims, but are more skillful at concealing their agenda and deceiving their host nation until the time is right for them to strike. Brigitte Gabriel tells how usually-peaceful Muslim neighbors who had befriended them for decades all of a sudden rose up to kill non-Muslims.

Murderous Intolerance

Such murderous intolerance is fully entrenched within Islam. The so-called moderates fully support these murderous attacks in their “hidden hearts,” rarely paying even lip service to the contrary. Their silence has been “deafening.” Why? Because they dare not challenge the inviolate precedents set by their prophet which would be a capital offense. For example, in 623 A.D. Mohammed was infuriated with the female poet Asma Bint Marwan for criticizing him, and sent his henchman to kill her and her five children. They ripped the infant from her breast and hacked it to pieces before her very eyes. They then made her watch the murder of her other four children, before raping and stabbing her repeatedly to death. After the butchery, Mohammed told his henchman, “You have done a service to Allah and his Messenger.”

The killing of persons who criticize Islam has never abated and perhaps is even more alive today than in the 7th century. A few years ago in the U.S. an Egyptian Christian, his wife and two children had their throats cut for challenging Islam, mistakenly believing our free speech laws would protect them. Nearly every day one hears of some gruesome murder, decapitation, or other violent crime committed by contemporary Muslims who are emulating the example of their prophet.

The Heart War

99.9% of all Muslims have a deeply-held secret agenda (wish) that Islam will conquer their host country and turn it into an Islamic nation. Such is their indelible religious conditioning. This obvious fact has been completely neglected, ignored, avoided and shunned by the leadership of western democracies to their great detriment, including America.

Fortunately we have one Islamic expert who is trying to awaken our leadership and his sleeping counterparts in the defense department and intelligence community. He is truly a “shinning star” and a person of insightful wisdom who should be promoted to the highest positions. Major Stephen Collins Coughlin has written a 333-page thesis entitled, “To Our Great Detriment.” (Read it here as a PDF document.) On pages 171-175 he provides a quote that reveals the concealed heart of so-called moderate Muslims. The Caliph (Pope) of the Ottoman empire spelled out what has always been the irrefutable law for all Muslims without exception:

“The heart war — and that is the lowest form of the war. And it is that the Muslim should believe in his heart that the infidels are enemies to him and to his religion, and that he should desire their disappearance and the destruction of their power, And no Muslim can be imagined who is not under obligation to this degree of war. Verily, all the people of the faith are under obligation to this amount without any question whatever, in whatever place they may be...”

Prediction

Permit me to make a grim prediction: Any country that continues to provide religion status to Islam, believing that moderate Muslims will save the day, has been “sucker-punched” and is guaranteed to suffer great havoc and disruptive chaos. The proof is undeniable. Look at the mayhem Islam has inflicted upon all western democracies over the past 20 years. The self-destructive formula is simple: Provide religion status to the sham of moderate Islam and your country will suffer great devastation.

Never before in human history has a nation’s leadership and intelligence community been so easily duped, confounded, played for fools, infiltrated and manipulated by enemy propagandists and apologists. Our leadership has become so pusillanimous in the face of Islamic bullying and brow-beating, they have become their lackeys, aiding and abetting the invasion of the very nation they are suppose to protect. The situation is critical. The demoting of Islam’s religion status will turn the tide and send a clear-cut message to Islam that the dust of Allah is no longer befogging our vision, enabling them to conqueror us.

"Isn't This Bigotry?"

THIS IS another in our series, Answers to Objections. When you say anything negative about Islamic doctrine, one of the responses you'll typically get is an implication that you are a bigot. If you ever hear this, your first response should be to define "bigot." Most people don't really know what it means. They only know it is a bad thing and has something to do with racism.

A bigot is "strongly partial to his own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ."

So someone who is a Christian, for example, and is intolerant of anyone who is not a Christian, is a bigot. Or anyone who is Chinese and intolerant of anyone who is not Chinese, is a bigot. If the group to which you are partial is your race, then bigotry is the same as racism. If that's what you're accused of and you are not a racist, we've got some good responses to the racism accusation here. If you are accused of religious bigotry and it's not true, we have some good responses to the "religious intolerance" accusation here.

There are definitely people trying to stop Islam's relentless encroachment who are motivated by bigotry. But criticism of Islamic doctrine is not bigotry.

You can answer the bigotry objection very simply. First, define it. And then say, "I am partial to groups who want to support the continued existence of the United States (or the UK, or wherever you are). So I guess in that sense, I am a bigot — I am partial to a group and intolerant of subversives. I don't want our government overthrown or subverted by someone who wants to follow Shari'a law. I am against any movement trying to take away women's rights, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech, which is what Islamic supremacists are doing."

