I spent most of Friday with one of my homeless friends at
the Courthouse. I was there for moral
support which is sometimes hard to provide. I took the opportunity to lay out the plan of
salvation in at least ten different ways and witnessed with my testimony and
used everything I can remember to try to make a difference in their lives.

One of the things I have faced while trying to witness to
the folks that I talk too is this:

So many of them have been told one thing and lived
another. They are told by their grandparents
(if they are lucky enough to have any) That God is good and will take care of
them.

Then they are raped, beaten and generally treated like trash
from their natural parents

Or they are left behind while their parents are in prison,
jail, or just decide to move to a warmer climate.

I can say this with no reservation. I do not know one girl
on the street that has not been molested by their father, brother or some
family member. You can almost count on
the stepfathers. They seem to look upon the stepdaughter as part of the deal
This may sound bold on my part but I tell you I have heard the tear filled
stories.. I have seen the terror in the eyes of these
girls at three am when they are ejected from a car in Porterville. I have heard the stories of
being given to a 60 year old single biker guy when mom goes to jail.

I have also seen the joy and happiness when they actually
feel the love of God. If you don’t know
the truth about God it will be worth your while to find out.

God Bless

It has been doing so since I joined the Church several years ago. I think God has a job for us and now we may be up to it.... Praise His Holy Name.

We are still helping the homeless with love and honoring Gods wishes in that we do not judge," for by the grace of God there go I"... In our present economy it has become more difficult to make ends meet and there are more and more unfortunates on the street. We do still distribute 80 sack lunches every Wednesday. Our church provides the money I pick up the fixens and drop them off at the Warehouse Church on Santa Fe. Then at 11:00 am they are majestically done and I pick them up and distribute from the west end of town to the east and the north and south. Wow thats all over town. I never have enough for everyone and sometimes its hurts to see the empty basket and a line of people who do not receive. We started making ten lunches four years ago and now 80 is not enough.

Pastor Rob and the Youth of our church had a drive to make emergency type bags for the homeless. Including snacks, sox, water and misc stuff which was most appreciated. I took those out a couple of Saturdays ago and all was gone in about an hour. They had also collected about fifty or so blankets which went like hotcakes. It was raining and cold much in contrast to last Saturday which was summer weather. One thing about weather in California. You just have to wait a little while and you can experience any kind of weather you like. I remember many years ago a trip to Disney Land in July I was standing on the corner of walk and dont walk in Anaheim when it began to snow......

The most awesome worship I have had in many years came on Sunday afternoon. My precious Savior Jesus Christ has blessed me with beautiful Motorcycle. I have prayed many years about it because of my health, lack of mental capacity and manual dexterity I was not sure. He made it possible even easy so I went for it. Sunday afternoon found me on my way up 198 heading for Three Rivers. It has been over twenty years since I rode and rusty is a word for it.
Flying up the beautiful freeway to the Park entrance with the wind in my face, watching the Red tail Hawks floating above me, heading for the beautiful white peaks just ahead of me I was in Gods most beautiful cathedral . The ice cold river flowing of to the left, the big boulders of Slick Rock whizzing by. Anyone who says there is no God is a fool...

We rode up to the entrance to the Sequoias rested for a moment and then rode back down to Three Rivers where we stopped to visit with some of our gracious church family. Then back down to the valley which took on the look of a field of roses after such a Sunday worship. I rode home and collapsed into my big chair and fell asleep. My God is ( there are no words)
How much Heaven will be better. I cant stand it.

May God bless and keep you

I think they were lying, cheatin, robbing one another, raping, pillaging, killing, murdering baby's rather than take care of them. Creating war, worshiping Buddha, Baal, and Ala. Wait a minute that sounds like the morning paper.

In the writings of Flavious Josephus Chapter three part of the answer from God to Noah when Noah prays to God hoping He would not destroy the earth every year God says " But the Injuries they offered to My Holiness and Virtue forced me to bring this punishment upon them...

Everyone knows there was a flood, no one disputes it. Everyone knows in their heart why there was a flood.

God said He would never
destroy the earth with a flood again. I really hope people don't think that is the only way He can obliterate this mess.

If God was injured at that time what do you think He is feeling now ?

Good Luck
I say. (all proud of myself) No!, came his reply. Somewhat stunned I realized the problem. Praying that God would forgive my pride I drive on.
Swinging into a grocery store parking lot. Wayne and his crew sitting on a stone retaining wall huddled up with some badly needed beverage in his hand sat looking so sad. I sayz Wayne how would you like some hot coffee, rolls and a small Christmas present. Huh ? You gotta be kiddin he says. God loves you Wayne and so do we.

