Turquoise - How to Use

2013-10-15T19:11:00.001-07:00

I'm thinking of decorating my new apartment turquoise, green and some red accents.

Today brought more tips and pictures about a lovely color, turquoise blue, that blue is pretty strong you know? The turquoise make a clean environment and should be applied more in details. Is a youthful color that transmits sensation of freshness, serenity, calm and tranquility. In small or large details the turquoise is a great color for contrasts with a beige, brown, wood, ash, black, white or colored, what matters is to create a harmony. Combination of wood and turquoise give for the ambient one style contemporary. The walls should be neutral or clear just one in turquoise!

Do not know about you but is one of the colors that I like !!!

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE

2013-07-17T21:30:00.000-07:00

Scattered along the white background, touches of colors like pink red blue and turquoise, the natural light from large windows made me stay in love with the place. Sometimes women yes, but still a beautiful place to live if. Elegant and charming, these spaces I find a place of dreams.

Style Folk

2013-06-05T16:00:00.000-07:00

A trend been doing the greatest success in interior decoration: the folk. Thanks to this style, comes a new décor in an environment marked by different elements and at the same time offers a visual effect irreverent. Among prints, hues and cultures, folk style offers a mix of style that offers a modern setting. The suggestion is to bet on decorative accessories from different cultures with different patterns and contrasting colors. This type of décor goes well in any environment. For example in the room, blankets, pillows and rugs bring different prints. On the wall paintings and wall stickers butterflies increment décor folk. With this style is allowed to abuse at will. Time to decorate worth using creativity, because there is no rule. However one should be cautious not to let the decor polluted. Spring brings the best of us: more zest for life, out and, in general, find joy in the small things or insignificant. Approaching the time of the change of season, be prepared to give a touch of light and color to your home with cool styles and summer to follow the proper timing and intensity of light coming through the window. The best styles for this season and especially this 2013's style folk decoration trend, this romantic style that combines traditional details and inspirations slightly different times and cultures. The decor is reminiscent Folk clear of traditional decor with r natural plants, rustic furniture (but very chic) and floral fabrics, leather and fringe. Actually, cushions, curtains and bedding are among the stars of this decoration thanks to its fancy color prints. While the walls have a bright style relaxing and pastels and neutral paint through the rest of the decor is a veritable explosion of color and style Finally, you must give a charming touch to the decor with furniture and ornaments, such as rugs, dresser, and a little spontaneous combination of elements of different materials and designs (lamps, vases, chests, tin boxes, etc..).

Style Kistch

2013-06-05T15:02:00.000-07:00

This expression of German is used by those who wish to refer to an artistic appreciation or lower objects notably below the quality. It also refers to the habit of recycling furnishings, whether modern or older. The word derives from the German word 'kitschen', which has the effect of hindering, and 'verkitschen' fraudulent conduct a business, or replace the goods acquired by another unwanted object, which reveals that the ordinary meaning of the word 'Kitsch' brings itself. Its initial use was made in the field of decoration, as a refusal utensil true, then kitsch eventually became the new culture of corruption of forms of expression and crystallized by conventional cultural system in force. All this style recalls the intensity of emotions that come out of the pages of the books produced during Romanticism, which results in literary melodrama and works of popular slant. No wonder that the Kitsch arises precisely this romantic context, and extends posteriorly by other artistic spheres. The main features of this style are the large-scale breeding, for example, the saints distributed with the intention of disseminating prayers and novenas, and replicas of famous paintings, the character of the works and a fake random nature that mixes various expressions at the same time. Kitsch is often seen in art imagery, literary production, in music, in the design field, the various objects of day-to-day, as the famous souvenirs acquired on tours and utensils devotional, the tombs located in the vicinity urban centers, on the external sides of the evangelical churches, in nightclubs, motels, houses emerging social and other venues. There is a style to one or another sector of society, because it is present both among the poor and among the higher social status. He is deeply related to mass production characteristic of the postmodern world, driven by a runaway consumerism, which generated a paltry art. Theodor Adorno, Hermann Broch, and Clement Greenberg were theorists who contributed most to disseminate the concept of kitsch, in contrast to the works of modern and avant-garde. Adorno relates to the artificial consciousness; Broch inserts in the opposite pole of the inventive production, meanwhile, Greenberg understands how the art of the replicas, feelings and simulated dependence of academic standards. The kitsch style tears all the lines that separate the beautiful from the ugly, the good the bad taste, and convinces the individual uninitiated in the intricacies of art, to find this form of expression, he was faced with the highest cultural production. The elements that compose it are always theatrical, sensual, emotional and excessive.

