I can never get enough of Chrissie Hynde. The song Back On the Chain Gang brings back memories of the early 80′s and lots of good times. This was the time when Chrissie and her band The Pretenders were in their prime. Chrissie will be 61 in September and she still rocks – yes, she’s definitely iconic.

If you ever had any doubts about the ability of females to rock it out, this video is sure to convince you that, yes, chicks can rock! I had the pleasure of seeing Heart live in Vancouver way back in 1976 and it was a concert I’ll always remember. Heart quickly became my favorite classic rock band. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of seeing Jethro Tull live, not once but twice…a long time ago. I was mesmerized by the music. But Ian Anderson came off as a bit of an ego maniac, the second time I saw his band live. He told the audience to shut up, which I think was rather rude. These are your loyal fans, buddy, who filled the concert hall, paid a pretty penny to see you, buy your merch, and you tell them to shut up? Not cool, Ian, no matter how good you are.

Anyway, despite Ian Anderson’s arrogance back then, I still think his music is outstanding and I still listen to it. Enjoy the video!

I am a huge Eric Clapton fan and have always loved Phil Collins (though not as much as I love Peter Gabriel) but still, there can be no doubt of Mr. Collins’ drumming abilities. He’s probably one of the best drummers ever.