Christmas Eve the old fat guy, oh I mean me not Santa Claus
went out early in the morning in my little “redwagin” My pickup loaded with
gallons of hot coffee and dozens and dozens of breakfast rolls, tens of
Christmas gifts to take to the homeless girls and boys.

Sounds a little flippant huh?

It was so wonderfully wonderful and so grievously sad at the
same time flippant is about all I can work up. God so unquestionably blessed me
but it is depressing to give so little to so many who need so much. The adult Sunday school class as has done
every year since I came to Sierra Baptist made many Christmas gifts for the
Homeless Ministry. I appreciate and bless them because of their love I was able
to give gloves, hats, a coat or two away to people who did not have any. Thank
you and thank you adult Sunday school class you’re always in my heart for what
you do

It seems every year distribution of these gifts is
accomplished in a different manor. One
year we gave them out at church because we had several in attendance. One year I took them and gave them out as I
came in contact on the street. This year maybe because I have gotten my life kind
of back together, I woke up in the middle of the night it was freezing cold in
my house, I got back in bed and pulled the cover over me and had a thought of
my homeless out in the weather. It has
been cold here in Californie for almost a month. We don’t have bitter cold like the East. Our cold is a wet cold, kind of like dry
heat. When you are exposed to our winter
it seems to go to the core of your body. Watching
the temperature it has been hovering at 34 degrees. My little old brain
(prompted I am sure) said hey why not take hot coffee and rolls to the guys in
the morning. So God starts to work ( I
think its me ) I get the rolls, get out the five gallon container talk to
McDonalds who said that make the coffee for me for a fee. I get up at six on Sunday morning zip down to
Micky ds and it is not ready yet. So I
am talking to this guy just to pass the time.
When the gal says it is ready I get out my debit card and she says I got
to have cash. Well I don’t carry
cash. If I have cash I give it
away. There are so many people that
truly have needs I help them and my cash disappears. So I said I will bring it back later. All of a sudden here is this guy standing
beside me with a wallet full of money says can I pay for it? Regaining my composure I say sure and God
bless you.

This story is too long for a blog so I will do it in two
chapters or maybe threeeeeeee who knows.
Like my accounting teacher told me Ronn, if there is nothing to say you
will say it.

God Bless You

I managed to overexert the old body that I
have punished for the last fifty years last week. Sunday night after our
Lottie Moon auction at church I got home was walking down the hall my foot
caught on the corner of a briefcase sticking out a little and took the worst
fall I have ever taken. That wouldn't mean much if it were not
for the fact I take a fall about once a week. I normally can catch myself or
role with it, but I was so tired I went down. Well now I can say the
simple words. I have been sitting in my chair day and night since that time. Only
getting up for essential needs. So I have been watching the world through my
window.

Where
I live is much like a graveyard. There are old folks and poor old folks
everywhere. Not much going on. So I started looking through the
window of my mind. Realizing that most of the time I am rushing to get
this done or to get to this place or to find this thing. Find this thing is
what I do most. It is amazing how many things can just move by themselves.
So looking at the things around me the people around me and all that stuff.
You know things are not as bad as I usually write about. Life is really
just a proving ground before we make our final journey. Our wonderful God
has given us time to prove to Him that we Honor, Love and Worship Him. Once
you have done that the rest of anything that happens to you will
be orchestrated by God. If you get yourself in a fix you can
call on him. I don't mean to say that He is a cosmic superman.
That kind if idea lowers the all knowing all seeing God down to our
level.

I
am about to get deeper than I can dig out. It suffices to say My God Loves Me
and He loves you too. You just have to accept it.

Can you even consider doing that today. This place has turned to evil. I remember seeing this kind of things happen in the poor country's of the world and I would think, man what would it be like to live somewhere that you would have to make sure every little thing was locked or at the very least hidden so that it wouldn't not be stolen.

My homeless face an even worse condition. You would think that being on the street people would honor each other because of being in the same boat. Not so. When one of my guys gets in the bus and leaves something around his "camp" it would be gone before we got back from church. If one is sick and has gone to sleep to try to get some rest someone will sneak off with his shopping cart. If you think that's low listen to this. One of my guys was confined to a wheel chair. One day he was behind the Kragen store and three young gangster types knock him out of his wheelchair beat and robbed him of everything he had.

