BOONE COUNTY -- Boone County Deputies say a would-be robber is recovering in a hospital after being shot by the homeowner. The robbery and shooting happened at 9:45 p.m. Saturday at a home on the 14600 block of Proctor Road. While responding, deputies learned the homeowner had shot the intruder. DURANT, OK - A 17-year-old male suspect has been flown to a Plano hospital after he was shot in the back during a home invasion in Durant.