And maybe you can add something like this: "But if that can be defined as a bigot, I hope you are that kind of bigot, too. Are you?"

The real objection of someone who fears you are a bigot is that you are against everyone if they are not of your religion, your race, or your political persuasion. And that you might be intolerant of such people simply because of those things.

Is it true? Do you believe that your way is the only right way? Are you intolerant of anyone not like you?

Do you believe others have a right to worship as they wish? Do you believe people of other races have the same human rights as yours?

If you are a Republican and you have Democrat friends, if you are a Jew and have a Buddhist, Hindu, or Christian friend, if you are Anglo-Saxon but have a Mexican friend, you are not a bigot. And if your accuser says so, you can point out these things and then get back to the real issue: The doctrine of Islam, our right to criticize it, and the danger it presents to the free world.

The Key Point of the Whole Argument

IN OUR discussions with others about the third jihad, what is the one barrier that seems insurmountable? Here's what I'll bet it is: You say it is a fundamental and essential part of Islam that Muslims must wage jihad against non-Muslims until the whole world submits to Islamic law. And they say, "It can't be."

It can't be because all religions are the same. It can't be because everyone is basically good. It can't be because most Muslims aren't violent. It can't be because if it is, the consequences would be too much to bear. It can't be because only a racist would say such a thing. It can't be because everybody knows Islam is a religion of peace. It can't be because I have this Muslim friend and he is really nice.

In other words, all the things people say to you to argue this point are a desperate attempt to not allow that fact to be true.

This should be the key point of any public education we engage in: That it's an essential part of Islam to wage jihad until the whole world submits to Islamic law. Once that point is accepted, all things that need to be understood can be understood easily.

But how can you get someone to accept that fact as a fact?

Last night I was reading a rather long article called A New Koran? and I think I've found something we could use to help people accept the key point.

The article is a discussion between several well-known people. Among them are Robert Spencer, Bill Warner, Khalim Massoud (president of Muslims Against Sharia).

The topic of discussion is the re-writing of the Qur'an. Massoud is working on a project that removes all exhortations to intolerance and violence from the Qur'an. The argument goes on to discuss how the Muslim world has responded to this and other attempts to make the Qur'an less dangerous for non-Muslims.

As I was reading, something struck me: THIS would be persuasive evidence for the unenlightened.

These Islamic scholars, some of them Muslims, are almost universal in their agreement that the Muslim world will never accept at altered version of the Qur'an. In other words, intolerance and violence toward non-Muslims is such an inherent, fundamental part of the Qur'an, taking it out would make Islamic teachings almost unrecognizable to the Muslim world!

This is the kind of article that would only be interesting to those who are in the field — those who write and speak about it, or who are working on projects to stop Islam's relentless encroachment. But I thought this might be good evidence to make our point in a way the uninitiated would listen to.

I suggest we print out the article and have it handy. I suggest we bookmark it where we can find it easily. And then let's use this article when someone says, "It can't be."

How Would THEY See This?

WE NEED to reach people with the message that Islam's relentless encroachment must be stopped. The question is, "How can people be reached?" We obviously can't just blurt out what we know self-righteously with the attitude that if you can't handle the truth, then you're a wimp. Anyone coming across like that would help the cause more to keep silent.

We've got to think in terms of "What would a blind multiculturalist think about this?" How would they see it? How do they hear you? We've got to reach them. They are looking for a reason to discount this.

What can we do to become more effective? My first suggestion may sound elementary, but it is important: Spell correctly. If you write anything anywhere, double- and triple-check your writing. Make it as free of mistakes as you can, as professional as you can, and as articulate as you can. Avoid emotional rambling. Make your point as succinctly as you can with as much logic, reason, and evidence as you can.

Same goes for what to do when you're speaking to someone in person too. Give them no easy reason to dismiss what you're saying. Go out of your way to avoid hitting their triggers. Don't throw in conspiracy theories in the middle of your comments. Don't go off on tangents about anything a multiculturalist would consider "right wing," like gun laws or stockpiling weapons and ammunition.

You've got to get inside their heads and look over at you through their point of view. You have legitimate information and, if they understood it, they would want to do something to about it.

And do not come off as if you know something and they are ignorant, even if it's true. Do not come off as better than others. We are not better than others because we know about Islam and they don't. It doesn't make us better — it burdens us with a responsibility that we had better take seriously: The responsibility to get through to our fellow citizens and help them understand.