I tell you people if Jesus does not come soon things are going to really get unbearable. You know from what I understand of the last days The Holy Spirit is the only one confining evil to what it is know. Somewhere near the end Jesus is going to take The Holy Spirit out of this world. Can you imagine what its going to be like then... God help us all. I read from the Word that the Christians will be rapture from the world before this happens... Praise GOD

HANG ON, HANG IN AND HANG WITH JESUS [no pun intended]

God bless you during the Christmas holidays
Woodlake used to be in Woodlake. Now Brovo Lake is in Woodlake. Little of the trail... Pun intended. In my younger days I used to spend some time in Woodlake but its been years so I got out the old GPS, plugged in the address and took off. I had at least an hour to kill before the appointed time so I stopped off for dinner and just meandered around. I got back on the trail and the GPS was counting of the trip. She says tun left in two tousand peet. It does not speak very good English. Well in two tousand peet there was no turn of. She says make a u tun bong. There is a little bell when you reach the point to turn. So I u tun. Turn right two tousand peet. No turn off. Make u tun she says. U tun I make. This time I drive along the shoulder of the road to see better. Sure nuff there was a type of road. Off down a dirt road I drive. I assume then that there was work being done on the road. The little machine has this picture of the road I am supposed to be on and the arrow representing my truck right in the middle of it. I see fences, cows, horses, trees, grape vines and dirt. Religiously following the little machine. Two mile tun left she says. Dirt is all I see. Going down this dirt road about thirty miles an hour in the dark. Huh. Nobody ever said I was a rocket scientist. Suddenly I start hearing the sound of water. Not being completely stupid I slow down. Canal no bridge screech the brakes go I turn lept and go along the canal thinking there may be a bridge. Bong make a u tun she screams. So I went back the way I came, the light finally came on in my head. Bong make a u tun she says about every quarter mile. Thinking I wanted to avoid that again. I take off and drive about three miles down the road. By this time I have silenced the sound. I turn it back on to hear her say two and halp mile tun lept. Obediently I tun lept onto and almost paved road. Two mile tun right I hear so you guessed it I turned right. Dirt flying in the air I pass hot houses, cows, horses, chickens, and fences. Flying down this dirt road following my precious machine I come to a fork in the dirt. No fork on the screen so I choose one. Wrong one and I run upon a brush pile. Backing downn this dirt road in the dark listening to bong u off trak, bong you off track. Get back to fork, take the other fork I hear in my ear tun left two hunred peet. Alright I think now Im getting somewhere. Beginning to relax a little when up pops a locked gate I hear in my ear one hunred peet tun lept. I sit there for a minute thinking one hundred feet beyond this locked gate there is a paved road. Backing down this dirt road at night in the middle of no where listening to bong make a u tun. I tun it op. Managed to find my way back outa there and come to a paved road again. This time I go all the way into Woodlake and ask directions.

God Bless the Global Positioning Stuff

Thanks for listening

Twenty lunches per box. I was pretty proud of myself, you see I started with ten and I thought I was doing great wonders. There was enough to help the guys on my block. Then God says "is that all there is".... Well of course you know the answer to that. So we began to increase to forty then fifty then sixty. At this point I felt that all was well. When I began this ministry I was the bank and increasing to the numbers that were needed began to strain the bank to say the least. Then God brought Sierra Baptist Church into my life. The answer to a prayer and an answer to by need. Not only financially but spiritually. If you love the Lord and want to hear His Word come and listen to Pastor Mark Wilson by far the most Godly man I have ever met. Back to my story. On a couple of occasions I had to go to the transit center and just look for sad people to give them too. I would give them lunch, invite them to church and tell them about how wonderful my Jesus is.Then the new financial mess started. I began to see entire family's out on the street. Lost their house and with it almost everything else. Sleep in the car till it is stolen back by the bank. Live with a friend till the fighting begins. Then out on the street living in bushes and vacant lots.

Like I said eighty lunches and there are many sad faces left standing in line with nothing. I walk a thin line every week between helping and enabling. I pray to the Living God every time I leave that the ones who need get what we have but I know there are many who actually choose to be free on the street so they have no restrictions..... NObody gonna tell me what to do. You know the type. Even so hooked on meth, alcohol and whatever else the evil one invents to em-pail man on the iron fence of life they are still hungry. They still need God. So helping or enabling I guess I will just leave it in Gods Hands. They are big enough to keep it straight.
It was awesome.

