Who knew Steppenwolf was from Canada. The core members formed The Sparrows in Toronto Ontario, Canada. Later changes included changing their name to Steppenwolf and moving the band to Los Angeles, USA. Lead vocalist John Kay was born in Germany moving to North America as a teenager.

Lead singer - Frankie Venom (real name Frank Kerr) R.I.P age 52 October 15, 2008.

Originally from Hamilton Ontario Canada, Teenage Head were often referred to as the "Canadian Ramones". I bought the Double Header CD awhile ago after wearing out my original tapes. I really recommend getting that if you think you might like this band. This is what my copy of Mama Let Him Play by Doucette looks like. I have the CD version with  the green border. Was it worth buying? I'd have to say yes. I was supposed to see Kim Mitchell one time. It was a multi artist event with the main act The Beach Boys. The Payola$ were from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. The Payola$ are Paul Hyde and Bob Rock.



I guess it was around 1982 when the song Eyes Of A Stranger off  the No Stranger To Danger Album caught my attention. Turns out there were more good songs on there like Romance.