Being right isn't good enough. Plenty of people in history were right and failed. Those who opposed the Communist revolutions in Russia, China, and Cambodia were right — and they lost. We have to be effective, not just right. You will make no converts being an obnoxious know-it-all. I've tried it. ;-)

Think back to before your eyes were opened. If someone came at you wild-eyed and full of seemingly-racist conspiracy theories, you would probably have recoiled from it, and recoiled from the point of view, and recoiled from the idea that Islam might be dangerously different from other ideologies you're familiar with, and you may never have given that idea any serious thought again.

We need to be careful. We cannot afford to lose people like that. We need to present our information as a realistic, unexaggerated, well-grounded, authoritative understanding of world. We need to make it clear that important people "in the know" also see it this way. We need to avoid presenting it as something "nobody else knows," because they will think, "Yeah, right. You have figured out what the mucky-mucks in the Pentagon haven't figured out? Sure, buddy. Why don't you calm down and we'll give you a sedative."

We need to be perceived as reasonable. We need to have our facts straight and well-memorized. We need to be persuasive. We must win people over to our side, and we must do it as quickly as possible.

Sacrifices in the War Effort

EVERY WAR has casualties. This war is no different. We are fighting for liberty and equality, and we are fighting against an enemy — Islamic supremacism — which seeks to take it away by imposing Shari'a law wherever it can find the opportunity.

Islamic supremacists will be stopped in their tracks and their progress will be reversed when enough non-Muslims are made aware of the existence and the methods of the third jihad.

Each of us who have committed ourselves to this war will make sacrifices. We will suffer casualties. Maybe not physical injuries because this is a different kind of war for us non-military citizen warriors, but casualties nonetheless. Below are a few comments I've gleaned from other web sites and from notes sent to me. They are comments by brave citizen warriors fighting the war on the front lines and suffering casualties for the good of us all.

The reason I'm bringing this up is to put our sufferings in context. Rather than comparing our trials and tribulations with a status quo of everything humming along smoothly with no conflict, I wanted to contrast our war with wars of the past. For example, World War II. The photo above is in Normandy, where British and American and German and French soldiers lost their lives.

Even women and men in the French Resistance lost their lives. The losses we suffer as citizen warriors — even the tough ones like losing someone's friendship or losing a job — are fairly minor in comparison. This is a perspective we should remind ourselves of from time to time.

But still, the people who wrote the comments listed below are voluntarily giving up a comfortable apathy and have thrown themselves into the one thing that needs to be done: Education of our fellow non-Muslims about Islamic supremacism. I salute and honor these brave women and men for their sacrifices. Here are their comments:

1. It is getting more and more difficult to reach people to get them to understand. Yes, I've made some small headway lately, but the numbers of the newly awakened are very, very few. I do know somebody in the school system who broached the subject carefully. She was working as a substitute and had an impeccable reputation as a superb teacher and years of experience with that particular school system.

I'm sure that you've already guessed the outcome. She is now training for a different career entirely. The phone calls to substitute have dropped off so far as to make a living impossible.

As you likely know, several of us counterjihadists tried terrestrial radio last summer and into the fall. The donations were few and far between. No sponsors were forthcoming. Any feedback was next to nothing for the size of that market.

On a personal level, I've lost most of my friends over the issues we discuss here. I've lost clients as well. I'm not whining, merely stating the facts.

I believe that any additional waking up will not come without a heavy price of lives — here in America or in the UK. Many Americans don't give a rat's ass about what happens in any European nation other than the UK. In addition, good old American optimism works against us: people have lulled themselves with "It's gonna be okay."

2. It only took 55 Founders — people of character...Most of my former 'friends' are not around — it's tough being a 'prophet' — the ones I have, I treasure. The others, well, I simply don't have time for their go-along-to-get-along attitude...

3. I'm with you on the lost friends and slow to wake people up. In fact, some that I had won over have started to slip back. All hopeychangeylike.

4. My sister understands but doesn't want to deal with all the hatred and prefers to live in an ignorant state while nurturing her grandchildren. My niece has Muslim acquaintances and thinks they are peaceful and the call to stop the Islamic agenda is premature.

My other niece thinks it is a crime to disparage any other religion and refuses to listen to anything out of her PC world, including the truth. I find that the PC people seem to outnumber all others and they refuse to even listen to anything but the lies from CAIR.