I am not one to mention names but the Evaro Brothers work hard every year to make this successful this year they and the what must have been over half the church members got together and put it on the top shelf as my old pappy would say.

Thank you from the bottom of my Heart and the souls of my feet.......
Well after many years of taking lunches to the homeless, I want you to know it is never boring. One time you go and half your people are in jail. The next time they are out and have brought ten friends the next time one has a broken arm and another a broken leg another a big hole in his head from an accident. I remember not too long ago one of my guys got hit from behind he was on a bike with a trailer of recyclables and a car came up at they say at least fifty miles an hour. Any way he was killed. One of my ladies got hit crossing a road and stayed in a coma for at least two months. I have noticed although it is always different but it is seldom better. Help me pray for these guys. God loves them just like He loves us. We are no better no worse than the vilest man or woman that walks the face of this earth. We are ALL sinners saved by grace.

Next Saturday night something good is happening though. Sierra Baptist Church is putting on a dinner for the homeless and those less fortunate. I hope every homeless person in town shows up

God Bless U All

The reason for the Thanksgiving was to thank the Living God for the prosperity which had been found in the new country. The reason that the pilgrims left England was so that they may worship God in freedom.

THE WHOLE REASON FOR THANKSGIVING IS TO GIVE THANKS TO THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

ITS ALLLLLLLLLLLL ABOUT GOD.
We are so easily fooled. The fallen angel makes it all about comfort for ourselves. It is so easy to think of yourself before God.. How can we be so selfish. Don't know about you but this Thanksgiving I am going to be giving thanks to the almighty....

God bless you even more than He has already done.
We shared our testimony for a moment and he reached into a case he had with him and handed me a stack of papers. I don't know how many but they were poems, thoughts, and things that weighed on his mind. I will be sharing them with you over the next few months. Enjoy! and God Bless
Well as it turns out he also had several staples under the stitches. Staples are a little harder to remove without a staple remover. So now for the real part of the story. Since the task of removing the staples without a staple remover is quite a bit more arduous and painful I would work a little and let him rest a little. It was during one of these rest periods when a guy came to the table, He was dressed in jeans and a white t shirt very clean and neat looking man. After he sat down he began to explain to all of us the meaning of life and exactly what was wrong with each and every subject that entered the conversation. He was educated to a point he knew how to use words like integrity and loyalty. I noticed right away that he had mastered a huge arsenal of obscenity which he used to punctuate every sentence and also strung together at the beginning of most of his various dissertations.

As he sat there spouting bar room logic and calling regularly on his mastery of obscenity. Jesus showed me who he really was. My Jesus showed his life to me as a moving picture of heartbreak,
disappointment, insecurity and fear. This sad man talking about how if someone had something he wanted or needed he would just take it by any means necessary. How he would just get a gun and take it. All I could see was a scared little boy. I prayed for him under my breath and asked the Holy Spirit to give me words to help him see where he was in his life. I said the words that were given me I don't even remember them and as I did my heart ached for him. Deep in my soul I wanted to hold him and tell him that he had a Father in Heaven that would cover him with His grace and Love him with a never ending all encompassing Love that could help him thru this maze of sadness and hopelessness of this world. As I finished what I was doing I noticed his countenance had changed. His voice was softer and there were less colorful obscenities in his conversation.

I don't know if what I said meant anything to him but I pray that God can get his attention some how before it is too late for him.. We will all give an accounting for what we have used the life that God gave us. The writings of Paul the Apostle tells me that we are not here to please ourselves as satan would have you believe. Our opportunity is not to get drunk and fight, cuss and have sex with everything that will.

God has given each one of us the ability and a live-in helper to do His will. Which is to further the kingdom of believers. We each have been created by the master of all that exists charged and outfitted for a special task for HIM.

AND YET SO MANY OF US JUST WASTE ALL ON OURSELVES

THERE WILL BE A RECKONING

God bless and help us all

I remember a couple of summers ago we loaded the van with everything we would need to give haircuts I didn’t know how to cut hair but it did not matter. Went over to the north side of town and began rounding them up. Some had quarts of beer they had to hide so they wouldn’t get taken while they were getting their haircut.. We lined them all up behind the Kragen parts store, made them wash their hair in cold water sat them down and began to cut.

They all wanted number ones which made it very easy for the barber. Just whack it off as close as you can… Some even got shaved. One of these guys is no longer with us. His memory is revived every once in a while when someone tells the story of his asking the Pastors wife for a beer when she asked if they needed anything. He was not very observant and did not recognize who she was out on the block..

