The prototype vehicle, called Project P.U.M.A. (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility), is based on the Segway Personal Transporter but it seats two people sitting down.

P.U.M.A runs on lithium-ion batteries and go up to 35 miles per hour and have a range of 35 miles between charges.

It includes some high-tech touches, including GM\’s wireless OnStar communications technology that could let a passenger locate other drivers in a city.

The two-wheeler is meant to address the mounting problems of urban car transportation, according to the companies which will unveil the vehicle at an auto show in New York.

* A green roof with a 12 cm (4.7 inches) substrate layer can reduce sound by 40 decibels; a 20 cm (7.9 inches) substrate layer can reduce sound by 46-50 decibels.\”

So the casting of the net (trend) is very small right now, but the footprint may end up being very large. Think hotels, commercial buildings, schools (Especially), and private homes. The benefits are large. I think one of the most important items here is attracting pollinators. Without them we can\’t grow our foods and recently articles like this explain the problem.

Whichever President wins the election next week, they have both placed greening America one of the top priorities. This trend will extend for the next 4 years and beyond.

This was a huge buying opportunity in these solar stocks that we just went through. I hope you got at least one of them.

We know that the solar trend is here to stay because its not a competing fuel with petroleum so lower petrol prices don\’t affect its growth.

One of the biggest obstacles to solar is the initial cost. The recent bailout bill had a major earmark for potential solar customers. The drawback is that the waning economy is going to cause middle class buyers to not purchase solar systems. However, wealthier individuals are now more likely to buy a setup.

So with that said, lets look at the solar stocks that are rated cheap on a fundamental valuation basis.

All of these solar stocks have PE\’s under 10 except for CY, but its PE is 10.5.
JASO, TSL, SOLF, SOL, LDK, CY (technically a semi co. with a large stake in SPWR), CSIQ, YGE, SOLR, CSUN, STP, and ESLR.

So if the same growth prospects are still on the table for solar companies, then these stocks are cheap.

Now after this second huge drop in the market, I want to take a look at my scans….

The only two stocks that look like they could make a move here higher are:

FTEK and CREE.
