It was an absolutely stunning location and the food and service throughout the day was just amazing – I don’t think I’ve seen a more appetising desert buffet in my life! Luckily the rain abated for the day too and it was just gorgeous all day. The ceremony under the tree was just beautiful and I sincerely wish you a very long and happy life together.

So hard to only pick out a few images for now, the whole day was amazing, here are just a few images as a sneak preview. I’ll get the slideshow to you both soon, but for now here are a few memories from the day:

Getting everyone to sit in one place and place some sort of attention my way was a challenge, but hey, that’s why they booked me, right!?    Had I known that my secret weapon was my little credit card polaroid camera, I would have used it earlier..  Once the older two saw how that worked (in particular, the older boy) he was happy to do anything I asked and was quietly working out how many weeks of pocket money it would take to get himself one!  Too cute.

Another happy family.  Super tanned from their sunny summer holiday together too – perfect!

We first met at a Connexions event whilst enjoying the well organised Wine Walk. Since then, we have talked shop, exchanged ideas and have enjoyed sharing our love of photography. One day I hope to have him share his dark room skills with me so I can develop myself the rolls of 120 film I’ve taken on my Hasselblad.

Irving knows photography and cameras inside out and back to front. Having moved from New York with his lovely wife, he is now teaching again here in Basel. Are any of you interested in a photography course? Lots of my clients ask me for such things and I can wholeheartedly recommend Irving. You don’t have to have a DSLR, just a camera that has manual settings (so no iphone cameras!). If you want to make the most of your camera this is a great place to start.

This was a very popular course in May so we are delighted that we can offer it again.
The course is aimed at anyone who would like to learn more about their digital camera and discover their own creativity by learning to see differently through a digital camera lens.
You will learn about the different functions on your camera, tips and techniques on how to take better photos and much more. Some of the sessions will be outdoors.
The course will be 4 consecutive evenings of 2 – 2.1/2 hrs. The start time will be 19.00 or 19.30. The total cost is Chf 175. Maximum 8 people.
The course dates will be Tuesdays Sept 7, 14, 21 & Oct 5. There will be an additional date which will be a make-up date for missed sessions.
A digital camera that has manual settings as well as automatic is required.