A while later the owner of the mailbox broke another mans mailbox . The owner of this mailbox was kind forgiving and even said he had time and would fix it himself. The rude man felt very dumb but fixed the mailbox like new.

This is an example of "what goes around comes around" . Our God knows everything that happens and many times you are repaid for your actions. If you are sensitive enough to Gods will you can see this in many situations.

But it does not stop here.

A while later the rude man was accused of breaking another mans mailbox. This he did not do but because of changing his life and giving his life to Jesus he fixed the mailbox for them.

The Lord gave this rude jerk a chance to redeem himself with another opportunity to " do the right thing".

We serve an awesome God.
It was fantastic.

I was invited to a dinner last night which was put on for
the benefit of the Tulare County Jail ministries. It was a nice dinner; there
were hundreds of people there. And the Spirit of the Lord was there without a
doubt. Our sheriff Bill Whitman was there he spoke for a few minutes rather
good job I thought. There was a group that played couple of songs you can't
remember their name at the moment. They sang songs that they had written
themselves and they came from the heart and say I was a guest of M.O.M. which stands for Moving On Ministry.
This is a ministry that is been started by Bob Kaiser an old friend of mine
from way back he has been in prison ministry for several years and I think has
found that being in homeless ministry is almost same. Our homeless guys are
either going into or coming out of jail or prison. Most all of them have been
imprisoned at one time, or has a parent that was incarcerated and not able to
contact them many times we have the whole in family jailed mother's son
daughter father cousin uncle aunt. The fallen Angel is working overtime to make
sure he takes as many with him as he can. It breaks my heart to see this kind
of situation in our America We have had
it so good so long Satan is around to walk right in the moment we have a little
problem. The moment things get hard we rebel we break the law, we take drugs to
make us feel good we get drunk and forget about problems. We don't even know what problems are. There
are so many countries in the world that don't have food I don't mean McDonald's
trash can does not have hamburgers which had been thrown away. I mean there is
no food no food. There are no potatoes being dug up, there are no carrots to
pull up. Our San Joaquin
Valley is the most
plentiful area in the world. You can start your day having eggs by the many
chickens that we have in the area, then have walnuts, pecans, peanuts,
pistachio nuts,. Later you can walk through the rows of grapes, Kiwis,
tomatoes, beans, carrots, squash, watermelon, any kind of vegetable or fruit known
to man is available in our area.

I don't know why I got off on such a tangent. All I really
want to say is that Jesus is the answer whatever the question may be Jesus is
the answer. Paul says that the answer is love. Jesus being love would make Him
the answer no matter what the question is. Police if you read your Bible and
even halfway understand it you can see that all the signs are pointing toward
the last part of the story. As the Bible states in Revelation when we reached
the end it's all over. You have the option then to live eternally or be
tortured in hell eternally where is the choice. If you don't believe this I am
so sorry

God bless

God loves me anyway

That said I must share with you my Friday. Because of the stinkin heat in this valley I cant get out in it very long. I have taken some time for me. It is ok to set idol but it is not all it its cracked up to be. Thursday I talked to one of my people who give me food for homeless sometime and got several loaves of bread. Having a need to go to Tulare I got the opportunity to give bread to the homeless in Tulare. I got to see JoJo and Hunter and some others which have migrated from Visalia. When I returned home I had a call from another who had bread for me and yogurt.

My neighbor is one who likes to get involved in helping others so I ask her if she wants to go with me to distribute the food. She agreed so we set up a time to meet. I go to pick up the food and find there are five boxes of bagels and several hundred loaves of bread and fifty or so cases of yogurt
While I am there I hear a young man ask another of the workers there if he knew where he could get a battery for his van he bought without a battery. He tells him that he spent every dime he had on the van. They have no clue. I butt in and say go down to yada yada . He says I don't know where that is. Long story short I took him to the place where God had revealed to me told him to wait in the truck. I took my old homemade business card (stopped a moment to ask God to help) I go inside and tell the sad story, the man gives me a new battery that was purchased on January 2011 that was already charged and ready to go. I know what God can do but it is always startling to see how completely He does it. I drop him off at his van meet his wife give them yogurt and bread and beat it.

I meet my neighbor and we spend several hours meeting old friends and helping others as the opportunity presents. Give them clothes, bread, yogurt and beagles. I receive blessings beyond measure. Praise my Holy God for allowing me to do this. Anyone can do it. Get on board

God Bless, Ronn
Tweet
