Yes friends, the image above speaks the truth: I’m making comics again. However, there are a few changes.

First, all of my new comics are now at patreon.com/danieljhogan. They will all be free to read, but patrons get early access to new comics and other rewards. They are also posted to my Instagram and Facebook page.

TIP: You can create a free Patreon account and just “follow” my page to see all of my free, public updates. You can get updates right to your email, or get a notification through the Patreon app.

Second, I’m not continuing Foxes & Boxes. These new comics are me getting back to my gag comic days. My goal is to have fun and play around, so I don’t have a set schedule. However, I aim for one comic a week if possible, and there isn’t a set day for when I post a new comic. I’ll return to Foxes & Boxes at some point, but it would be a fresh start.

Some of these new comics are more autobiographical too, but not all of them.

Hi friends.

Some big news: I’m taking a break from making comics for this site for a bit, and Foxes & Boxes is on hiatus for awhile. I’ll get back to them eventually, as I do want to finish the story. However, I’m just not enjoying the “webcomic grind” as of late. I honestly haven’t finished a new Foxes & Boxes page in over a year.

This could mean I focus on books instead of throwing pages up on the Internet. This could also mean a soft-reboot or something (as in, starting over with books in mind instead of the on-going webcomic approach).

Don’t take this to mean I’m not making art or comics at all. Far from it. I’m shifting my focus for now to the original art I’m making for art festivals and galleries. This includes my Three Panels series, which are my merging of comic strips and fine art.