It is discouraging to go up against the well-coordinated Muslim taqiyya as people want to believe in the goodness of others and they block out the daily Islamic atrocities as being aberrations. That is why I was thinking more along the lines of aggressive behavior but you are right in that it does nothing to win the minds of the non-Muslims. Getting more people involved is the key. I've seen too many rallies where the Muslims outnumber the peaceful protesters 5 to 1.

5. Yup, big fan of ACT for America and I'm trying to educate as many as I can, but found out that I'm losing a lot of friends too, so that's why I need some balance in it.

6. I became a Muslim in college during my "seeking" years. I grew up Christian and am blessed to be back in the embrace of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. My family did not "disown" me, but they didn't hide their true feelings. I have been freed from Islam for 15-16 yrs.

Most people I do talk with are Christians who "get it," they don't give me so much rebuttal and they're always interested to hear my experiences. The one "place" I can always go to stop an argument is, "Who are you to tell me my experiences?"

7. Most of the people I talk to don't have any knowledge of Islam or the Quran. In fact they don't want to hear about Islam due to the day-by-day relentless coverage of the barbaric acts of Muslims around the world. So the moment I use words like Muhammad, Quran, Islam or jihad, they turn off their minds and go into a state of selective deafness. Some just tell me that they don't want to hear about the hate and I should concentrate my attention on positive things like family and helping others. These are the same people that nod in agreement that Islam is a religion of peace and that Muslims should be given special status as they are always vilified by the Islamophobes.

I guess it helps to have a listener that is interested in hearing the truth but in my experience, the listeners I have talked to have already accepted the lies and deception of Islam.

It is a hard sell but you have to remain true to yourself and realize that for each willing listener, there are 10 who refuse to hear or learn anything about Islam.

8. I am in the UK, so some of the US-intended messages won't apply, but I am pretty sure that most of the content will apply, wherever I am. It's an international problem (can I say that? Problem? I don't know what else to call it.)

Yes, it has reared its ugly head quite recently, and in some very forceful ways. And yes, we (the West, the East...et al) need to address it, as you say, now — leave it another year (bury your head in the sand...) and it will be 10 times worse.

The problems are many — I have no doubt that the whole Middle East will blame Israel, when all I see is them being attacked. To date, I don't think they have 'started' anything — and I am making a big distinction between throwing your military at some foe, and defending yourself. There are many who are caught by the Arab ace-in-the-hole, oil, and can't see past it. So they 'accommodate' things, in the hope that we can be neighbourly for another year, maybe more...?

It's a huge problem, and to be fair to the general population, many can't work out what to do about it. I think this is where sites like yours, and others, are vital. I am one of those who has been trying to work out what to do, and I hope that I don't start making too many mistakes. But to stay silent, while this wave of hatred rises up, cannot go on. We, the people, must be heard, and ways like this, through FaceBook, and any means at our disposal, must continue.

9. My friends are generally between the age of 22 to 35, and they are usually either drunk or stoned...they are not scared, they are ignorant...not stupid. They are street smart, but they have no clue...the topic is way too serious for these types of people...they want freaky or funny. They like Obama because his message is empty and filled with fluffy soft cuddly statements about hope and bla bla, that is my true belief. My friends are not bad people, they are just lazy...sitting around playing damn video games, drinking. Makes me sick, I have lost many friends to drugs.

I have been barking up their tree for years. It has been frustrating to say the least. But let me tell you, I have seen a huge change even in the last weeks...they are waking up. I just hope its not too late.

Keep On Fighting For Geert Wilders and Freedom of Speech

BACK IN January, we published a few articles about Geert Wilders. The following is a special update from SITAmnesty:

The international SITA action in support of Geert Wilders began on January 21st, 2009 and to date (March 20th, 2009) is a success. 3500 visits have been registered to the site http://sitamnesty.wordpress.com/ for the 4 proposed actions. That totals hundreds of letters (as reported by the Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf) which have arrived at the Court in Amsterdam, at the offices of lawyer Spong and at the Dutch Justice Ministry. These letters resulted in the visit of the Ministry for Justice to the SITAmnesty — proof that they are disturbed by our SITA mailings.

A drop of water which falls regularly on the same spot manages to penetrate the hardest rock.

Our SITA mailings must continue to sow doubt and uncertainty among the dhimmis of Amsterdam. Now it is necessary to break down their morale by maintaining a regular flow of letters; not necessarily in great quantities but on a regular basis because they must not be allowed to believe that mailings will decrease and eventually stop and that people will end up forgetting Geert Wilders. Let them be surprised that the flow continues!

