Our latex pacifiers from BIBS, Frigg and Mininor give you as a parent options, all teats are the same but the sheilds give you slightly different ashetic variations.
All suppliers are committed to ensuring that the materials used are both safe, of high quality, and do not harm the environment.

All pacifiers we sell are certified to conform to the EU directive concerned with safety, health, and the environment. (Pacifier Safety requirements by European standard EN 1400+A2).

For our latex teats, 100% natural rubber latex is used. Natural rubber latex is a natural material made from the sticky milky fluid tapped from the Hevea tree. The fluid is refined to the brown/yellow rubber you know from your pacifiers; a super soft, elastic, and resilient material very much resembling the mother’s soft nipple.

All our natural rubber latex suppliers are a member of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR). As a member of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) our suppliers have implemented a High-level Commitment.

Frigg Pacifier Recall

The manufacturer FRIGG of Hinnerup, Denmark is voluntarily recalling the FRIGG SILICONE PACIERS due to experiencing a fault on a few silicone pacifiers where the nipple partly detaches from the pacifier shield.

There is a risk that the nipple will completely detach and thereby pose a possible danger to the child. This recall affects all SILICONE PACIFIERS, sold between the 1^{st of} April 20201 and 10^th December 2021.

This recall does not affect FRIGG LATEX PACIFIERS.

FRIGG Production ApS has a very strong focus on product safety and quality and have therefore stopped production and are currently reengineering the design before releasing the SILICONE FRIGG pacifiers again.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

If you have any SILICONE FRIGG pacifiers, please remove it from your child immediately, complete this form and we will be in touch with you.

1. As with any pair of shoes don't make the first wear a big day with lots of walking, sounds pretty basic but it's surprising how many of us forget common sense when it comes to wearing new shoes! Whether for ourselves or our children, any new shoes can give you blisters the first few times you wear them becuase they rub against new spots on your feet compared to old shoes. A quick few minutes around the house for a handful of times will break in the shoes.

2. Avoid wearing jelly shoes & bare feet on very hot days for long periods of time, sweat build up can cause friction between shoes & little feet, going for a long walk, especially in the heat when little feet are likely to sweat is basically asking for some serious chafing.

3. Good old petroleum jelly - a great way to reduce friction between little feet & shoes is by lubrication them so they slide rather than rub, apply a little bit of vaseline or petroleum jelly on the foot and rub evenly, make sure not to apply any to the sole of the foot to avoid little feet slipping out of the shoes.

4. Wear socks with the Jelly Shoes for the first and second wear. Yep! Socks & Jelly Shoes are a fashion statement in their own right!

Is my baby's pacifier safe?

Is my baby's dummy safe? This is an oft asked question by parents.

So how do you know if your baby's dummy is actually safe?

So here goes the technical side!

We have done extensive research on the subject of Safety Standards for baby dummies/soothers/pacifiers! And have worked with staff at MBIE and Standards New Zealand.

There are no specific mandatory requirements for dummies & pacifiers in NZ, but they must be safe. The obligation for safety is set out in the Fair Trading Act 1986, and rests with the product importer/supplier/wholesaler.

Although the MBIE recommend that suppliers look to voluntary standards where applicable/available as a way to ensure that their products are safe. New Zealand and or Australian standards are preferable as they take into account local considerations.

As there is no specific New Zealand safety standard, the Australian AS 2432:2015 standard and the European EN1400:2013+A1:2014 are both recommended as voluntary compliance.

We have undertaken extensive testing on our Classical Child Silicon Dummies by an accredited labotary, and our dummies exceed the standards required for AS 2432:2015 Standard for Babies Dummies and also EN 1400:2013+A1:2014. These are the Australian and European standards.

Composition of the food grade silicon material also has been comprehensively tested with the results being a safe, non-toxic pacifier that is free of BPA, PVC, Latex and Phthalates.

So you can be sure when purchasing our Classical Child Silicon Pacifiers that we have taken every step both mandatory & voluntary to ensure that our dummies are more than safe for your child. (Always follow usage instructions included with product)

And other than ensuring the dummies you purchase for your child are safe and meet these voluntary standards, you as a parent can also follow the below safety tips for dummies/pacifiers:

It is very important to check the dummy regularly to see if it's worn or degraded, as babies can choke on any loose bits.
Choose a dummy that complies with standards (as above)
Every time you give the dummy to your baby, pull firmly on the teat and tug the handle and ring to ensure they don't give way under pressure.
Check the teat for wear and tear. If it looks worn or damaged, throw the dummy away.

Sterlilse dummies or wash them in hot soapy water; then rinse and air dry.
Regularly buy new dummies as constant use and washing can make them weak.
Never attach dummies with a ribbon or cord as these could strangle your baby.
Watch children who can remove dummies themselves as they're more likely to try to place an entire dummy into their mouth, not just the teat.

Child-friendly activities for self isolating families

Cornflour Paint Activity

Suitable for ages from 1 year up to 12 years old

My mum used to make this for me and my siblings as a child, and we have many happy memories of hours of fun spent outside with cornflour paint, my own children still love this activity and often ask for it on sunny days!

What you need:
Cornflour or cornstarch
Cold Water
Food colouring
Paintbrushes or sponges etc

Mix equal parts cornflour & water & a few drops of food colouring, you can divide this in batches of different colours. You dont have to have your paint as bright as our images.

Use any old container as a paint bucket, or use muffin tins, or else if you have squeezy bottles spare, this can be a fun way to paint without brushes, possibly even use old sauce bottles etc.

Off you go outside with your paint and water! This will need to be remixed occassionally with your paintbrush as the cornflour can tend to settle.

Go crazy! Paint great artistic murals on the concrete outside, hopscotch, road for your bikes, paint your hand and feet to make prints, and much more, you are only limited by your imagination!

This can also be painted onto bricks and other washable surfaces (including childrens arms & legs if my kids are anything to go by!)

Best thing about this paint is it simply hoses off, or comes off with the rain, is safe if children put in their mouths.

This activity can be done in winter or summer, what's more fun & healthy that running around outside in your summer swimsuit playing! Once you have covered all your hard area get the children out with the hose to clean it off and start again! Or during winter, bundle them up in gumboots, coats, hats & don't forget the warm socks & tights, maybe hide the hose though, knows kids they will sniff water out from anywhere!