I'll talk about gray decoration. If a few years ago, this color was synonymous with boredom, sadness and even distasteful, today it is fashionable in decoration, because it is easy to combine and chic, like most neutral colors. enovar-tu-salon-con-telas-refrescantes.jpg" imageanchor="1" > I personally, as a person who loves color, I have a bit of resistance to gray, but I'm crazy about this color a sofa. If you like gray, playing, because as it is fashionable, it is easy to find on the market options and furniture and accessories. I am in favor of using the gray with other colors, like yellow, pink or purple, but if you like everything gray, also gives, knowing use tone on tone to not be too heavy, you can have a chic and environment modern, want to see?

From walkways to your home: in decoration orange

2012-02-01T05:43:00.000-08:00

After reigning the fashion runways, the orange is the main focus in interior decoration.

- There are many fashion trends that come and invade your interior. This year, the 1st tendency to migrate from the catwalks is the orange color as seen in the international fashion weeks and the big bet on the interior decoration of the season.

- Considered a warm color, happy and strong, can be very well used in offices, it has a tendency to stimulate ideas and is very consistent with the kitchen, because it stimulates the appetite.

- To add color to your home without having to change everything, the most practical option is to put it in the details and accessories. The tone can be used to paint the wall, pillows, tapestries, chandeliers, in a cover for the sofa, or even strategic pieces of furniture such as couches and chairs.

- Remember that it is not necessary, and until recently indicated that all the furniture are the same color. The color variation is what makes things interesting.

- It is also important to care too much, since the excess of orange can be tiring or leave the stressful environment. Small changes can transform any room, taking advantage of new trends and ideas for the new season, without necessarily changing the whole environment. Small details make all the difference.

Laura Ashley

2012-01-08T20:17:00.000-08:00

Catalog Laura Ashley last: the pattern matching wallpaper and curtains. Cushion in the same tones.

I have won a fall winter catalog the Laura Ashley and I will talk a little about the trends I saw.
Got the point, the prints are the hit at the decoration in beginning 2012.
They appear on everything from floors to walls, furniture, objects and adornments and reaching the ceiling!
I have written some posts about it and what they it is becoming easier to understand is that "being printed is a fashion statement." It is always a danger statements to "The End" because nothing is certain in this life or permanent, especially when it comes to a fruitful field as the design. What a luxury today can be tomorrow's trash will be inevitably delayed and there's always someone (or exaggerated) that comes in a wave without thinking and end badly.

Yellow with gray at various points: Stripes curtains, the wallpaper, the fabric of the chair. All very delicate.

That is, to look good, according to "own" Laura, can we use printed on the wall and the curtains, but if the prints are similar or the same type. You can use different prints on the couch and the wall, but only if the wall is very smooth and unobtrusive.
In short caution and look very keen to see what goes with what, without exaggeration.

It is also worth to mention the colors: turquoise and red that

are in high, but nothing radical.
It has beautiful things in yellow with gray, in shades of plum,
green, lilac and much more.
I actually really enjoy the turquoise but have another
variations very close in blue and greens both very beautiful
on the walls, curtains, sofas and armchairs, even plain color.

The trend is confirmed: much knitting accessories.

Crafts on the rise. Although they are given a thousand barbarous cushions in various fabric, the highlight was the same cushions in for knitting.
Each one more beautiful than the other, with different plots, braids, buttons, everything to make them even more unique.

Any space can fulfill your fantasy, so don't feel confined by home's layout or architecture. The shapes of your windows, doorways, the existing floor coverings, or other features may inspire you to establish a new interior design. But if they don't match your new look don't be despaired. You can completely transform any space with color, drapery, mirrors, murals, accents, and other tools.Once you've choosen a theme, select a palette to match. Evaluate potential wall and window treatments, making a list for your trips to the hardware and fabric stores. Then evaluate your furnishings and determine what you need to buy either as additions or replacements. Then next it's off to the flea markets and antique stores where further inspiration awaits!

Indecision
"Everyone has the right to doubt his work, and leaving it from time to time, the only thing we can do is forget it. Who does not doubt yourself, is unworthy - because it relies heavily on its capacity, and sin of pride. Blessed is everyone who goes through moments of indecision. "