So we invite all those who took an active part in this action to reactivate it. Bear in mind that there are always new readers who do not know about SITAactions and some who don't even know about Geert Wilders’ predicament.

"Are You An Islamophobe?"

THIS IS another in our series, Answers to Objections. I've answered this objection several times in previous articles, and I'll give you links to those in a moment. But first I'd like to hammer home something: The number one thing that needs to happen is for a far larger percentage of the population to know some basic information about Islamic supremacism.

We need your help. You have a sphere of influence. It may be forty people; it may be two hundred. But whatever your sphere of influence, we're going to try to help you be more effective at teaching your fellow non-Muslims some basic facts about Islam.

When you mention anything that sounds critical of Islam, most people will try to defend it, even if they know nothing about it. If you are unprepared for the hostile response you get, you will not make any gains toward the goal.

The purpose of this series is to help you deal with those responses successfully. We have a list of the 18 objections people make and this series will show you how to respond to them in a way that will open your listeners' minds. We'll publish the entire list at the end, with each objection linked to an article that answers it. This is number 8.

Now, here is some help in answering this objection (or accusation):

1. Robert Spencer's definition of Islamophobia.

2. This is an article that will help you clarify what you're doing when you criticize Islam. It articulates what is wrong with the term "Islamophobia."

3. This is an article written by Ali Sina, the famous ex-Muslim, writing about the term "Islamophobia" and what, specifically makes the term meaningless.

4. This is a video: Robert Spencer's simple plan to end Islamophobia. It's kind of tongue-in-cheek, but he makes some good points, and you might want to send it to anyone who accuses you of being an Islamophobe.

5. And this is an article I wrote to peaceful Muslims who often write to me and tell me I shouldn't criticize Islam. I talk a bit about "Islamophobia" in the article.

I recommend you study this material. Maybe even make an audio recording of the articles and listen to it in your car. When you're trying to educate someone and he brings up an objection like this, you should be overly prepared — so prepared that the objection doesn't bother you even a little bit. I want you to be so prepared that you are actually glad they gave you an objection you know how to answer so masterfully.

Why Is This Happening?

I RECENTLY received a long letter from a woman who just found out a few months ago "the true extent of the Islamic problem." And now she is depressed and worried and doesn't understand why the government is allowing it to continue. She is from the UK where Islamic supremacists have been allowed to operate relatively unimpeded.

Why, she wondered, doesn't the government shut down the mosques and deport the Muslims? Why would so many European governments allow the Islamization of their countries?

She said she was confused and distressed by this seeming cooperation between Western governments and Islamic supremacists. She asked, "Why is this happening?"

After I was done answering her, I thought, "I should post this." So here it is:

This is one of the questions I have asked myself many times and written about quite a bit. It's a big topic. There isn't one reason it is happening. There are many:

1. Tens of thousands of Islamic supremacists are able to devote all their time to jihad because they are being supported by rich oil billionaires. The flow of money to these oil billionaires needs to be cut off, and you can help. Start here (this site is for Americans, but I'm sure you can find something similar in the UK). They are also being supported by zakat — the "alms" Muslims give to their mosques all over the world. Much of that money finds its way to Jihadis. Jihad is doing Allah's work, and it is apparently a perfectly legitimate charitable activity.

2. The tactics of Islamic supremacists are unethical from a Western point of view. War is deceit, as Mohammad put it. They will tell Westerners whatever Westerners will believe. They study the Western mind. They try to discover what will appeal to people and then they use their understanding to fool the Western public by talking in terms of cultural diversity or by accusing people of racism (to silence their critics) or by presenting themselves as the poor, third-world underdogs. They disarm us with pity.

3. I don't know how it is in the UK, but in America, the two main political parties have separated themselves along these lines: The conservatives think Islam is a threat, and the liberals think the conservatives are only saying that to scare people. Anything conservatives say is suspect. Many liberals, especially college students, believe in wild conspiracy theories. I suspect many of these theories originated in Muslim minds, and through their influence on campuses, have mislead many young people about Islam's relentless encroachment. The influence begins pretty early according to this new report.

4. Political action is a Muslim's religious duty — the kind of action that advances the influence and political power of Muslims with the end goal of establishing Shari'a law everywhere. So Muslims vote as a unit. They use democracy to advance Islam however they can. This means the "Muslim vote" is important for a politician to gain and a dangerous thing to lose. So politicians are prone to give concessions to Islam's relentless encroachment in order to win this organized voting block. Islamic supremacists know this and use it to their advantage. They sometimes threaten violence, as happened recently in Britain. Even worse for a politician is the veiled threat (no pun intended) that they'll accuse a politician of racism and thus potentially damage her or his career. Some politicians are cowed by the threats, and others are sincerely fooled by the taqiyya and think they're doing the right thing.

