Drinking milk everyday is healthy. But drinking 6 pints of milk a day??? You must be kidding! But this is the case for 9-year old Holly Lindley. She has Glycogen Storage Disease, a rare metabolic disorder that requires her to consume 6 pints of milk a day in order to live.

This 9-year-old girl has a serious metabolic disorder, and she's really milking it up.
Holly Lindley drinks 6 pints of milk -- each one mixed with 5 tablespoons of cornflour -- every day in order to stay alive, the Daily Mail reports.

The English girl suffers from glycogen storage disease, an inherited metabolic disorder. There are eleven known types of GSD, but in Lindley's case, the disorder prevents her from being able to use stored glucose as a form of energy, meaning that she must consume the simple sugar at frequent intervals.

'It would be easy if she drank fizzy drinks that are loaded with sugar," her mother, Karen Lindley, told the Daily Mail, "but she doesn't like them so milk it is. We get through so much in this house."
In addition to drinking the milk and cornstarch mixtures -- which her friend's call "Holly's special milk" -- throughout the day, the girl also regularly snacks on chocolate and other sweets.
"I'm sure she's the only girl at school that gets two chocolate bars in her lunch box," her mother said.
Holly Lindley isn't the only person with strange eating habits. Marla Lopez says she's gone over 50 years sustaining herself solely on white bread, potatoes and milk.

And last February, 21-year-old Kerry Trebilcock. who suffers from pica, revealed that she has eaten 4,000 sponges and over 100 bars of soap over the past few years.

This picture is worth a thousands words indeed. This photo of President Barack Obama and wife has just garnered itself 3.5 million "likes" thus making it the most LIKED Facebook photo.

It was a moving photo like countless others on Facebook, but the caption "four more years" said it all -- US President Barack Obama had won re-election, and was about to make social media history.

After a months-long, gruelling presidential campaign fought both off- and online, Obama sealed his tech-savvy reputation late Tuesday by announcing his victory over Republican foe Mitt Romney on Twitter and Facebook with the photo.

By early Wednesday, the shot of a smiling Obama holding his wife Michelle in a loving embrace had already broken records on both social networks -- bringing to a climax a hard-fought online campaign for supporters and votes.

"This Barack Obama photo is the most-liked Facebook photo of all time," the social network announced Wednesday, as it clocked up more than 3.5 million "likes".

When Milan Marinkovic's wife Milena died three years ago, she left a very personal request for him to fulfill: She wanted a stonemason to engrave a replica of her private parts on the tombstone.

Her intention for the rather public display of her privates was simple: She wanted to ensure that Marinkovic, a resident of Belgrade, Serbia, never looked at another woman, according to The Sun.

"I don't want you chasing other women. This way you will always remember me," she said in a letter explaining her bizarre last request, according to the Austrian Times.

Making the request was one thing. Fulfilling it was another.

Although Milena left detailed instructions, including photos, of her sex organ to ensure complete accuracy, her husband had a rocky time finding a stonecutter who would agree to the request. Most of those told Marinkovic the request was blasphemous, according to NewsFixNow.

Despite the struggle, Marinkovic recently found a mason who was willing to do the titillating tombstone engraving and the results are on display at the cemetery.

"Now it's finished I love it and it's a really good likeness," he told the Austrian Times. "And this way, a part of her will always be with me."

Crazy as it seems but true, a Brazilian girl - Catarina Migliorini, 20, just sold her virginity in an online auction for US$780,000.

Catarina Migliorini, 20, was the subject of 15 bids, with a Japanese man named only as Natsu winning on Wednesday night, according to the website of the film "Virgins Wanted".

He beat out competition from 14 other men, mostly from Brazil but also from India, Australia and the United States.

A male whose virginity was also auctioned, 21-year-old Sydney student Alex Stepanov, fetched US$3,000, paid by a Brazilian woman.

Australian media said Migliorini would be "delivered" to her buyer on board a plane to Australia and that she would be interviewed before and after losing her virginity at a secret location.

Filmmaker Jason Sisely, who began his project in 2009 and caused outrage when he put posters up in Sydney and Melbourne saying "Virgins Wanted", said Migliorini was ecstatic and had not expected as much such interest.

"The auction closed last night and Catarina is extremely excited. She was speaking to her family in Brazil online and they were extremely happy for her," he told Australian online news site Ninemsn.

"But I guess they didn't expect her to do something like this."
He said the act would be consummated, but not filmed, in the next few weeks.
"We will fly over the winner to Australia and obviously, for the sake of the film and privacy, we can't disclose where and when the act will take place," he said. "I have to leave some details for the documentary." full story here

Terri Graham, a mother of two, couldn't breastfeed her children. But, she's now fulfilling her maternal desire in an unorthodox way -- by breastfeeding her 9-year-old daughter's dog, a pug named Spider.

