Ko obÄutimo strto srce, je to za mnoge izmed nas eden najbolj boleÄih dogodkov v naÅ¡em Å¾ivljenju. NaÅ¡e srce je lahko strto zaradi veliko razliÄnih vzrokov, a boleÄina je za vse enaka. ObiÄajno se jo trudimo Äimbolj zmanjÅ¡ati, jo otopitiÂ inÂ takoj iti naprej ali pa se vdamo jezi in zanjo okrivimo druge. MoÅ¾na pa je tudi druga pot.

NaÅ¡e strto srce nam lahko pokaÅ¾e pot do odprtosti in radosti, lahko nas prebudi v nov svet povezanosti.Â

Nauki budizma in Å ambale vsebujejo metode, s katerimi se nauÄimo biti z boleÄinoÂ in jo sprejeti ter zaznati, kaj se skriva za obÄutkiÂ jeze, izdaje in Å¾alosti. Tisto, kar se skriva, sta brezpogojna neÅ¾nost in odprtost. Ko bivamo v prostoru strtega srca, vidimo svet drugaÄe, vidimo, da naÅ¡a boleÄina ni edinstvena in da je to dejansko to, kar nam lahko zaceli naÅ¡o najveÄjo rano - obÄutek da smo loÄeni. Izkusimo, da je naÅ¡e srce dosti veÄje kot smo si kadarkoli predstavljali, ter da lahko zaobjame tako radost kot boleÄino tega sveta. Lahko si dopustimo, da spet ljubimo in zaÅ¾ivimo polno, brez strahu in omejitev.

Na prvem predavanju si bomo pogledali teoretiÄne osnove tega pristopa, v naslednjem pa bodo predstavljene dejanske tehnike meditacije.Â

Predaval bo Robert Ivanc, mlad uÄitelj in meditacijski inÅ¡truktor v Å ambala tradiciji tibetanskega budizma. Robert je predsednik Slovenskega budistiÄnega druÅ¡tva Srednja pot, budizem Å¡tudira in prakticira budizem 14 let. Njegov uÄitelj je Sakyong Mipham RinpoÄe.Â

Predavanje bo potekalo v prostorih Vodnjaka Znanja na CelovÅ¡ki 61.
Vstopnina: 8 EUR, 6 EUR za Älane Å ambala skupine

Organizator programa je Å ambala meditacijska skupina Ljubljana, ki deluje v okviru mednarodne organizacije Shambhala International.Â�

Ubiquity and Najdi.si

Mozilla labs introduced a wickedly cool plugin for Firefox called Ubiquity. The video on that introduces it best, so go and have a look.

Since it’s insanely easy to extend, I’ve just added a Najdi.si web and map search commands to it:

They don’t support preview yet, or inserting into an email (I think :), but I’m working on it.

If you have Ubiquity installed it will ask you if you want to subscribe to commands on this page automatically (see information bar at the top of the page). Otherwise you can see the source here, it’s pretty simple:

going disco dancing

Went to SubSub club last night where it was supposed to be an Oldies Goldies disco night… I don’t know if I’m that old or what but it definitely wasn’t disco as I remember it… what we were dancing to seemed to be a pretty fierce house music. Excellent nonetheless!!

Today I am crawling around like a slug… My body can’t take too much of these kind of nights anymore!

playing with GPS

So, I have a new toy, a Bluetooth GPS receiver that works excellent with my Nokia E51. I got it off Ebay for 25 EUR, so it was cheap enough. So, for now I’m playing with it and trying different software.

Here’s what I have so far:

the excellent Nokia Sports Tracker - see my walk on Golovec today -this might even get me to excercise a bit more…;-) Hey, gotta use whatever works!
GPSed- you can track my current location here, or see my walk in Mostec
Magnalox seems pretty fun too - the only one that I’ve found that actually enables one to play back the track - so you can see how fast one went, where one stopped, etc… Check out the Mostec walk!
and a bunch of mapping software - Nokia maps 2.0, Google maps, najdi.si zemljevid,… Will try Garmin Mobile XT soon to see if it’s as good as they say. All the navigation software is payable though and quite expensive too, so I’m not sure if I’ll actually use it or not…

The web based stuff is kinda cool, but unfortunately nobody is offering a widget of sorts that I could put on my blog that could show the map with my tracks or current position… If i find some time maybe I’ll make something myself…