5. Western economies are dependent on Middle Eastern oil. Political leaders and business leaders don't want to offend their "allies." So in public, they are less likely to speak straight about Islam, even if they know better.

6. By the judicious use of violent riots, many newspapers and book publishers and even governments have been intimidated by Islamic supremacists, and so avoid telling the truth about Islam. Each decision seems wise at the time, even though each is a small act of cowardice. And for the same reason, small concessions are given to placate the Muslims and avoid offending them. The concessions are accumulating, but it is an entirely one-sided negotiation — Islam never concedes. Islam is a ratchet: It only goes one way.

7. Most journalists and teachers have multicultural leanings and are sympathetic to anyone who is not Caucasian or Christian. This point of view stems from a sympathy with underprivileged people combined with a holdover reaction from the racist arrogance Europeans often displayed when encountering the rest of the world during Age of Exploration. Added to this is a distrust of anything Christian, which has its roots in the Enlightenment. Although the roots of the point of view are hundreds of years old, the pro-underdog, anti-white-man and anti-Judeo-Christian sentiment is still alive and well on campuses and in the media, and those teachers and journalists have exerted a strong influence on the minds of the population. So much so, many Europeans and Americans don't even know the West has a worthy culture that needs defending.

8. Islamic supremacists have established what appear to be "mainstream, moderate" Muslim organizations and have set themselves up as officially representative of the Muslim population. In the U.S., the media and government agencies consult with these organizations to find out what should be said to the public about Islam and what Islam really teaches, and most important, to find out what would offend Muslims. These Muslim organizations are almost all working toward the goal of Islamizing the free world, and their "counsel" to Western governments serves that goal with the liberal use of taqiyya.

9. People in the West, generally speaking, know almost nothing about Islam. This is the key to all of the above. Too few people know. And we are told Islam is pretty much like Judaism and Christianity, and many of us naturally want to believe it. It is almost unbearably alarming to discover the true nature of fundamental Islamic teachings, and a healthy mind recoils from the implications. We don't want it to be true. This ignorance is everywhere. Even among politicians who should really make it their business to know better.

All of these factors, and I'm sure there are more, combine together to produce what appears to be (but is not) a collaboration between Islamic supremacists and Western governments, deliberately conspiring together in an evil plot to destroy civilization.

But I assure you, the situation is not at all hopeless. A conspiracy of that kind would be nearly impossible to tackle, but the nine influencing factors above can each be impacted by citizen action.

Many things are already being done. There are powerful people in government positions who have looked beyond the propaganda they're getting from the "mainstream, moderate" Muslim organizations and are helping to wake up their fellow representatives. Geert Wilders is obviously one. In America, Jon Kyl, Tom Tancredo and Sue Myrick are among them. Myrick has started a group of U.S. members of Congress, hosting workshops led by experts on Islamic supremacism to bring the group up to date on what it's all about. The caucus has 120 members and is growing.

There are also many sources of information on Islamic supremacism, and those sources are continually increasing in number and reach online (see my blogroll for a small sampling) and even in the mainstream media.

In addition, several powerful new organizations like ACT for America and the United American Committee are organizing united political action at the grassroots level to put legislation into place to stop the Islamization of Western governments.

And there are millions of people around the world like you who have awakened and who are actively awakening others. This is a difficult task because lots of already-existing barriers prevent the information from entering peoples' minds easily. But I hear of success stories all the time. I hear about the neighbor who "gets it" for the first time. I hear about people who talk to a friend who is skeptical at first but decides to look into it and eventually comes to grip with the scope of the problem.

I hear from people like you quite a bit too — the newly awakened. And of course, I don't hear about hundreds or thousands more awakening every day around the world. Each one represents one less dhimmi and one more citizen warrior.

You are clearly distressed and worried, as well you should be. But there is much you can do. You can turn your discomfort into motivation and take the actions that will change the future for us all. The action will eliminate your feelings of hopelessness and helplessness and will go a long way toward relieving your distressing feelings. Respond with purpose.

"We Can't Go to War With 1.3 Billion Muslims!"

HERE IS another addition to our series, Answers to Objections. This objection is not usually spoken out loud, but it's a central fear lurking behind much of the resistance you get when you talk about Islam.

When you're talking to people, you want them to accept the simple fact that Islamic teachings are very straightforward, and they call for intolerance and violence toward non-Muslims and an unrelenting effort to make us all submit to Shari'a law.