In an interview published in the Oct. 20 U.K. edition of Closer magazine, Graham, 44, said that she knows some people might consider her a "freak," but insisted that her breastfeeding nourishes the dog, and makes her feel like a better mom.

"Having Spider suckle on my boob means I finally feel complete and a better mother," Graham told Closer.

Graham, who is from California, claimed that the dog developed a taste for breast milk in 2010 after licking the nipple of a bottle she had pumped for her then-newborn son. She says she has breastfed the dog for about 2 years.

A photo of the article about Graham was posted to a Reddit forum devoted to strange and outrageous news, where it quickly received more than 2,000 "upvotes" and rose to the site's front page.

Although the comments were riddled with jokes, one user pointed out that a British woman had reportedly breastfed her dog in 2010.

A psychologist interviewed for the magazine piece suggested that Graham seek therapy, but stranger incidents involving canines have occurred in the British Isles.

In July 2011, a man was charged in Ireland for violating that country's bestiality laws after a woman died from an allergic reaction following sex with his German shepherd.

David Siegel, the founder and CEO of giant timeshare company Westgate resorts is just one of those manipulative bosses who want to insist his political views to his employees. If Obama wins, he said that he will have to reduce the size of his company. I think this real estate mogul is serious about this.

Based on previously reported findings among Scandinavian populations, US researchers from Harvard University carried out a meta-analysis examining the profiles of about 120,180 men and women aged 40 and older who provided information on their caffeinated beverage intake.

Responses were compared against their medical records to determine the cases of exfoliation glaucoma, which contributes to elevated pressure and can lead to damage of the optic nerve.

Exfoliation glaucoma occurs when a whitish material builds up on the lens of the eye and, as its name implies, exfoliates or rubs off the color of the iris, blocking fluids from leaving the eye.

Results showed that compared to non-caffeinated coffee drinkers, participants who drank three or more cups a day were at an increased risk of developing the eye disease. Interestingly, scientists say they found no associations with the consumption of other caffeinated beverages such as soda, tea, chocolate or decaffeinated coffee.

Because of China's One-Child Policy, a Chinese woman who is 7-months on the way was forced to abort her baby. This law is ridiculous!

Feng Jianmei, 23, was beaten by officials and forced to abort the baby at seven months on June 2 because her family could not afford a 40,000 yuan ($6,300) fine for having a second child, Chinese media reported this week.

Photos of Feng lying on a hospital bed with the blood-covered baby, reportedly stillborn after a chemical injection killed it, were posted online and went viral, prompting a public outpouring of sympathy and outrage.

Later on, after the images were scattered in the social networking sites and have gotten mass public outrage, the Chinese govt suspended 3 officials (two top local family planning officials and the head of the township government) and sent their apologies to the couple. (wtf! this will not bring back the life of that unborn innocent child)

That lady is already 7-months pregnant! I mean do these authorities just enforce the LAW? Why don't just they let her go? Heartless law enforcers!

Mysterious Phoenix Lights

While reporting, Andrea Robinson of Phoenix Fox news was accompanied in the background by a white bright light which seem like an explosion or something. That's not basically eerie and they thought it was just a transformer that had exploded. But what is odd is when they verified local utility, they were told that no transformer exploded. So, what was that? Watch....

The strange blast was caught on tape and aired live during Robinson's report. At first, news station employees thought the explosion was a transformer. But when FOX 10 checked with local utility providers APS and Salt River Project, they were told no transformers had blown in the area.

While the source of the explosion remains a mystery, it comes just before the 15th anniversary of one of the most-famous UFO sightings in recent history. On March 13, 1997, a cluster of glowing orbs moving in a V-shaped formation was spotted in the skies above Phoenix. That incident was also caught on film. The origin of the light formation has since been endlessly analyzed and debated.

900-Year Old Saint Heart's Stolen!

Dublin, Ireland -- Police in Ireland are studying security camera footage from a cathedral in Dublin after the preserved heart of the city's patron saint was stolen over the weekend, they said Monday.

The 900-year-old heart of St. Laurence O'Toole was taken from the iron cage where it is normally kept in Christ Church Cathedral, police and the Cathedral said.

The bars were wrenched open, allowing access to the heart-shaped wooden box that held the relic bolted to a wall in Saint Lauds Chapel, Irish police said.

May-December love affair isn't a big deal at all. I saw many couples happy even with their huge age gaps.

But, in this case with a 41 year old teacher and family man, who is romantically attached to his 18 year old student, that's something off for me. This teacher even left his family - a wife and 3 kids, to live with his new student love. Worse thing is, his new love is his daughter's classmate. =(

Last year, Jordan Powers was just another student from Mr. Hooker's class. Now she's his live-in girlfriend.
