JAMES Denne just can’t stop racing well at the moment!
The Honiton-based runner notched up his sixth win of the year with an emphatic victory in the Umborne Ug multi terrain rce on Saturday evening finishing almost a minute clear of Torbay’s Arran Tocknell with Axe Valley Runner’s junior Jake Smith another minute adrift.
It means Denne, who is without a club since resigning from Exeter Harriers, has now won the Wellingborough 15k, Exeter Riverside parkrun, Plympton Mad March Hare 10k, the Run Exe 5k and the Ottery St Mary 10k since the turn of the year.
On addition he has also set personal bests in both the Run Exe 5k (15:39) and the Ottery 10k (32:26).
I think we can describe that as a purple patch.