They will put up every objection they can think of because they don't want to accept this premise.

If they articulated their fear, it would sound something like this: "For God's sake, that CAN'T be true, because it would mean we would have to go to war with 1.3 billion Muslims, and we can't do that!" Some people actually say it out loud.

Like many of the objections, this one is a great opportunity to insert a little more information into a brain that is likely almost entirely empty of any facts about Islam. Here are some possible responses you can give:

1. Luckily, we don't have to go to war with all of them. Most of the people who are now Muslims never chose to be so. Their ancestors were almost all forced to be Muslims. The whole country was conquered and Shari'a law was imposed. Shari'a puts pressure on everyone to be Muslim, and not just in name only. It is against the law to skip the five prayers a day or skip fasting during Ramadan or skip paying zakat (alms to the mosque). In other words, the practice of Islam is enforced by law, so after a few generations, it would be hard to think outside of being a Muslim, especially when the penalty for leaving the faith is death.

But what this means is that many of them would choose to live their lives without the constant domination of Islam if they had the option. So even if it came to war, we wouldn't have to go to war with 1.3 billion.

2. What would you go to war to do? I mean, why would you think a war would be necessary?

3. We don't need to go to war, we only need to change some of our own laws and some of our own foreign policies. And sometimes we wouldn't even have to change them, we would only need to start enforcing them. For example, it is against the law to try to overthrow the government or to even plot to do so. It is sedition. It's already against the law. And yet in three-fourths of the mosques in the U.S., jihad is being preached.

Jihad means "the struggle to make everyone on earth submit to Shari'a law." It is an essential element of Islam. It is a core tenet. This isn't some fringe teaching that nobody cares about. This is a central purpose of Islam. If we want the Muslims in our country to stop working to undermine and overthrow the government, we will have to make a distinction between the political aspects of Islam and the religious aspects of Islam, and we'll have to stop people from committing sedition. We do not need to go to war. We only need to educate enough non-Muslims so that no more politicians ignorant of Islam are voted into office. The one thing that needs to happen is education.

4. The problem is not with Muslims, so we don't have to go to war with them. The problem is not even with Islamic doctrine. Our problem is the abject ignorance of the majority of non-Muslims. Because of this ignorance, the West is conceding its freedoms. Let me give you an illustration to clarify what I mean:

On the comments on an article about sociopaths, most of the commenters are victims of sociopaths, and they tell their stories about what happened to them — they were conned out of their life savings or they were married to someone who abused their children or one of their parents deliberately drives them crazy, etc. But two of the people who comment are themselves sociopaths, and their comments illuminate an important principle.

The point of view of most of the victims is that they don't understand how sociopaths can be so mean or cruel or heartless. The point of view of the sociopaths is that they don't understand how normal people can be so naive as to trust everyone, so foolish as to never protect themselves from someone who has already proven to be dangerous, or so stupid as to sign over the deed to their house!

Same with non-Muslims dealing with Islam. Okay, so it is a Muslim's duty to strive for the political goal of establishing Shari'a law throughout the world by any means necessary. That's what they do. But we don't have to allow it! They are only making progress toward their goal because we let them. We trust them. We make treaties with them. We allow them to immigrate. We make assumptions about them (like they must be just like us, their religion must be similar to other religions we know of, etc.). We are conceding our freedoms. We are forgoing our own self-preservation. We are voluntarily giving away our ability to defend ourselves.

The problem is not with them, it's with us. We don't need to go to war. We need to stop being stupid, and that can't happen until more people know about Islam.

Most of the people commenting on that sociopath site said they were surprised to find out there was even such a thing as a sociopath. The phenomenon of "everyday sociopaths" is not very well known. People know about psychopathic serial killers, but most people don't know there is such a thing as people walking around in ordinary lives who have no empathy for others and cannot develop it, people whose only goal in life is to win and dominate, people who feel no pity or remorse and who have no emotional conflict when they are cruel.

Some people who tell their sad tales were married to a sociopath for years without ever realizing such a person could exist, so they were totally frustrated, anguished, and confused by their spouse's behavior, and of course, in their ignorance they made one stupid, self-defeating mistake after another.

The free world is doing the same thing with Islam's relentless, self-serving aggression — making one stupid, self-defeating mistake after another (read more about that here). The stupidity must stop. The only thing missing is enough people who have at least a passing familiarity with basic Islamic teachings.

Okay, that's four possible answers to the objection, "But we can't go to war with a billion Muslims!"

Muslim In Name Only

YESTERDAY I HEARD from a woman who said she was insulted that I criticized Islam. She said she was a Muslim and her parents were Muslims and the people in her community were Muslims and none of them were terrorists.

I told her I was criticizing Islamic doctrine, not Muslims.

She said she felt I was insulting her family and community.

I've heard these kinds of things before, of course. I've been writing about Islamic supremacism for seven years and I've heard from hundreds of Muslims who feel offended when Islam is criticized.

In this case, however, I used to work with her and I knew she had a reputation as a promiscuous woman and a heavy drinker.

I said, "Why are you taking this personally? You don't even practice Islam." And that was the end of that conversation. She never said another word about it.

Let's look at this a moment. She considers herself a Muslim, but she's a Muslim in name only. I know several people like this. They don't pray five times a day, they don't fast during Ramadan, they've never read the Qur'an, they have no plans to visit Mecca, they don't pay their alms. In what sense are they Muslims? In name only.

And yet, they staunchly defend Islam. They dutifully act offended when you try to tell non-Muslims about the most basic teachings of Islam if it sounds bad. These people need to be identified. They need to identify themselves. We are in a serious situation.

We all need a way to distinguish them from practicing Muslims. We need a name for them. Their existence (and defensiveness) is, in a very real sense, preventing the free world from defending itself. If they didn't exist, the solution to Islam's relentless encroachment would be sublimely simple: Close the mosques and deport all devout Muslims from the free world, and stop making concessions to Islamic countries. This could easily be done because if there were no "Muslims in name only," the only Muslims left would be those who are following Mohammad's example and waging continuous warfare on non-Muslims, seeking to overthrow the legitimate Western governments and instituting Shari'a law. It would be a no-brainer to cast them out or put them in jail. But because there are so many Muslims in name only (let's call them MINOs) it would be indecent and unfair to deport all people who identify themselves as Muslims.

MINOs defend Islam even though they don't practice its teachings. Why are they doing this?

It reminds me of a story about Paul Rokich. When he was a child growing up in Utah, he lived near a copper smelter that poured toxic waste out onto the land and killed every living thing for miles around. The land was black and barren and smelled bad. When a visitor once said, "This place is crummy," Paul felt insulted and knocked him down. Why? The place was crummy. Anybody could see that. But it was his place. It was where he lived. He was genuinely offended. He had identified with the place.

I believe that's what we're dealing with when MINOs defend Islam. But the pressure is going to continually increase for them because their presence and their "being offended" prevents non-Muslims from being able to protect themselves from the practicing Muslims.

I think a growing number of people who are working to stop Islam's relentless encroachment on the West are coming to the realization that MINOs should either criticize Islamic teachings or follow them, and the issue will become more pronounced as time goes on.

The vague, undeclared middle ground will become increasingly less tolerated. A Muslim living in a free country who is offended by criticism of Islam but neither practices nor criticizes Islamic teachings is either a liar or a coward. A liar because the criticism of Islam is legitimate. A knowledgeable, devout Muslim would not be offended by my saying, "Islam teaches that Muslims must wage jihad until the whole world submits to Islamic law." An Islamic supremacist may make a show of being offended because it furthers the goals of Islam, but privately he will simply be annoyed that a kafir found out about it.

And if he is a Muslim who does not practice Islamic teachings yet feels offended when someone criticizes those teachings, he is a coward. He should join with us and criticize those teachings. Obviously, he doesn't think much of them or he would be practicing them.

And beyond cowardice or lying is a much bigger issue. Whether they mean to or not, undeclared MINOs are aiding a deadly enemy of both non-practicing Muslims and non-Muslims: Islamic supremacists.

We should change our stance with regard to "moderate" or peaceful Muslims. If you hear from a Muslim who defends Islam, ask him: "Do you abstain from alcohol? Do you pray five times a day? Do you fast during Ramadan? Do you fight in the way of Allah so that one day the whole world will submit to Islam? Have you read the Qur'an?" Probably his answers will be no. You can then respond, "Then you don't follow the teachings I am criticizing, so why take offense? Why don't you stop the pretense and become an apostate?"

The very least a MINO could do is acknowledge the teachings — simply acknowledge that there are some passages in the Qur'an and the Hadith that should legitimately concern non-Muslims, and maybe even tell us how they justify ignoring those passages (and share their thinking with other Muslims).

Short of that, they are being cowards and are part of the problem. They should not be coddled by the West. We should not try to curry their favor. They should take sides or shut up. And that's what our stance toward them should be.
